Problem with Volume Button, Software or Hardware?

Hello! Got a problem with my Galaxy S 4. Removed T-Mobile brand, flashed the stock ROM MH5 and unlocked the device by code.
Do not know if the problem existed before, at least following phenomenon occurs: after a certain time (depending on how long the battery was out - more on that below) the volume down button no longer responds - initially Vol button respnds normally, suddenly the volume turns down and I can only press volume up, volume down does not respond anymore - when I reboot the device, it always boots in the mode where I can push vol up to install a custom Rom or volume down for restart - but neither Vol up nor Vol down respond. If I restart the device with volume up + Home + Power button, I can not get into recovery but in Safe Mode.
Only when I take out the battery and wait (approx half an hour), the unit boots normally and the error occurs again after some time...
I also made a factory reset - no success. Somebody knows this phenomenon? Thank you.

Try replacing the battery with a different one then see if it works. if not do this:
Download the stock MH5 ROM from SAMMOBILE
Open Odin
Flash this ROM with Odin
make sure that only Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time are the only options ticked
I personally havent had this problem but it might help
EDIT: This sounds like a software issue but if it keeps happening it may infact be a hardware issue with the device itself

Thanks, but I already flashed Stock MH5 and now MH7 T-Mobile branded - when the device is off for about an hour, the S4 boots normally and the Volume up and down works fine, two minutes later Vol down doesn´t respond anymore...it´s weird

I still don´t belive it - tried the battery from a mate´s S4 - mine works fine again, no Vol button errors or startup problems...can somebody explain this to me...crazy ****...

Power Off Problem

Hlw devs,What's up everyone?
I am facing a problem for last few month.I use Samsung galaxy grand prime (SM-G530H) Lollipop 5.0.1.
When I power off my mobile,it vibrates continuously in a short (8-10sec) break & i cant even power on it by pressing power button .it vibrates & vibrates .I can turn on my device if I connect it to charger .
If my mobile shut down when i am outside of home ....I have no way man.
Kindly help me experts.

Samsung S5 Plus SM-G901F BOE1 5.0.2 Downgrade to ANH/ANK4 4.4.4 Problem

I got my screen stuck in 5.0.2 every 2 sec. And needed to press power button 2 times to lock and unlock the screen to refresh it then it will happen again and again. So i tried to downgrade to 4.4.4 it runs smoothly but i got the stuck image(dead pixel on whole screen) on booting in samsung logo the 1st one. The one without bacground sound. It stuck on screen until it boot in home screen and needed to press power button 2 times to lock and unlock the screen then its ok. But sometimes when i press the power button instead if locking home screen it will restart the phone. Please help me. Thnx

Phone Dead? Help!!!! SM-928F

Hi,
got a huge Problem...
My s6 wont turn on. When pressing power button it turns on shows s6 edge logo and turns off.
I tried Kies 3 firmware initialization, installed successful but same prob, i tried via Odin...same.
I tried Recovery menu wipe cache and Factory Reset.
When pressing Power + Volume Down after couple of reboots white LED keeps constantly on.
Can Someone Help me ?
I just removed Sim Card and the Problem occurd on reboot.

Try reflashing the firmware from samobile.

Problems after firmware updte through kies

Hi Guys, I'm using Grand 2 SM-G7102 and after i update my firmware through Kies my phone is lagging. When i boot into recovery it take about 30 mins to an hours with a blue writing on the top saying recovery is booting.
i factory rest it and waiting for another hour for the phone to boot up, my touch which was working before the update wont work anymore but the volume keys, home button and power button are working but the wont work.
please help.
