Download file , in .zip there is word file that says what version you must have before u upgrade.I copied from word file for mt7-l09 i dont know about tl10

There is word file when u dowload .zip with everything explained in dowload and read it
i managed to install it successfully , but unfortunately after a factory reset it seems like things are still missing like Motion control for instance and finger print gestures, it looks like it's still Beta.
Its not beta , did factory reset after update and everything is there. Motion control works and finger print gestures also.Phone works flawless !

OK thanks, i downgraded to the B137 Asian that's probably the reason why i had things missing after factory reset. :good:
Aside from moving to lollipop are there any functional changes, for example have the finger print gestures from the mate s been added?
I ask as after the Nexus announcements I have given up on the 6p and am trying to decide between the Mate 7 3/32 and the Oppo r7 plus.

Because huawei is never releasing beta builds on their official site
I'm about to upgrade my phone but can't decide between Mate 7 or LG G4. I talked to Huawei's customer support this morning in NZ they said Mate 7 won't be getting Marshmallow. Will you still be able to use a custom rom in the future to copy Marshmallow? G4 will be getting the Marshmallow.
Any suggestions? I love the look and the feel of the phone it's just not being able to get the latest updates and stuck with old firmware worries me.
EDIT: with EMUI 3.1 can you use knuckle sensor? and finger scanner swipes?

Those gestures are exclusive for mate S , on mate 7 u can answer call and take pictures and videos with figerprint sensor

I don't think so about that.Mate 7 is on leaked pictures about Marshmallow update and its only 1 year old phone.LG G4 is much faster phone , better processor,more ram, better camera... its like 2x price of mate 7

that's good news....hopefully they will push 4.4.4 to rest of Note 8 variants....this tells me that our device may be getting 5.0 (lolipop), what would cool.. even if this device considered quite old (2013), I don't think Samsung will abodened anytime soon since it is only Spen Note device with 8 inch...

Hi all,
Some apps display their status on the statusbar. For example, a security app can display a lock symbol, different for locked and another for unlocked status. In 6.0 B550 there is always an app main icon and no specific status icons. Another example is an SMS app. When a message arrives, there should be an icon that I chose, but there is an app icon only instead. Is it a bug or is it just new Android 6 behaviour?
Well... I can report that same happened to my MATE 7 after update to MM (EMUI4) ... See screenshot attached... Only one user, beside me, reported that and nobody has idea how to fix this...
I'll try to flash the Full MM ROM recently published, maybe the MM OTA update was incomplete... Otherwise it could be necessary to downgrade to LP and than update again to MM... but it takes ALOT of time...
Let me know if you can fix this...

I have the same problem with emui 4.0 on my honor 4x che2-l11 OTA Update
All The apps like "internet speed meter" can't show the status and only app icon.

It looks like Huawei MM or EMUI 4.0 generally has this "feature" for every model. Strange and interesting.

3. Place file in the dload folder on the root of your phone
4. Go into update app or settings > update, Tap menu and "Local Update"

You must have had a bad download then. It worked perfectly for me.
Currently running marshmallow on my honor 6 plus, update went perfect, no errors.
Notable changes:-
New system animations and overl design.
New layout for the settings menu.
Expected marshmallow features such as Google now on tap etc.
Feels smoother than lollipop but time will tell.
Not sure about battery life just yet, only been using for about an hour so far.
New smart window view, changes with your theme and displays more than it used to.
Shortcuts menu has been changed to be able to limit how many shortcuts you can see.
Navbar at the bottom of the screen is smaller.
Battery % inside or beside the battery icon option.
Split screen apps (works fine but app compatibility is limited).
Redesigned recent app drawer, looks more like iOS or windows phone now.
Compass app built in.
Camera seems to take pictures quicker now in wide aperture or HDR mode.
Messaging app has been changed slightly but nothing major.
New themes available obviously.
Probably other changes too but those are the notable ones.

Compass has a camera built in which is where you can see the shot out of the door.
Edit: There are also different view mods, adding screenshots for the options but not what each one looks like, restart required when you change view mode

Weird, are you trying to unzip it on the phone or on your PC?

Nope, I have phone from Polish (or German? not sure if its same thing) distribution.
May be a different version then. This was the UK download and all the honor 6+ phones in the UK got the b332 update a couple of months ago in preparation for the marshmallow update.
I wouldn't know for sure if it would work or not

I don't know work around for when the device gets bricked and OPX is also my daily driver so I cant try it.. Hope a developer finds a way to get TWRP working for this build

What's about the root? I've updated it but I lost the root. I got it again with Kingroot but I cannot replace it with SuperSU (as I made it with last version) and I can't make xposed work...

In Firmware Finder is new ROM with build number B392SP01. It looks like flashable ROM. More in screenshots.
Wonder what the SP01 stands for.

It's got EMUI 5.0.1 and a July Security Patch. Haven't noticed any difference yet, but I haven't really looked.

For some reason the file doesn't want to upload (must be due to the size restrictions) so you're just going to have to trust me on this one.
I wonder if possibble to flash it by FF then dload or updater

It's just a .1 at the end, don't think it's much to get excited about.
I quickly went through the settings and the huawei features and see nothing new there.
Anyway it's flashable and works fine so go and see it for yourselves.

I know that apparently for some people battery life improved since the updates for EMUI5 started coming out but personally don't think I've noticed a single difference since B360.

Regarding battery saver brightness bug, I'm not willing to try it, because I don't fancy reflashing the fw in case it wasn't fixed. I never use it anyway. Sorry.
I successfully replied to a text message from the lockscreen. Had to unlock the phone after clcking "Reply" but it worked.

Bro in emui 4.1 the low resolution mode is worked perfectly where in emui 5 ehen we apply , we cannot feel the difference. Where in emui 4.1 the letters and clarity will be decreased after applying low resolution mode.
changed the kernel with this update?
