I`am sure the S5 launcher will be ported as a mod or in a rom or released as a theme in a custom launcher like Nova or similar.
I'm curious whether officially be released to note 3 in the update

I think it will, the Note 4 will be released in about 6 months so thats still a long time.
BTW here is the S5 TW launcher http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2703680. You need root for this.
Unfortunately I do not have root, and do not want to modify anything, so unless I sell is Note 3. because I should never see the aktualizcji with the new TW UX 2014 for fast
Hey guys. I was planning on attempting bringing a new ROM to our phone. The problem is, I cant decide which ROM? Which ROM would you guys want the most?

And another vote for Liquidsmooth. I'm not picky though. I just like the idea of more roms to choose from.
RR
Nobody wants clean, well optimized and hack-free AOSP? Aww...
i would also like liquidsmooth. i just like trying different roms. right now i'm on stock rooted 5.0.2, but can't make many changes.
I didn't see anybody talking about this.

Motorola has released the kernel source on github. Maybe this can help breathe a little life into some of the development going on for Surnia devices.
It was merged with msm8916 kernel source

I'm not sure what that means. Do you have more info about it? Or, a place for me to read a little?

Hi!
It's been a while since I have bought my Mi A1.
During this time i've tested various custom roms but every single one doesn't feel as smooth as stock rom.
Have i missed something in installation or its common issue? Personally, laggy animations bothers me, but from the other hand I really like customizations that are not possible in stock rom.
So, is there any way to "fix" that laggy animations?
Thanks.

You should try aosp caf by sooti , i think it has better performance than stock. But for now it has wifi hotspot bug.

For me, at the moment lineage OS is better than all the others, stock rom include.
I use Franco Kernel but even without for me lineage is the best.

If you use Franco Kernel you have conditioned yourself to not notice lag. Nobody uses Franco Kernel if their priority is the phone's smoothness and performance.
How is the battery backup of the custom Roms compared to stock? I'd like to use a custom Rom with many customizations and good battery backup, which Rom can you guys recommend?
Costume rom have signals drop

Didn't try every rom but flashed AEX, RR and, pixel experience (on pixel experience I faced a audio clicking bug that is really so irritating caused by a substratum theme because of pixels experience don't have support for OMS) didn't feel any different for battery life same because of lots of customization will drain battery' like hover controls, DT2W they will always keep sensors on so battery drain is aspected. I did try a custom kernel but not impressed so I come back to stock and in March security patch battery is good enough for my daily use not similar to nougat but I'm happy. I'm only use root or custom rom for getting ads free YouTube, only for YouTube but now on stock i've got adsfree YouTube for unrooted user so I'm on stock with clean AOSP no modifications stock rom, April security patch is arrived on my phone but I didn't updated because many users they updated reported that nothing changed only some bug fix so I just stay on March. ☺
I went back to stock. Aim rom started to lagging like every rom. Now i have stock rom with april patch + mint kernel and some magisk modules.

Is there any solution of it? I am using RR official and facing it badly.
I'm afraid there is no solution to this problem yet (that's why i went back to stock rom)
Possible solution but it didn't worked for me
some people say's if you go back to stock rom and after that flash costum rom you don't have signal issue.

Just Flash Stock Rom.. through Mi Flash Tool
I'd prefer stock rom if it have dt2sleep statusbar and some easy way to take screenshot like a tile in quick setting.
For now im stick with RR.
I highly recommend you guys to install DotOS. So far 0 lags and feels smoother than stock 0.o
