HOw to root Galaxy grand duos???

I am new to this forum..I have a Samsumg galaxy grand duos and like to root it safely.Can anyone help me to root.I lost my windows 8 pasdword so cannot do anything with admin permission(if anyone know how to bypass that it will be a help).I tried farmaroot and poot but none of them worked....hope brilliant brains in xda will help me to root my phone safely.

If running 4.3--use cf auto root jellybean(google it..or search in development section)
If running 4.4.2--use cf auto for kitkat ( " "" )
For ur pc...google it...u will get diff. Methods annd some applications...try them or the last way is to reinstall win8...（＾_＾）

Mine is android 4.2.2
Any other method which do not require pc.

Bro. I think u have galaxy grand and not galaxy grand 2??
If you have grand duos then sry to say this section is for grand 2 duos!!!

If your build number contains HXCU You can do it. If its HXX you cant

and when will we get this update for XXU AND XDDU ?

i have samsung galaxy on7 (sm-g600fy). quiet some time has passed since this mobile has released but there are no root techniques yet.. pls help as no root app is compatible as yet..........

I have this thing and I can't find a single info about it on XDA or any where can someone confirm that is a real prime and can I just flash another brand ROM because it's still running kk

OK it's a real prime actually a TD China 4G prime
since I am not in China the sim card won't work can someone help with that am running latest Chinese framework and I am in middle East and three are no middle East baseband for this phone I was wondering can I just flash another models baseband and if so can you upload only the best baseband thank you
