[req] hourglass ( sablier ) for diamond !!!

Hello, here is an idea same as diamond beer, to make an hourglass who shall use the accelerometer with animated picture and possibility of set the duration!!!
I'm no programming, if it interests somebody?

Android and linux on pharos

Now android and linux work on pharos.
status:
linux an android boot from haret
touchscreen work very well
GPE work very good (GUI)
keypad work partial /i work on jog wheel
microsd work
bluetooth : Work
GSM Work very well
sound : still on developpement (we are working hard on it)
camera: not work

you need to copy files on microsd card and run haret$$$.exe.
Several things don't work so far -- this is early development. But it's enough to play with.

i tested linux a bit. touchscreen works very well!!
but a lot of settings cant be set. cont config wlan for instance, nor buttons and keys. no gsm module etc etc...
and its basically a tweaked version of linwizzard (this time without a crippled kernel i guess) so BIG improvement!! kudos to you!!
but a lot more work is needed.. (cant play tetris now LOOoooOOL)

juste pour info : je ne suis pas français.
le faite de faire tourner l'appareil sous linux nécessite beaucoup de travaille.
je me concentre maintenant a faire fonctionner tout le matériel de l'appareille.
a savoir : le module GSM, le sons , le module gps, le bluetooth ..
puis je pense qu'il sera avidement possible de faire tourner android sur l'appareille.

Nice work ...
I copied the files to the card wors nice.
But I unable to receive or make any calls...infact on the other callers side it shows my call as ringing...but I cant pick nor answer or make a new call

i'am working now on sound problem : we cannot use gsm before having sound

Il démarre bien la première fois, mais lorsque je veux redémarrer ou éteindre, mon téléphone fige sur le logo htc ?! obliger de remettre le ROM ?!

OK First flash after flash radio 2.07, the ROM is very slow but after hard reset, full speed for this great ROM !
Request Number one if you're ok with it : build a ROM with 6.5.X!
Number two : add Pimbackup ?
But for now it's all good! Internet, 3G+, the 576Mo tweak is on...

[Q] Xiaomi mi2S temperature !

I'm a new user of a xiaomi mi2s 32GB and i have some questions , i'm also a big noob in english , so don't look at my english please (or say something constructive) =)
Well , I did some test with my new smartphone , I've installed CWM 6.0.5.0 and sMIUI (v5.2.7) , it is working very well
In antutu there is 32k with perf mode BUT I've discover my CPU (during some tests or when i'm playing games) is really warm
Once in antutu it reboot (ed ?) , i think for the safe program when it is too hot.
When i'm playing at GTA:vc or Simcity for exemple the screen become really warm.
So i decided to download an app for take the temperature(cpu temp) ...
Results : ( IN CELSIUS DEGREES )
average temp in miui : 28°C
average temp in antutu : 61°C
average temp in gta : vc : 73°C
I was really shocked by the results , and i ask you if there is any danger to playing games like gta on my mi2s
this smartphone has a Snapdragon 600 (QuadCore) at 1.7Ghz with a adreno 320 GPU chipset

Même si les résultats peuvent paraître impresionnants à première vue, ce n'est pas extrêmement dangereux. Oui, c'est un problème connu avec le MI2S (problème de conception ? de driver/kernel ? de CPU/GPU qui chauffe trop ? toutes ces possibilitées ensembles ? etc...) et il n'y a pas beaucoup d'autre solutions que l'undervolt et l'underlock. En espérant t'avoir aidé !

Even if the temperatures may be impressive, this is not extremely dangerous. Well, its a known problem with the MI2S, and there is no real solution expection undervolting and undervolting the CPU/GPU. Hope this helps !

en tout cas merci de ta réponse , j'avais fait quelques recherches mais rien de bien explicite par rapport a la température de nos chers procs , j'ai bien essayé l'underclock mais la consommation de ma batterie augmente (serais-ce dû à l'exploitation de plusieurs coeurs en underclock alors que sans de limitation cpu il n'en qu'un ou 2 ? je ne sais pas)
i'll talk in english , same if i'm bad , because if the others can't uderstand me isn't realy worth it for the XDA's community ( if you understand me xD )

Non, au contraire, ton anglais est parfaitement compréhensible ! J'ai juste pensé que ce serait plus simple pour deux personnes qui parlent français couramment de parler en français. J'ai ensite traduit en anglais pour que toutes les personnes tombant sur ce sujet puissent comprendre. M'enfin, tu as raison, parlons en anglais. (ça m'évitera de traduire au moins ! )

So, no, this is not normal that your battery usage increases when you underlock your CPU. I'll advise you to switch to the "Battery Saving" mode of the ROM to see if there is some improvements (Settings >>>> Performance >>>>> Profile >>>>> select battery saving mode instead of balanced or performance). Otherwise, I would suggest you to backup your data, and reflash completely the rom to start from scratch. You will surely feel a difference. By the way, you will surely fix your notification bar problem.
