help to root SG SM-N910L lollipop 5.1.1

help
some help ..??

wanna know also

No root available for SM-N910L running 5.1.1. yet. Samsung has updated Android 5.1.1 with root block and the only way to get around it is to install custom kernel. There are available custom kernel for Note 4 but not the model SM-N910L. I will try to downgrade to 5.0.1. and see what happens... If you force it with root script not made for this model, you will be stuck in bootloop forever! aka soft brick....

5.1.1
All I have to say is NOTE 4 sucks with 5.1.1. We can't downgrade or root. worst than a bootloop

any solution to root 910L 5.1.1?

in other threads whenever someone was mentioning custom kernels for 910c/f/g they suggested talextop and suemax kernel (http://forum.xda-developers.com/search.php?searchid=429310591)
on the first post for those kernel i didn't read anywhere specifically that 910L would be supported.
some still suggested it in the posts though.
As I'm 5.1.1 also and just saw a massive 1197MB update available I can only assume it's the 6.0
As some with 910C said they succeded with rooting at the end of the above thread: is it worth trying the upgrade to later have better chances on root? Or has there any method been found for 910L 5.1.1 root?

[Q] New Note 3 User

Getting my note 3 from o2 UK tomorrow, 1st thing i want to do is root! Is it the same procedure as my s4 or is it completely
different, can lollipop be rooted yet? or do i have to root kitkat 1st? What is the easiest way to root/flash custom recovery?
The only other thing is i dont know what version of the note 3 i am getting yet, upgraded online, i am assuming its the N9000
cheers
So, you have plenty of time till tomorrow to do some Google searching. There are thousands of how to's on the Web.

If your phone comes with an unlocked bootloader then rooting is easy, as easy as S4, and same procedure. For Lollipop, just flash the latest TWRP (2.8.5.0) and flash the latest SuperSU zip from the recovery and you are done. No, there's no need to root KitKat first to be able to root Lollipop.
It is the same process rooting L & KK.

Galaxy s5 g900v, version 5.0 are there any rooting methods?

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 version G900V,
Android version 5.0
are there any rooting methods available for this phone yet?? My phone does not have lollypop
I tried the towelroot.com and I was able to download tr.apk but my phone won't let me click the install button.................Does this mean my phone is unrootable????
I've been working on this for a few months! ( I'm just slow and wanted to be sure) I successfully rooted the g900v last night. What build/kernel are you? On 5.0 its as simple as flashing 4.4.4, and THEN ncg kernel, which no matter what will be done before towelroot will work. My g900v was on 5.0 so my first step was to flash 4.4.4 (NK2) on top of it just to start my process.
Don't forget once you are done with rooting with towelroot and after you install SU, flash your kernel back to what it originally was. That way it stops acting so wonky. Ex. I had to flash nk2 kernel back to mine.
Look up Root g900v on ncg
Hope that helps!

[Help] Install twrp in Galaxy s5 sm-g900v 6.0.1

Hey there I just got a new samsung galaxy s5, and I have been searching on the internet since yesterday, and haven't been able to find a thread that gives me information about installing custom recovery or installing a rom based in stock without any bloatware.
My phone is the samsung galaxy s5 sm-g900v (not rooted, i haven't been able to do it, maybe it's not posible yet )
android 6.0.1
kernel version 3.4.0
So my questions are:
Can I flash the twrp.tar file with odin?
Is there anyway to install a rom based in the stock of samsung but without bloatware?
And finally, can I root android 6.0.1 in my verizon s5?
Thanks in advance
you have alot to learn my friend.. if you are on 6.0.1 i dont think you can downgrade. you need to be on a 5.0 and then root then if you have a samsung board you can unlock the boot loader to install TWRP if its a toshiba you cant..

I just got the s5, but i get rid of it,im back on my old lg g2, seems it was imposible to install a clean rom on that device.
6.0.1 is downgradable. If you had a 15 chip then you could get TWRP. Even if you had an 11 chip you could still flash a debloated rom on Lolipop.

I've searched but I'm lost on where and how to downgrade 6.01? Is it just flashing over a 5.0 ? or is there more to it because it's new? And where can you find a guide for rooting 6.01 or downgrading it and then rooting?

I already gave the phone to my gf, but what would happen if I try to flash a stock based debloated rom with my pc? I mean flashing the debloated version of 6.0.1?

Flash a G900V 5.0 Lollipop Odin TAR. If you have a CID 11 chip then you can either:
- Downgrade to lollipop and stay rooted their.
- Stay / upgrade to marshmallow but not have root.

you can downgrade from marshmellow to lolipop however you cannot downgrade to kitkat due to the fact that the bootloader is different
I advise you DO NOT make move to unlock bootloader on locked device.Like install 900f roms 900f kernels. Because i tried this **** and my s5 is turned to trash. Do not try belive me.

Why are you advising those with a locked bootloader not to unlock it? If you have the right emmc, there are like 4 different methods to do it. It's simple!
