Hi
Everytime I install (or reinstall) Banks gapps.... I never have play services.
Opening any Google app then shows an error.
I have to manually install a play services apk... And I lose all Google accounts on the phone.
What is happening.... Can someone help please?
Does this happen with all versions of Gapps?

Because you have soo many different people and thoughts on what gapps are needed. Like I prefer to use a gapps that doesnt have google music, playstand, movies and such. All I need is play services, gmail and the libs. Everything else is bloat for me. That is why there are soo many different ones.

I don't mean why different sizes (nano, micro, standard, full, stock, etc), I mean why from different sources like Open GApps, BaNkS-Dynamic-GApps, etc.

Each one is done by someone that has different tastes in gapps. Gapps you have to remember is closed sourced so its not like one person can just put together a gapps package that fits everyone.

Yeah one uses a themed setup so the apps are transparent. The clear is transparent and the non-clear is normal. Also if you use CM themes there are add ons for theme ready gapps, so that themes can theme them properly. That is on the TBO G+ page.

I didn't see any gapps zips on that page...
You need at least this package: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121212-signed.zip
For CM10.1 Nightlies since they are 4.2.2 now.
I've used them but I will try again

All the google apps, I also re-flashed it and it still didn't work. :l
Well the apps that come in the gapps now are Talk, Play Store, Browser, Calendar, News, Quick Search, and some other minor stuff.
Gmail, Chrome, Voice, G+ and others are downloadable from the Play Store.
Is there not a pack with them in?

Make sure you reboot once with WiFi on.
As long as you have Play Store - just go in and search for any Google app, then scroll down and find the line that says MORE BY GOOGLE INC. Tap that and you'll see everything else you can install.

Package seems to be exactly what I#m looking for..
But can you tell me whats the difference between 4.3 and 4.4 package ?
4.4 apps should work on 4.3, or ?
And which apps are included in the core package ?
Here is a list of the APK's included in Banks' 4.3 GApps. I don't think the 4.4 GApps work with 4.3 ROMs, but I'm not 100% on that.

Nice. I haven't taken the time to theme and tweak it yet, but once I get some more free time I will.
What about all the libs ? I see some stuff from maps which he propably forgot to delete but I want to add some GApps from another package how do I know which libs and dependencies to add ?
What is each zip for?
I'll just love to know what does each zip on http://goo.im/devs/BaNkS/GApps/4.3 does !!!
Have been looking and can not find an explanation on that, on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2012857 only 4.4 zips are described.
I have deodexed the apps, framework, and priv-app from the latest Lollipop I9505XXUHOB8. I can get it to install ok but when I boot in the system most of the google apps, playstore, google+, books etc FC. Clearing cache and stuff in the application manager doesn't help. I also am unable to install any version of gapps as it give error 40, not compatible with the apps in the system. Anyone who has been successful in getting deodex to install in a stock system without building a full rom, I would appreciate knowing to stop the FC's from happening with google stuff and why gapps are failing. I have been to the gapps thread but not of much help at this time. Thanks in advance...
A little more information. I use JoelDroidLollipopBatchDeodexer to do the deodexing. Just hoping that some rom devs can share their secrets on how to get the google apps to not FC. Reaching out to @slim80, @Albe95, @ambasadii, @Kushan02, for some help please.

Tale it from a gapps package for paranoid android cyano or some other rom. If that not work too then best way is to remove completely all gapps and keep only PStore and GMSCore (play service)

edit: seems that program was the one to do it. no FC's in any google apps so far, they usually occurred right upon boot up. none so far yay

Cheers man, but surdu_petru released LOS 13.0 today, so I didn't need to uninstall anything.
I am looking for a stock ROM (25.93.14) without GApps.
Is that available anywhere?
I want to combine the stability of Stock with the battery saving advantages of not using Google Play Services.
@disguisedview, @yeshwanthvshenoy, @lexie90 and others, any assistance would be deeply appreciated. :good:
Thanks.

Check out the above link(thread by @tywinlannister7). It's pure Stock ROM (optimised) without Gapps. Just clean flash it and make sure you are on the latest N modem files.

did you delete google play services?
That's the main one i want to get rid of?
If you do play Store may not work right I guess.
You can always make a backup, try everything you want And If anything Go wrong, restore!!!!
