So i wanted to install the cm 12 custom rom, and when i was in TWRP it desnt let me saying that my phone it trltecan.. How can and where get a cm rom for trltecan.. or how do i change it.. i got a n910f running Kyubi deblated rom, but i can always go back to stock if it would help.. Thank you
Are you sure about the version of your note4? Is it N910F (trltexx) or trltecan?
If your phone is trltexx and TWRP says that it is trltecan you probably flashed the wrong recovery.

Im pretty sure, it was originaly on PAN (hungary) 5.0.1 when i got it, when 5.1.1. came out, i flashed the netherlands and i flashed recovery in odin, when i tried to flash cm12, it clearly gave me an error saying my phone is not trltexx and some other (i cant remember), my phone is trltecan.. what should i do.. im just curious if i broke something or messed up something, and how to fix it, i'd like to give cm another try even i dont like iti so much, but mostly im curious now what the problem is :crying::silly: thanks
Just to be sure, can you please install Phone INFO ★Samsung★ and let us know what the app says in Device Name and Product Name.
Anyway if your phone is really trltecan you can't install CM for trtlexx

If you are on 5.1.1 rooted rom, you'll get the 'can' error, due to zamcums kernel.
I flashed Philz kernel with Odin, but I don't know if you'll end up with the same error when flashing CM from recovery.

yeah never mind, i just checked my downloads, and i found i have flashed the CAN recovery.. flashed now philz and cm12 works flawless.. Thanks anyway, if it wasnt for the answers, i'd probably not have checked my downloads.. small and careless mistakes can be so much trouble
I just have the same Proble. N910F, phone Info says trltexx, cm not flashable because it's recognized as trltecan.
I may have the same issue with the kernel, but flashing phils kernel over odin didn't solve the issue. It's still recognized as trltecan. I'm now restoring my backup after root (with trltecan kernel), after succesfull boot will flash phils kernel and then retry. Any other input on this issue?
Edit:
i think i got it sorted. Wrong twrp version. This Version thing gets really confusing. The International Version N910F is trltexx, then theres the Exinos Version treltexx, and on the twrp site, under international Qualcomm there are the other trlte versions. The right one was quite a bit down... I hope i've got the right combination now. N910F International Qualcom trltexx... Just as a additional question: If i get this wrong again on roms, would i brick this device by flashing something for another verison of this Phone?

yeah, you should go for philz recovery..
It could brick, if you flash other versions of roms, like the c for exynos, or g, or any other then the F, and if you are on 5.1.1. and flash 5.0.1.. so keep it 5.1.1.. but i think you can flash it back to odin, didnt brick mine yet, but i think so..

Hi all, this is my first ever post so please bear with me!
I have a Note 4 sm-910f. I rooted recently and have the latest TWRP installed. I have tried to install a number of ROMs but:
If I install AOSP based I get a "Failed" error and a note to say that the ROM is not the correct one for the device - it seems to get my device wrong too?!
If I install a Touchwiz ROM such as NoteX it appears to flash OK but it just keeps bootlooping upon restart.
Any ideas? Could it be anything to do with the modem or bootloader? I'm currently on stock 5.0.1.
Any help greatly appreciated!
Cheers

I think I need to get the correct bootloader and/or modem - I just don't have a clue why or what is what. I an't find any guides!

Alright, now that my n910g is stuck with that I tried installing some nameless rom and the screen doesn't really work. I need to use Spen always even to click on the dial button.
Can you suggest any good rom for Note 4 N910g?
I really need to give my phone a fresh start as this will be my first time to flash my phone.

Listen, Dr. Ketan's note 5 port L12 with S6 edge features is based on android 5.1.1 Australian "COH4" baseband version. So first download and install that stock firmware having COH4 baseband version using odin. Here's the link for that: www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/56424/N910GDTU1COH4_N910GXSA1COH4_XSA/
And after installing this, root your phone, then install CWM recovery and install dr. Ketan's L12 version rom which you have downloaded. Your phone will work fine after that.
Baseband version of your phone plays a very important role in determining which rom you can install on your phone. For example if u liked and downloaded a samsung stock modified custom rom that has baseband version say "PQR" and suppose if your phone has baseband version "XYZ" then you cannot install that rom on your phone. To install that rom you will first need to flash the stock rom of PQR baseband version in Odin. To check which baseband version your phone is running, go to (settings >> about phone/device >> baseband version). Look at the last 3 or 4 alphabets.

Downloaded the stock from from sammobile and my phone was able to boot successfully. But the problem is that ever since, I tried flashing twrp recovery to flash dr.ketan rom which did not work. My phone's touch is really not working well. I have enabled touches in developer options and confirm that my s-pen works fine but when I touch the phone, it gets detected 1 cm below where I actually touch. This problem might have been created when I flashed twrp recovery because that was the first time I saw this issue.
Please help how to fix this ?

[/COLOR]Install Lg Pc suite.
Make sure you have NO root or custom recovery
Open pc suite (make sure you have all g2 drivers they should come with pc suite but just in case)
Then select region of your phone hkg probably asian one (not sure bcz g2 in asia are f320 models)
Then find the recovery option in pc suite and it will reflash your phone with the latest firmware availible. (if root or recovery installed device WILL brick here)
Rooted or phone with custom recovery may get bricked or not flashed!!!
Make sure you select proper location for it so it doesnt flash the same rom over again!!
If that does not work try to install stock kitkat rom and again no recovery no root try to update it normally.
If any of those doesnt help we are here to help.
Good luck

Small edit here HKG actually stands for Hong Kong international. It is still d802 but probably little differences not sure. Also not only touch but probably baseband problems will occur as data and signal etc.

First of all thanks alot for your response, as raptor mentioned refurbished phones have such issues it got me curious so i followed method described here http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/warning-to-people-bought-phones-ebay-t2991195
and found out on the motherboard of my phone its written LS980.. currently my phone is still stuck with the issue as i have installed 4.4.2 D80220d-HKG. i tried reflashing with LS980ZV8_13 TOT using lg flash tool.. method described here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NRwlxeUprZE
but it doesn't download on the phone giving a failure or model mismatch.. here is my phone's imei as shown by Lg flash tool : 357246052164801
here is what imei.info shows when i write my imei there.

any suggestion will be of great help sir. !
Maybe if you have custom recovery installed on it you could install ls980 stock rom easier than flashing via PC on the other hand you may want to check sprint or verizon website no sure which is which. To download ls980 drivers on your pc this might be the issue with not recognizing your device.
You can also check if there is any kind of support tool on their website might be helpful.
If that doesnt work you may install TWRP custom recovery on your device which makes flashing ls980 specific roms very easy. If you need help on that ill be happy to guide you.
Actually the method with pc suite recovery still an option maybe ? Maybe you want to give it a try.
Try different USB on pc i think it makes difference if usb 2.0 or 3.0 is attached my pc has 2.0 ports at back panel and 3.0 on front.

Thanks again for quick response, i tried upgrading via pc suite.. showed no update.. i am 100% sure the main board says LS980 and the back of the phone too.. but i tried to check imei in hard reset mode. If the board is 980 should not brick so you can flash it.

Hi all, I can't really figure out from all the releases posted here how to find a rom which can be installed on my phone, while I'm waiting for an unclock for CID11.
I've a 900V CD11 locked with BT1 rom sim-locked and SD-not working and now I can't use my phone at all. I'm in stuck at all.
I've rooted it already, waiting for a proper rom.
I tried some roms but I always failed, the last one "G900V_PF4_Stock_Deodexed_Debloated_ROM" which is made for locked phone, was failed to upload from chainfire.flash_0.50 in the middle of flashing.. it reboots phone and it become bricked
You may kindly indicate me the steps I've to follow to install the right rom, if I've to use safestrap or chainfire.flash_0.50.apk, and if I've to flash with Odin the bootloader and with which file.
Thank you so much, please add any consideration that you can consider important!
with the G900V, you dont want to try to unlock the bootloader or itll hard brick. You have to use safestrap
---------- Post added at 12:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:54 PM ----------
if you go to sammobile.com, you can get the stock image to flash in odin to unbrick if its just softbricked. You may want to check the G900V forums to make sure that you dont flash a version that doesnt have root available for it, as vzw has locked the device down like fort knox. Im at work currently, but can look further into this for you after 6pm cst
I tried to unlock and it didn't hard brick.
I can use safestrap but to upload what? I can't unlock it (it's CID11), and I can't find a ROM valid for this phone! (the one I used (suggested on the root phone procedure) is SIM-locked and with SD not working).
I hope someone can suggest me a rom which will work on my phone. Thank you
also, i dont know what you mean by "toshiba-locked bootloader"
Wow you're in the wrong area... Go here and scroll down to prepare your phone for root
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=64744405
Actually read everything and make sure you understand it before doing it because if you tried to unlock your bootloader when you have the wrong emmc (11 instead of 15) you either didn't read or or didn't understand the thread good luck and you should stick with the vzw specific threads with the 11 good luck and happy flashing

thank u for help! Are u addicted to that forum? I would really appreciate if u give me some help finding an uploadable version. I'm looking for a 6.0.1 with sim unlocked, root if possible and SD working. If there isn't exist one a LL could be good too, my phone is sim-locked now and isn't reading SD, so I can't use it.
Yes I rooted it, I can use safestrap and chainfire flash application (superSU installed). Thank you so much!
I've found the ROM, now I'm on 6.0.1 but without SD usage, looking for a fix..
Does it happen anyone that after BP1 flashing the SD card is not more available? Have you ever lost SD card with wrong ROM?
I don't know if it is electric problem or software
When you tried to unlock your bootloader it wiped it so you will need to reformat it for it to work again... If you would have read the thread you would know this?
So, does it not boot at all now?
Tes it works good, the only problem is that it can't read SD.
Yes I formatted it FAT32 already and other pone and PC works with it without problems.
When it was ROM G900FXXU1BOC7 it worked, after update to PB1 it didn't, is that possible that ROM prevent see SD?
Thank you
i believe @bad bone is correct, it sounds like the problem is the bootloader. You may have to flash a pit file in Odin to correct this. im basically bowing out on this because where your problem is may also lie a den of dragons. Im just hoping that a bump in this thread will get the attention of someone more familiar with this variant of the device. Also, locked bootloaders are the bane of Samsung using existence

I have the same device as you, I am on stock Android 5.0 rooted (CID 11), what ROM are you using for 6.0.1? Is your device still rooted? Can you point me to a helpful tutorial?
Rooted s5 MOAR rom
I have a Verizon s5, rooted it with a method on here by jrkruse I believe, flashed the stock debloated rom, have safestrap and su and busy box installed, then flashed MOAR rom for 5.0, I have CID 11, running pb1.
Im having issues with my S5 g900t, currently running omega rom, but i cannot get all the band frequencies i need for australia. Is there a custom rom for g900i? I have tried to flash the telstra firmware, but odin keeps erroring out. Any help is greatly appreciated

From what i understand omega v20 does not support 900I. It also uses phoenix kernel which I have heard has compatibility issues with 900I. Try Omega V18 (lolipop) or if you want a marshmallow based rom, try something else. Remember that these posts were posted years ago and that last year's "latest TWRP" is not THE latest TWRP.
you may want to flash original firmware via sammoblie to get you out of this predicament first.
edit. also post on a more appropriate thread next time. or else no one is going to find ur question
