The firmware u are using is just fine I had used the same and for more then a month and incase if u want a pit file u check my signature the 2 nd link is having a pit file make sure u download for ur i9500 only using other version pit file is dangerous
Flash pit file only along with the firmware u have
U also need to check re partition if ur flashing pit file also
However if u are not using pit file do not check re partition
Double check b4 starting the process to be sure

backup your apps, apk, messages, call logs and reflash stock firmware.
don't root with knigroot or others..there are several guides available on xda for rooting grand 2,follow them.
king root makes your device vulnerable to hackers as it has no root controlling app.
you can also first install recovery, then flash supersu v2.46.zip .

Rooting of Samsung Galaxy J5

Hi I am looking for a receipe to root Samsung Galaxy j5. Can please someone help me with the files and how to do it? Thank you very much, Best regards,
Go for cfautoroot...

Yes with cf auto root.
You can use "Kingroot" on your phone
Nothing else needed

Hi all
I used c.f. auto root it was fine for about an hour. I granted root to afwall and after some time it stoped working. Any root checker tells me my device is not rooted. What's wrong?

Yeah but if you choose the right file you will get an opportunity. If you flash supersu official zip 2.7x it will patch some files in phone and will hide one annoying line on boot. (KERNEL IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING)
So why you just not try it and reply then with what you think about that
