I was planning on building the zip with locked version of XZDR ... do you know if this will cause you problems? Seems like no, but I am not sure. Do you mind?

Well, I do not really know. But I will take the risk and try it. Thanks!

@alicewonde @HeFoUr
Okay fellas, here you go.
The zip was built using PRFCreator v1.0, SuperSU-v2.46, and XZDualRecovery v2.8.21 based on the C6903_14.6.A.0.368_1276-9897_R2D FTF downloaded via XperiFirm.
Honestly, I have no idea if the locked version of XZDR will work the same on unlocked bootloaders. Since SuperSU and XZDR are both flashed as well, /system should be rw mountable.
As always, I recommend a CLEAN flash; dirty flashes always seem to come back to bite you.
MEGA: https://mega.nz/#!UcAg3T7I!azl4CYVpg3bLeTzcUNSsBiPIDxJGHM0dgjE0KXcA8Uw
@alicewonde, if you have problems, let me know, we can try a version with the other XZDR. Okay, so I'm a little out of date. There is no different package for unlocked bootloaders - you should be fine!

How did you get Nordic variant already ? for C6903 like mine not out yet, everyone else is still waiting for it...
My bad i see, its NOT nordic, its something else... nothing implying its nordic, exept thread title. the package itself is not...
I think (not sure tho, you might be magician) but your phone isnt bought from nordic region thats why you got the central europe update or something...
nordic is still on the works, like translating etc...

Anyone knows how to check HW version? I save A, B in HW version columm.
In most Asia Country, we didn't have 402 update.
Bell Canada is also like 3 updates behind i dont have anything passed .55.
If Bell is going to screw over its customers as always with a locked bootloader the least they can do is be on point with the god damn updates.

Sell it and buy one with unlockable bootloader. All branded phones that rely on updates from providers will only get major updates and support stops almost always way earlier then the support from sony.

Why should he sell device?!
You can flash any Xperia device with flashtool.
He just need to download latest flashtool (v.16) and latest firmware (German or UK generic).
Install flashtool and flash new firmware...
There's no need to unlock bootloader just to have latest firmware...

I doubt so, 4.4.3 builds should have a different build number, unrelated to 4.4.2. I rather Sony takes their time to make their firmware right instead of rushing out crappy updates to beat the other manufacturers. I feel thats whats been happening to samsung lately. Theres just no consistency in the reliability of their updates anymore.

Updated (Generic Thailand). The only change I found is that Location toggle switch label is changed from "Lokasyon" (I think this word is in Tukish or Tagalog) to "ตำแหน่งที่ตั้ง"
Otherwise I haven't seen any change. Perhaps, It's just minor fixes due to language errors.

Changed from "Lokasyon" or changed to? Anyway, yeah Lokasyon or Lugar is the Tagalog counter part of Location here in the Philippines. Probably same as with Turkish.

As this firmware is released to Kuwait, i hope this has something to do with camera overheating. Sadly yeasterday itself i flashed german firmware to my z2. So can't test now.

[OTA ZIP] Brazil Retail XT1097 Soak File 22.21.11

Hi everyone,
This is the SOAK OTA that is being pushed for the Retail XT1097 in Brazil. To use this you have to be unrooted and on version 187.30.3. Installing it is simple enough, download it, get it on your phone, shutdown your phone and install it via STOCK RECOVERY. Clear cache once done (I got a bootloop when I didn' t do it).
No, I haven' t tested this on anything other than retail XT1097 phones in Brazil, so feel free to try it and , as always, don' t blame me if anything happens to your phone!
UPDATE:
Graffixnyc reminded me that he already had uploaded it to his website, so I am pointing the link there. Just go to the Brazil section and download it. Thanks man!

Unfortunately It wont work...I will have to wait!! damn it!! hahahahaha
So who is going to try this on a Telus phone? same model other than looks like their build ends with br instead of ca which I would guess is Brazil instead of Canada.
I also have the Brazilian OTA zip on my website

Hi everyone,
This is the SOAK OTA that is being pushed for the Retail XT1097 in Brazil. Installing it is simple enough, download it, get it on your phone, shutdown your phone and install it via STOCK RECOVERY. I' d not clearing cache once done (I got a bootloop when I didn' t do it). No, I haven' t tested this on anything other than retail XT1097 phones in Brazil, so feel free to try it and , as always, don' t blame me if anything happens to your phone! [/IMG]

Aren't we all... I think Telus is the last company we can expect to approve an update quickly.
I thought installing android 5 would improve my battery life but it didn't. I didn't clear data and cache.

I was just about to try doing it myself after repeated attempts to download the package from another thread. And this localized for my country, too.
Damn it. I still may end up having to do it on my own. Don't know why Mega is always giving me grief.

Download this http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3243769&d=1428103729, unzip it on your pc and run the .bat file.
Phone will reboot and you should be able to enter recovery by pressing volume down when the phone starts.
Is there any benefit of returning to your original model? I have a D6653 and been using the D6603 lollipop firmmwares since they came out....

I would say that if you have no issues with the version you're using right now, it shouldn't be much different if you switch. In fact, if you're happy with the way things are currently, you should be more worried about accidentally breaking something (if it's not broken, don't fix it and all that)). Then again, you can always flash back to your back-up if things go awry.
Anyway, I dirty flashed this over my previous installation and it looks like everything's as it should be, except for the screen off animation. Or is there really not supposed to be one? I was using Gravity Box for CRT off before but it seems like it had fade before that. Now my screen just... winks out.
Why dont u use recovery 2.8.10?

My firmware now works better than my previous (D6603) and I can tell the changes. With my new D6653 firmware, my issues were resolved:
- 'No Service' on the lock screen
- X-Reality automatically turns off
- Service Menu is crashing

I was having some issues with the 2.8.10, so I decided to use 2.8.7 instead (which works fine for me). Anyway you can always update the recovery anytime

Yeah, I thought so. It would have been unusual to just arbitrarily pick this region, haha.
What screen-off animation came with the firmware? Fade or no animation?

No animation, even when I used D6603 firmware before. There should be a mod for that, I don't know just how, yet

That's good then. I was worried something that it was a very minor nit in an otherwise perfect flash.
I'll just have to wait until we have Xposed/Gravity Box again for CRT Off/Fade (and quick unlocK).
Hi mates, Currently my version is 23.0.1.A.5.77 (D6653) and under 4.4.4 newly owned z3 2 days ago, just want to ask if safe to root? I have read about the DRM keys issue. If rooted, warranty will be voided?

Can anyone upload fỏr me the framework_res.apk on this rom ?
Hi
An hour ago I flashed the downloaded Customized PH. 726 from XperiFirm. My fault actually that I just visited XDA and checked out your post after I updated my Z3 D6653. How will I be able to install a recovery on this? I know the works and all but what I'm not certain is, is there a way to install recovery and root the device by not downgrading the OS? Because seriously that's a lot of work starting from downloading everything and flashing files afterwards. I'll wait for your response sir. Thanks and God Bless.

The thing is, there is no exploit yet to get root directly on lollipop. The only working exploit for root is by using giefroot, and sad to say, you need to downgrade your firmware for that.
That's so sad. I actually planned to root my Z3 yesterday while still on KitKat but suddenly Lollipop arrived at XperiFirm and I being excited to see what this version offers just jumped on the idea of updating mY device. Is there a link you can direct me to so I could root this thing? Seriously, finding some ways on Google is wearing me down these days.
