I just got the verizon samsung galaxy note 3 SM-N900V so i wanted to know if there is any rooting method to root it and it has the 5.0 lollipop ?

You can't. 4.4.2 and prior are the onoy rootable firmwares. You cannot roll back to a rootable state. You are stuck on stock. Sorry.
