I had a V30a lollipop on lg g2 (D802). Last night I rooted my phone, installed autorec and then installed TWRP with it. Then I openned TWRP and wiped my data and flashed resurrection remix Rom. I rebooted my phone and it got stuck at lg logo. Now it connects to the computer as LGE Android MTP. There is:
No download mode
No recovery
I can see the device as MTP media and all the files present in my phone but I can't do anything else. The screen is black.
I found a solution online that involves capacitor trick and then installing partitions but the problem is that my version was v30a and i cant find any partitions regarding 30a. All the files that I could find belong to 10a or 10b.
Is there any way I can still bring my phone back to life? Thanx.
go to download Mode and Start the LG flash tool and flash the kdz, i hope this will fix it
also you can use the LG tool and use (on German Upgrade Fehler wiederherstellen)
So I ended up wiping my Lg Leon files because I was going to flash Cyanogenmod but now I can't flash it and I don't have an OS. What do I do?
lg support tool the 2014 version works for me every time just run the recovery mode in the options men
Hello everybody, I bought a G2 a while ago, the seller told me it's a D-802 (which the backplate tells also), i wanted to upgrade it to Lolipop using LG Support Mobile Tool, since the tool flash on it's own and I have limited knowledge of Android Flashing, I let LG Support Mobile Tool do the work, when it finished the screen went berzerk (not calibrated), I opend the backplate and it is written D-800. My friend succeded to enable USB Debugging, Root it, and install TWRP custom recovery, since i tghought that it is a problem with the Kernel, I installed Dormimanx LP kernel for D-800. now i'm stuck in "[870] Fastboot Mode Started". please heellpp :crying:
If your model is D802, you need install D802 rom and kernel. Go download mode then install stock rom or go twrp and install any rom you want via adb/otg...
TWRP works and download mode works but i can't install a D-800 rom with LG Flash tool V1.8 because it says that my model is a D-802 "Device model is different. Check phone or DLL"
So I somehow soft-bricked (I think) my d802 international LG G2 on CloudyG2 2.2. It displays the LG logo then 'Security Error', it loops when USB is entered. I have been able to enter Download Mode (however it keeps automatically initiating a Firmware Update staying at 0%).
I think what happened was, I was trying to flash the latest version of Xposed Frameworks, in order to do so I had to install TWRP, so I 'flashed' (presumably) TWRP using LGG2 AutoRec Lollipop, which I think made a backup before flashing, but when the phone switched off it is now somehow softbricked.
What would be the best steps to recover my phone? I was going to use 'LG Flashtoolnow' but I'm afraid that it will screw things up further because I'm on custom firmware. Is there anyway to retrieve data such as photos and videos if I have to flash to stock?
Any help would be great thanks.
Try using lg mobile support tool and perform an upgrade recovery.
I tried to perform an Upgrade Recovery, it tries upgrading the phone but after 2% says 'Upgrade stopped due to an error.' This is all while the screen is stuck at the 'Firmware Update' screen at 0%
Some updated information: Even if I want to flash to stock, is that easy after being on a custom firmware? Currently when I connect the phone during 'Download Mode' it automatically goes to 'Firmware Update' where it is stuck at 0% and says: USER B13 R00TED. I have a D802 international model I bought online (from Korea or Hong Kong, working fine in the UK) but I'm not sure what ROM to download, any help? http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2432476
I am currently using a TMO D801 LG G2 and received "Booting Error" below the LG logo and was then stuck in a boot loop. It happened to me after updating to Lollipop 5.0.2 and installing AutoRec.apk. This is the TWRP recovery program that you can install like any other app after rooting your LG G2. The cause for the problem is that I accidentally installed the AutoRec.apk for firmware's 4.x.x and not for Lollipop 5.0.x.
TO PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING DOWNLOAD & INSTALL '(D801) LG G2 AutoRec-Lollipop' FROM GOOGLE PLAY STORE :good:
The above is only for T-Mobile D801 Models
Fix Booting Error:
Download Load LG Flash Tool 2014 and run & install
Follow this tutorial Follow this tutorial: .KDZ Flash Method using LG Flash Tool 2014 and you will be back up in running.
