Trying to figure out a way to make Viper work with Pandora. It works fine with Play Music, I assume it would also with Spotify but I bought a 6mo pandora for good price and enjoy it but viper won't work with pandora unless there is some trick to it.
Anyone knows?

If that doesn't work then I would inquire in viper thread. I use a modded Pandora. Doesn't work for it either. don't know if stock Pandora works once viper is setup. Viper4android works for Apollo player and play music. Those are all I really use.
No go.. No effect on Pandora :/ I did reboot also of course selinux is set to permissive.

On note4 I used this app headphone equalizer and it indeed does work with Pandora. I guess I have to use both.

So far only using other eq all worked for Pandora any other suggestions? Google doesn't have many ppl asking for it, maybe 3rd party player for Pandora?

Maybe. There must be audio config files that can be modified to raise stock levels haven't tried researching that yet. Maybe this weekend.

That would be pretty sweet sorry if I am asking for to much
@jmileti went back to normal mode.. it works for few seconds in pandora then stops working. Now I would wish to know how make it work at all times under normal mode then I would be super super happy.

You know other option which I think is better is maybe a kernel will have sound mod built in. Just a matter of time before one is built. Then all this will be easier. Maybe a rom with modded audio configs too.

Has anyone thought of switching the stock music players with the google music player? i feel it would make the more aosp roms seem more authentic.

A word of warning, it does not work on rooted phones. You'll know it's not working for you when you can't access the "Settings" menu.
I went to stock and the music streaming works surprisingly well.

Mine too. Got my invite the other day. Takes FOREVER to upload songs - and you can only upload from your PC, not the phone. It duplicated the tunes I already had copied over, so that's not too cool. Works pretty well other than that.
EDIT: nvm, works fine for me on midNIGHT rom v5.3! Had to uninstall and reinstall and then I was able to view "settings."

Got an invite last week. Aside from the agonizingly long amount of time it takes to upload my music library, it works awesomely. Also, I am rooted (running SRF 1.1.1).
works great for me; i'm rooted on the Swiss Cheese. I wish the app didn't have such a big footprint.

Works fine on mine rooted as well. I love it. It did take like two days to upload like 2500 songs, but then I got like 200 free random songs for joining which was awesome. I'm on the Anonymous ROM v6 on EE03 and it works great. Why would a google "beta" not work on a rooted device. Then everyone at the developer conference would be out of luck I guess. Haha

I received my invite today (applied using a proxy). I've installed the PC software but can't get gge app to download. The link in the music player takes me to the market but the install button doesn't do anything. Does anyone know where I can get the apk?

Audio master pro in my opinion is the best equalizer, yea, its not free but well worth the 2 dollars.

@Lycan: yes, they conflict with dsp, but who cares, I've deleted it
beats audio + poweramp with his built-in eq does the job very well
Volume+, I've been using it since mik's cm7,poweramp is second to that....volume + also allows you to change the sound of call voice by editing a line in build.prop

Today's update must have added support. It didn't work previously on my N8000 so I'm guessing it didn't work on any Note. Apologies if this isn't news.

I installed this while unrooted and it worked. I then rooted and it still worked.
What's weird is that I can't use it on the same tablet running CM10.

It appears to work but actually streaming video does not. I have no ad blocking software installed and it stops after the ads in the begining.

I forgot where I got this from, somewhere on XDA, This is an older modded version that works for me
This is pulled from a backup with rom toolbox

Believe the only way is through the browser by a hack flash player until Hulu update it for compatibility on our device.

Curious, I tried both of these, but they won't install. I get the screen to install, but nothing happens when I hit the "Install" button. The "Cancel" button works fine. BTW, I do have the "Unknown Sources" checked... I am not rooted, but that shouldn't matter? I'm wondering why I can't install an APK???

That is pretty odd, but not being rooted, you shouldn't have any issues with the unmodded hulu app in the first place. It is still weird that it doesn't want to install though, have you tried restarting your device?

The stock Hulu app plays ads just fine, but it won't play the actual video. I've tried everything I could think of, including re-starting numerous times.
Stock version was updated tonight and now works. I too was just able to view the ads only, but now everything works! Yay!!

I can also confirm that the Stock version is now working. I can watch TV shows instead of just ADs. Previously mine only played ads.

Yep working also on my note 10.1. About time they fixed it. I complained to the support a while ago. I used the hulu. App constantly when I had the prime and infinity.

Im using The Sony Music APP .. Search for it on xda
Eleven, the default CM music player.
Don't really feel the need for another one.
I prefer to use the google music app. Although I use Spotify more often than music on my phone

Hi, newbie here so it's probably a stupid question: where did you find / how did you install the CM Audioplayer? (I'm a happy owner of a Zuk Z1 but I'm a little bit lost here)
Edit: found the apk here, installed it, seems to work so far, not sure why it was on a Moto G thread but, hey, I'm unsure about a lot of things

I assume you've restarted the phone a few times, turned off blutooth, etc?

Bluetooth is turned off. The problem persists.
how about "quiet time" settings? nothing making the phone "be quiet"??

sounds like might be related to Bluetooth or a setting within, by chance can it have anything to do with the slider switch on side of the phone ?

I had this when playing streaming radio in VLC for the first time. I was connected to my car's bluetooth.
I ended up switching the Audio Output mode in VLC from AudioTrack to OpenSL ES.
I don't know if that was the fix, and I haven't switched it back, but shortly after I did that, it started working.
Is there any TWRP Flashable rom that I can re-flash to see if the problem is there or gone ?
Youtube, audio player, Amazon music nothing seems to be working.
