Bricked g2 D802 - black screen "on" - HELP - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I installed a rom on my g2 without installing the bootloader required first.
right now the phone can't get to recovery and at boot shows "LG" logo for a sec, then immediately goes black but stays on
I can get to "Download mode"
What can I do to fix this?

If you can get to download mode then try tot back to your stock firmware.

You may be able to restore using the LG Mobile Support Tool too.

[Q] TWRP issue

I have a Verizon LG G2 and I tried to flash TWRP using the adb method. The process went by smooth, but the problem is that I can't boot into recovery. Whenever I try to the LG logo screen shows up and goes away almost in an instinct and then goes black and stays like that until I reboot the phone. Has anyone came into this same problem or know a way that I can fix it?

Using the flash tool will take your phone completely back to it's original factory state and that includes the recovery. If you get stuck in a bootloop after using this method, you should be able to fix it by performing a hard factory reset.
When the device is powered down hold the volume down button. While pressing volume down press the power button. After the device kicks on release both buttons. As soon as the LG logo appears press the power button a second time. It's a little tricky at first but if you have done it correctly it should go into a white screen asking you if you would like to perform a factory reset. Go ahead and reset the phone.
This should fix your problem and boot you up into a fresh install.
I tried this but it dose not work, I can't get into the recovery mode. the g2 stuck LG logo....

[Q] Stuck at Firmware Update screen, can't enter recovery or boot

Hello,
I think I'm in trouble. My LG G2 D802 is stuck in firmware update screen, where it stays at 0%. I can't flash for some reason, it says it isn't connected to my computer when I try to.
This happened after I tried to flash back to the original LG G2 firmware. It didn't work, gave me an error and now I'm stuck with this screen, whatever I try.
Can anyone please help me?
Managed to solve it using the second method here.

LG G2 stuck on logo, no recovery, download mode not working properly

Hi everyone,
After trying to flash the resurrection remix rom on my LG G2 D805, i got stuck on the logo, with no recovery mode, and on download mode it says "USER B3" or "USER B4" and rooted, and when i try to flash the kdz file it says "upgrade stopped due to an error". Also, the phone if not on download mode is not recognized by windows, and on download mode, on device manager, its recognized as "USB composite device". Furthermore, I don't know if this have anything to do with the issue, but on the same day i tried to flash the rom, in the morning the phone was REALLY hot, even burning my hands, and not turning on, so i left it cool down and then it was working properly when i decided to flash the rom... Do you guys think there is any way to get my phone back working?:crying:
Thank you all for your time!
Are you positive you cannot enter recover. Try this. Hold the power button for 30 sec. Then hold volume down and the power button simultaneously until you see the lg logo. When you see the logo quickly let go of the buttons and reclick them immediately. It should go to factory reset screen. From there continue and you should boot into twrp.

Nope, doesn't work. The phone just keeps rebooting and after pressing both buttons gets stuck on the logo, or just turn the screen off and start blinking a red led...
what g2 model do you have? if you are in the screen of user b3 or user b4 and the word rooter with red color as you mentioned then you are in download mode, now if kdz is not working the other method you have is TOT method, if there is no tot files for your g2 variant try to uninstall and then reinstall the drivers and then try flash kdz again or also you can try with fastboot commands to return to recovery
Thank you so much! I found the TOT files and could save the phone, problem solved
