I think that's the first example I have ever seen of a double negative that didn't make a difference!
Pure genius!

Read this today, and had to try it out, once I read that it was N5 compatible:
http://www.androidcentral.com/smugmug-s-camera-awesome-exits-android-beta-now-available-299
Fresh out of beta and available on the Play Store. So far, I like this app. Feature-rich, easy to use.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smugmug.android.cameraawesome
Have fun.
downloaded it, and then quickly got a refund. Has potential. Shoots faster than the stock app, and will lock and hold focus points. But white balance is off when on Auto.
Maybe i'll try it out in the future if it gets fixed.

It's not N5 compatible yet: "Nexus 5 coming soon"
It's compatible. Read the article. Google is a little behind in updating the copy for the app, apparently.

Nexus 5 is not even mentioned in the article. But will try it.
Whoops, from their blog, linked in the story:
http://news.smugmug.com/2013/11/12/camera-awesome-for-android-is-here/
Down in the comments, a commenter asks the question, and the developer responds:
Michael Bonocore

You should be able to install it on the Nexus 5. Check now…it hasn’t been added to Googles compatible list yet, but should be soon.

I tried the app, it is compatible with the nexus 5, it's quick both to open and take pictures but the quality of the pictures is really bad and the UI looks very IOS & aka terrible
Mine is working well, especially now with 4.4.1 loaded. Low light is a challenge with any camera app, but I'll use this as my daily driver.

It appears 7.0 factory images are being uploaded right now! Currently up for the Pixel C, others probably right after!

LOL, same here
I see it for player. I hope it improves the google casting on the player. As it is, the player is not as good as the chromecast when it comes to just straight up google casting.
Hopefully we can get 7.0 for shamu by the end of the day!
Still notting..also no factory image for the 6p and 5x
Maybe google stopped thinking they have done enough for one day

One image at a time, factory images are usually rolled out over quite a few hours. Just started about an hour ago.

I hope it's by the end of the day! I'm anxious to flash it! And then to wait for my favorite kernel to update...... That could be a while.

Based on posts on xda nexus 6p forum, it looks like elemental X Dev preview 5 kernel works with official N update. So we may be able to get by with DP5 kernels until they are officially updated!

Not really.... for the last few months all factory images and OTAs have been posted at the same time.
I'm just practicing my patience lol
They're probably uploading the largest image sizes first hence why the pixel c, Nexus player, and Nexus 9 have already received it. Nexus 6 will most likely be last if they use this logic

I just spoke with a Google rep over live chat and asked about the factory image being posted for the Shamu. Well...... Like all live chat reps do, they beat around the bush like crazy, tell you modified Android can't be supported because they can't guarantee stability (even though this wasn't the topic at all!) And then told me the update will come as OTA (which we already knew!) And then after asking the same question enough times, he gives me a link to the factory images (which again, we all know about!) So I just ended the chat. No answers to be had lol

That's on mk monthly security patches though, this is a full new version of Android so I'm basing it off the last major release (Marshmallow)

This doesn't work for all nexus. Only working on the 5x and 6p AFAIK.
I dont think we will see factory img till they start to push out the OTA and i have a feeling the OTA wont go out till next week. but i hope i am wrong.
Android 7.0 Nougat is being uploaded to AOSP right now http://www.androidpolice.com/2016/08/23/android-7-0-nougat-is-being-uploaded-to-aosp-right-now/ …
The Nexus 9 was just added the the Android 7.1 dev preview page, maybe we'll see the shamu build today! Not too excited myself as 7.1 isn't worlds different from what we have, but who knows!
Maybe We get only Final release...
Our 6 is not getting it. End of discussion

I'm fine with that honestly. It's not an overhaul so I'm good waiting myself! Not like the crazy storm that happened here when 7.0 was released lol probably because it was a major update!

Wrong. As of the moment I type this we're still expected to receive the final product even though we aren't getting a developer preview. This is according to the developer overview page on developer.android.com. Now, it's impossible to determine what happens in the future. Google may decide not to update the Nexus 6, in which case developers on the forums here will take over, just as they have for all the other Nexus devices.
What we don't need here is people making baseless accusations without facts to back them up.

Lol I think OP meant when will Android P roms come for Nexus 6... anywaz... If they ever come... it's only after official release of P since there's not much point in porting Developer Preview builds.
Cheers!
