Bootlooped LG Spirit H440n
My phone was acting wonky, and a lot of apps were FC'ing. Low memory notification popped up, apparently there was 0B space left in the device. I decided a reboot was in order, but after rebooting, I don't boot into Android, it just cycles the LG bootanimation over and over. I can't access recovery or download mode, but can enter fastboot.
wat do ?
This was actually a really easily solved problem. It was as trivial as installing the common drivers found here . Apparently, if you do not have the drivers installed, it won't even boot into download mode, which is a weird solution.

Hello,
I rooted my phone using "recovery_twrp" and installed supersu, booted to recovery mode and wiped the dalvik and cache options. The phone keeps hanging at that moment, rebooted again to recovery and than installed the latest Cyanogen ROM. This installed succesfully and when the device booted it keeps displaying the Cyanogen logo and nothing else......
I can't enter recovery mode anymore, i tried the ADB but it cannot detect the device anymore.
I tried removing the battery but it didn't work.
what can I do? my phone is useless now...
I also tried holding down power and volume down, release when the logo appears and then again, power button 3 times nothing works. It keeps showing the Cyanogen circle. The LG Mobile Support Tool doesn't work either. The good USB driver are installed.
Hello everybody,
I'm having a problem : after failing to flash a rom with cmw on my F320S, i got stuck in bootloop : when i turn it on, i only have the LG logo with LED on. I can go to download mode, but then the phone isn't recognized anymore by my pc.
So i tried everything i could from this forum :
- with LG mobile support tool (from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476) : it says "upgrade is stopped because of an error". The phone is plugged with LG logo on, and as i said before if i go to download mode it keeps telling me to plug the phone.
- with flashtool v1.5 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2475045) : if i plug the phone and turn it on, it asks me to go to download mode. But then the phone isn't recognized, and it says "download failed".
- with lg mobile support tool (the official one), it says my phone is up to date, and if i try the recovery after error option, the download never starts (i left it all night long).
I also tried to reinstall the drivers, with no effect.
As i said i'm on F320S, so all i have for startup is normal boot (stuck on LG logo), download mode (not recognized by computer), and if i push all 3 buttons a strange korean menu (google translation says it's "external structural mode" or something like that).
So if anyone had an idea, a solution, well anything that could help, i would be very grateful.
Thanks you all!
Come on guys! 57 views, 0 answer!
If anyone could even give me an idea, a hint, something? Did i miss something? Or is it bricked forever? Thanks!
can you boot into recovery?
If you can. either do adb sideload or flash a custom rom
Nope can't load into recovery... And in download mode phone isn't recognized, that's the main problem i guess, otherwise i would flash back to stock
Hey i finally maanged to get into recovery. But factory reset doesn't seem to work (unknown volume "/sdcard/ .andoid_secure). Wipe data didn't fix bootloop. Adb says no device. So what can i do?
Well after a whole day trying to get adb to work, i finally ended connecting to my G2. I followed all the steps to install twrp from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2449670 . But now when i boot i don't have twrp, and if i push vol+ and power i don't have cwm either (says recovery mode, loading, and never loads)...
I guess i'm in trouble, could anyone help?
hello anyone?
So I was running CWM (Philz) I believe, and I had been running into issues while on rooted 4.2.2 D800 stock ROM. There were force closes and random reboots, etc. I've only installed xposed mods. I've also used android tuner to adjust some of the build.prop and kernel presets.
However, after my phone got stuck in what I thought was a boot loop, I finally got it up and running. What happened next was odd. I tried booting into recovery -> the "LG" splash screen showed up and it went into another infinite boot loop.
I'm assuming I somehow corrupted or lost my recovery. Any advice on what to do? I don't know if I should follow the original instructions for flashing a recovery here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2633150.
Edit: Jesus christ my phone infuriates and confuses the hell out of me. After attempting to enter the recovery again, I am now stuck in a permanent boot loop. The last time I fixed it was by turning my phone off....and then *WAITING*.
What? That doesn't make sense you say? Of course it doesn't. But that's still what worked. I waited 12 hours, and then tried turning it on again. When I did, oh look, the AT&T screen!
CONFUSING. help please...
Double edit (Hard Mode): Going into download mode when I'm in this constant bootloop = nothing happens. That little icon that says "Download Mode" with the 5 blue circles just stays there, and my laptop ends up not recognizing anything. This happened the last time too, and all I was able to see on my laptop was "QHSUSB_BULK". I thought this meant that I would have to do a complete wiping process through Linux (found on another thread somewhere), but apparently waiting 12 hours also fixed the problem.
[SOLVED] I managed to get into custom recovery and restore. Not sure why switching to ART gave me this problem in the first place. Thread can be closed/deleted.

I need help with what to do...
I have a VS980 LG G2 (Verizon) running TWRP 2.8.1.1 and CloudyG3 2.0. I switched from Davlik to ART. I know first boot is supposed to take 10-20 minutes and depends on how many apps you have installed (I have a decent number, but I don't think it's overboard), but I'm well beyond 20 minutes now. It's sitting at the LG logo screen (not even the "Android is upgrading apps" screen or whatever I was expecting) and feels warm like it's doing something. I can't use the Volume - and Power button combo to get into recovery, only to hard reboot the phone. The blue/green LED is blinking slowly like a normal boot would.
How can I get into recovery? Once I do, I'll know how to restore, but is there a way to connect it to my Windows laptop and sideload a ROM so I can reboot into recovery and restore? Any help would be appreciated. I'm good at following tutorials to do stuff, but not well versed in adb/fastboot stuff where I would know what to type in.
[Q] D802 hard bricked after wiping & flashing TWRP, no recovery, stuck in boot loop
TL;DR: Wanted to install CM12.1, wiped everything except Internal Storage from TWRP, flashed new version of TWRP (3.0.0-0), hard bricked my D802 (stuck in LG logo, can't get into recovery mode)
ISSUE: My LG G2 is stuck in a boot loop. Only the LG logo is displayed and when I try to turn off the phone by holding down the power button, it will blank out for a few seconds and then display the LG logo again. I tried accessing recovery mode via the hardware buttons and it takes me to the factory reset screen, and after I do press the power button twice it just takes me to a blank screen. I can get the phone into download mode, although my Windows machine doesn't recognize the phone even though its drivers are installed.
I am currently trying this guide. Although I'm not sure what KDZ/TOT to download for my phone :/
All the important files on my phone like photos and contacts are stored in the cloud so I can basically reset the phone to its factory state, if it comes to that.
If someone could help me with a guide or anything that can lead me into the right steps for fixing the phone, I would be really thankful.

Then I don't think what just happened with me is a coincidence, hmmmmmm
Does't anybody have an idea for a solution other than using KDZ? something like flashing the bootstack or recovery through PC?

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHEY
I just got something:
So after using this tool http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/development/tools-srk-tool-useful-toos-lg-root-twrp-t3079076
I got my phone to boot to recovery, I used Unbrick to get my phone working again, now the only thing left is to get phone to actually boot to ROM
Anybody got a solution? Should I just reflash the ROM?
Update 2: I re-flashed the ROM, wiped cache and fixed permissions, still waiting for it to boot, I don't know, I think you're better off just backing up the ROM, clean install and then restore apps using TB from the nandroid backup
Final update: yup, clean flash it is
I hope this has helped
