How to install PHILS/Recommended Recovery & You must be WIKO RAINBOW V13 !
Make sure you have a custom recovery installed. (PHILS is the preferred recovery)
Download RR Rom & the latest GApps package.
Boot into recovery.
Perform a FULL factory wipe and wipe/system and dalvik cache as a precaution
Flash RR ROM

Convert to internal storage ERROR
I inserted my SD card, and of course, the phone detected it. There were two options: to format the phone as external or internal storage. When I chose internal storage, it corrupted my SD card. It's no problem that my SD card got corrupted, I could just reformat it... but the problem is the same error happens over and over again. How can I fix this? Thanks in advance!

internal storage is only for apps, so not showing. use sd card.

yes i understand that, but in marshmallow the internal sdcard is emulated storage.
both app storage and emulated internal sdcard use data partition, they even use common space for installing apps and storing files respectively as internal sdcard is emulated
so is there any way i can emulate internal sdcard on my device which is not emulated by default in this rom

With this version, I confirm @rajgeek2 that there's a pb with sdcard. a message is always shown with sdcard.
Honestly, I return to old version waiting fixing pb.

It's a stock widget present in this ROM as "cLock" and you can customize the widget a bit when setting it up. @Khzied
PS. Still curious to know about how to emulate and mount internal sdcard.

Is there any way to move applications to SD? When I try using Apps2SD, my sdcard gets ruined.

2g bug
Has the 2g bug problem solved in cm13 source or in this rom....? Its the only major problem am facing.... In my region 3g network still isn't strong...

Nice, but with many bug :
> Wifi off after x min when elephone is lock.
> connection 3g OR wifi no longer functions, they must be deactivated and activated every x min sometime
> bluetooth not working (turn off/turn on every x second, and write many core dump in /data/core)
> some app (sky force for example) doesn't work (black screen and shutdown)
> batterie shutdown sometime (after reboot, i have 1% but it's a very big % , it's working 10/30min)

Hi , just tested the ROM . Very promising and almost perfect for me . Almost , because I seem to have echo when called , but this is on all 8.1 roms .
So back to LOS14.1 ...
Should there be an answer to , RR is my thing .

Are you trying to install it on a Moto Z (NOT play or force)?
Does it work if you install via TWRP?

I think I ran into the same error when I was trying to flash with an outdated TWRP. Update to the most recent version and try again.

well, all other ROMs flash fine using 3.1.1 but i can try 3.2.1.
EDIT: Seems like that did it. Installing now and i will report my experiences.

Download the .img file to your computer from https://dl.twrp.me/griffin/
Boot your phone into TWRP and copy the .img file onto your phone.
In TWRP tap Install and then down the bottom right of the screen you should see "Install Image".
Tap that and flash the new TWRP .img file.
You should be good to go after that's complete :good:

I just flashed via fastboot. I dont know why, but i was (from day 1) never able to mount the internal storage to my computer to transfer ROMs and Images. That's why i always sideloaded ZIPs when flashing ROMs.

That sounds like a driver issue. I found a guide about fixing that once, I'll see if I can dig it up. Are you on windows?
How did the install go with the latest TWRP?
Edit: I had that issue before. I had to install the drivers from http://download.clockworkmod.com/test/UniversalAdbDriverSetup.msi
and then manually install my phone as a "Google Nexus ADB Interface" in device manager.

I experienced that problem in multiple, different PCs. Some on Windows 7, some on 10 but i could give it a shot nonetheless.
Installation worked on the new TWRP version, installed simple via fastboot.
I also get this message at startup:

It's safe to ignore that error for now. I hear it's got something to do with treble. Should hopefully be fixed by the time official builds come about.

Testing since a few days, no major problems until now in everyday use.

How about battery drain, is deep sleep working on this ROM?

I've had an issue with every single Oreo rom that I've used so far, and that issue is with the fact that my sim card is not a standard carrier and I usually need to manually enter my APN. However on all the Oreo Roms I've tried the + button to add an APN is missing.
Maybe this rom will be different. I'll edit this post with my result later today.
EDIT: The add apn button is missing on this rom too

So, there is an issue with this rom thats not really an issue overall but is purely annoying. I only know one other Android Oreo rom on this forum to do this but whenever it boots it does the vendor mismatch error.

1) Please do not use TiB. If you want use then try Swift Backup or Migrate.
These are better options for now.
2) Please Use Paid Themes preferably, so that Substratum Dev can keep on their good work.
3) If you want to try a new theme, try "Valerie" by bro @@DeadmanxXD.

Encryption is fixed!
Only on other roms, like crdroid am i getting the time 0:00 bug. It still encrypts though, you just got to wait atleast 15min or so, than manually reboot.
Also some bugs i encountered: Installing Apks from outside sometimes doesn't work. it does work on crdroid though

Will I need encyription to use fingerprint?
Hey thanks for great rom, will try it now but i need to know if fingerprint sensor is useable without encyripting the phone.
Also does the system lose functions like camera or video recording after encyripting it like other pie roms?

After encrypting. Remove your existing pin or password. Then set a new one, and make sure to say "no" to Start up password. Then it will work just fine.

What about face unlock... Is this works... If yes then which version or date of gapps u r using???

Excellent ROM... No deep sleep issue. Tons of customisations. Encryption working.. This is a very good ROM. Easily better than cr droid and liquid remix. Awesome work.

This ROM does so many stuff very good like disabling back button on pie gestures and using a left swipe for back, also the customisation level is so high. Battery life is very good.
So here are a few things that can be done better.
LTE icon needs to be different (messes with the aesthetic).
I think fast charging is not as quick as stock but not as slow as 2A. So I'll do a 0-80 and update.
Switching tabs in chrome is laggy.
There's a small bug where the battery indicator goes dim from time to time.
These are all very minor and happy with the ROM. I can see it has the potential to be the best pie ROM for kuntao

I was aosp ext. I didn't even format data. Wiped data and system. Flashed ROM and gapps. That's it

battery percentage is not displayed inside the dotted circle. everything else is fine
