I just got a Galaxy S5, and it came with Lollipop installed (5.1.1). I'd like to downgrade it to KitKat (4.4.2) but no KitKat Firmware for this exact model is available. However, there is 4.4.2 Firmware available for the SM-G900T and the SM-G900T1. Would the Firmware for one of these models work? Thanks.

Hello
I do have a Galaxy S4 LTE I9505 on H3G, now my phone is on the CM 5.1.1 lollipop and I want to turn it back to the official rom, I find two ROM's one to the baseband I9505XXUHOD7 and the other to I9505XXUGNJ3 which is my current one.
Now i want install the official ROM with the baseband I9505XXUHOD7 because its on the 5.0.1 and the other original is on the 4.4.2. So my question is if I can install the ROM with the baseband I9505XXUHOD7.
And this is a link for the ROM : http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/48264/I9505XXUHOD7_I9505H3GHOD1_H3G/

Yes, but you will have to reflash the lollipop firmware one second time if the flashing method don't update the bootloader.
Hi,
So I have an Australian SM-N910G running 5.1.1, and I want to get MM as it has been released for the Indian version of the SM-N910G. Reports have said there is no issues. If I were to do this, would I flash the 5.1.1 Indian firmware and update or am I able to just flash the 6.1.1 firmware over my stock 5.1.1 Australian firmware?

You just need to flash the Marshmallow firmware. I'm in a similar situation, have a N910C on 5.1.1, UAE version, about to flash 6.0.1 using the Poland N910C firmware.
can it be done without bootloader upgrade ??? and is a downgrade possible after that ?
The indian 6.0.1 MM firmware can be odin flashed over your existing 5.1.1 firmware without upgrading your bootloader.
You can still downgrade back to 5.1.1 after you flashed the MM firmware.
I want to downgrade to 4.2.2 but I can't find the PDA in my phone only the 4.4.2 has the exact PDA in my phone, I was downloading some stock firmware on sammobile and Samsung updates but still only 4.4.2 has exact to my phone and there is no 4.2.2 available for my phone, so I've read some forums that GT i9506 is bootloader unlocked and the i9506 and I've heard some people that shv -e330s is same with i9506. And other variants of s4 is bootloader locked. So is it possible that I can downgrade 4.2.2 from 4.4.2? My s4 is shv-e330s

Samsung recently released the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware update for the Galaxy Note 3 with the model number SM-N900W8. The new firmware, which comes with the build number “VLU2DPG1,” was rolled out in multiple countries, including Canada, Mexico, Peru and Uruguay. Here’s a tutorial showing manual installation for the Canadian version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
There are two official ways to get the new firmware — as an over-the-air (OTA) update and updating through Samsung Kies. If both these methods are not working, users can also install the firmware manually by downloading the N900W8VLU2DPG1 Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow stock firmware and then flashing it using a tool called Odin.
The article is wrong, there is no mm for the n900w8.
DPG1 is lp: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N900W8/

It appears it is 6.0.1 MM for the N900

None of the note 3 phones have mm.
The article still refers to dpg1 as mm but it is really lp.
There is no stock mm for n900: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-N900/
My S4 running on 5.0.1 is bricked I've tried to flash it several time with odin but the only firmware available for the i337 model is 4.4, I've tried flashing recovery, bootloader, 5.0.1 update with adb and 4.4 firmware. After doing some research I found out you can't use an older version because of the locked bootloader, and their isn't any 5.0.1 firmware available online. Can anyone post a stock firmware for 5.0.1, that I can flash with odin (.md5) not rom.
There is no stock 4.4 firmware for the i337.
Did you confirm the model # in download mode?
