Does anyone know where i can get a service manual for S4 model i9506? I´ve found for i9500, but since some voltages are different from both models, i assume there must be a specific one for i9506.
Thanks in advance,
Regards

I have stumbled upon different places of manufacture ("MADE IN ...") for the Galaxy S4 I9500, I9505.
If anyone could verify it, it'd be gr8.
K.S.A. Unit
My device is MADE IN VIETNAM.
i think there is already a thread for this but ok
i9505 made by samsung ...no country.
bought in germany
Thanks for your input. Tried to search for a thread, but effort was in vain.

hey,
so i finally decided to get a s4 and happily walked into the GT-i9506 which matched my needs in terms of newest hardware and just being the s4. my question now is:
how can i use custom roms etc., as i couldn't find any useful words about this model.
i know dev support isn't or will not be as good as for the 9505, but is there at least something?
thanks in advance.

Where did you get this from? Which country?
Hey I'm new to this site so sorry if this is the wrong place to post or if it had been answered before!
What does it mean when people refer to the S4 as the Samsung I9500? I have the US Cellular SCH-R970 and I would like to root it and install a more stock android like rom on it and I've been trying to do some research but I keep getting hung up because I don't see my model listed very much. I do how ever see everyone throwing out Samsung I9500 though. Can someone explain this and possibly point me in the right direction?
i9500 is the international exynos version i think.
i9505 is the international snapdragon 600 version.
i9506 is the international snapdragon 800 version.
there are also other models. you can find a lot more info on gsmarena.com

Thanks for getting back to me. That makes sense. So do you know if the US Cellular version of the S4 is limited in roms I can put on it? Like I said, I haven't really seen much on my version.
Well it depends very much on the number of devices sold.
depending on what you want - if you like a specific custom rom - you should search for it on the forums or strait through google. It is very easy to search for something like: SCH-R970 cyanogenmod 11 xda -> resulting in some useful threads.
good luck! and good flashing!
Hey guys I looked under my battery and on the box and even in the phone it says the model number is SGH-M919 so I am unsure what model the phone is. If it is a i9500, i9505, i9505G or a i9506. Can someone help me so i can figure out what rom to use on the phone. since the 4.4 kitkat update my Tmobile S4 battery life has gone to poo. Any help would be greatful please.

Is it possible to port i9500 rom to i9505? There are quite a few roms I would like to try, but they're for i9500. Does someone know anything on this? Thanks in advance
Can't be done. The hardware is too different between the two models, especially the SoC.
