Issues with Korean Models used overseas

Hi guys just purchased the LG G3 f400k and noticed that there are issues with the smart notice feature whilst used out of Korea. I noticed it uses ''Kweather'' as a weather supplier (Im guessing this is Korean) as apposed to Accuweather like the international model. When the korean model is used overseas, ive noticed this with a few models the smart notice feature does not work at all.. weather alerts will not pop up or anything about your location. It displays the weather however but wont warn you about about alert cards or anything except that your battery is low. Minor issue but just letting people know who decide to buy the Korean model over the International model. Anyone else with this issue?

Not too sure on this one. I am using the F400S on AT&T, and smart notice weather cards are working fine for me... (also joined to kweather, and not accuweather). Warned me that tonight might get chilly and rain... suggested I dress for it. (Thanks G3 )

Yeah me too, I cant add location as it says its already added but is not visible and when trying automatic search it say cant add ... So wanted to use the smart notice. Let see if anything can be done in this regards please share

There you go I wasn't crazy. I sold my korean version and will be buying the international version.. it also has call waiting which the Korean models don't have.. and display has improved apparently. .

I have the f400k and have a option to put the call on hold. In the menu, there is a option to add a caller. Isn't that call waiting.

Recently, many users began to disappear a few switches in the quick switches, namely "Mobile daniye", "Private mode" and "Mobile hotspot Wi-Fi".
Appendix S6 Quick Panel Restore will fix it and return all the missing switches.
Manual:
1. Download file S6QuickPanelRestore.apk
2. Run the S6QuickPanelRestore
3. Click on the button

There is talk that the official Samsung patch actually has code from somebody else.

I have a problem after installing this apk. I do not know if this is apk related incident that is y i am sharing this to be able to found a solution to my problem. Story: i bought a galaxy s6 in rome italy, it says in the brochure that the regional lock will be open if you call at least 5mins in region where you bought the phone. Then after a month and after i consumed the said requirement i travel to the philippines. I was able to use the local philippine sim for almost a month now until i encounter the missing toggle, i install your apk to restore the notification toggle. After few days my phone ran out of battery and when i open it again it says that the sim is invalid and is asking me for the network pin to unlock. Thus, any idea? Need help and professional advice.

I want to know how can I see a clock, or answer a call without open the case.

I have the same problem.
My case is not Nillkin's but original (?) Zuk, but it lack usefullnes of case window, either.
All that is possible - after last OTA update - opening the case activates the screen and vice versa. Before update even this functionality did not work or worked randomly.
No possibility to obtain clock view or answer the phone like it is advertised.
In my old LG there is option to activate this funcion in Android settings. There is none in Cyanogen in ZUK.
So it propably does not work in Cyanogen (yet??), maybe it's active in ZUI.
Unless someone else knows how to resolve this issue ...

I just received the Nilikin case - and the cool Clock Lockscreen doesn't work! WTF?
How can this be solved... is there a Clock app that we can download or soemthing?

I think the only way to operate the quick cover (which is not natively supported by cyanogen) and install an app called Watch maker Live wallpaper .. that way put a clock as background circular & centers with your quick cover!

That is what I heard. On the official ZUKstore people asked the same question under the original flip case, the official reply was something like "we will post a how-to-guide on our homepage".
So far I have not noticed anything, but should be in development. I hope. If anyone gets it to work with CyanogenOS, please tell us how. Thank you!

I,ve asked on: zukmobile.cc a couple of days ago, after their earlier standard info meaning "sure it works".
The answer was this time: "We will release the guide on our website,please check our website"
So there might be a chance of a system update.

I was going to say that! I've started a home screen page with a wallpaper and clock I made. If anyone gets the app I've hundreds of watchfaces from all makes. I got and made off watchmaker. They are ideal for this. As you can use any wallpaper and "clock". It is a con though. Wonder if it's a Chinese function.
If anyone wants a particular watch I'll post a Dropbox link for them.

Well, i found these apps: anymode circle app, and Zview. These are apps for other cases which use the round smart window. However, to activate them you need a key provided with an actual case. So if anyone bought a case from these guys and is willing to share....who knows, we might have a workgin smart case.

I got in touch with one of the official Nillkin sellers and this is his answer:

My guess is in ZUI version there is an option for smart view. If anyone can confirm, it would be great. In cyanogen there is no such thing

I can't confirm that it's working. I tried both flip cases with and without window. I also checked the smart cover option in zui settings. It's not working. Shame on zuk. BTW I'm using zui 3.1.194st.

HD2 - useful as a time lapse camera?

I just found my old HD2, didn't use it since 2014. Connected to USB, it did some boot loops, but finally booted to some type of mobile Windows 7 (or 8).
It works surprisingly ok. However, I can't connect to the "Marketplace". Does it even still exist? I haven't looked into manually installing apps (or if that's possible)
Is it still useful for anything? I need a time lapse camera for taking images (photo or video) at a rate of 1/Minute (possibly with flash).
If not in WM, I wonder if any O/S can work for that?

Windows Marketplace doesn't work on Windows 8.1 and below
You couldn't install Windows Phone 8 because it's not available for HD2 for all people
If you're unlocked, you can install apps with an .xap extension

WP8 is available for the HTC HD2 but is not available for regular people

Yes I read the two threads Coutulla posted in talking about it. From my understanding , it was buggy as hell , not usable and just a proof of concept where they were doing it for fun and then got scared to use microsoft RT saying it would be piracy

I watched some videos on Youtube and I would like to know how to enable this really useful function called call recording or "recording" while calling with someone.
does anyone has an experience with dealing with this and solved it?
I am beginner and I don't know what to do
and I found this website because of him.
(I tried to change CSC code to SEK, that was succesful, but the option with recording is still not there)
I appreciate any kind of help.

After spending some time installing various localizations for the A40, I believe that the call recording feature was never implemented for this model. The setting never showed up for me, even in the SEK localization I tried. Since this phone had a very limited release in only a few countries, I think they excluded the call recording feature.

Yeah yeah.. well you might believe whatever you want. I tried it on my own.
I think it would take ages till someone would tell me what to do and how properly it should be done.
I do not really think that it is not worthy for anyone to spend time here helping someone how to really record calls for whatever reason. In case that someone would be ambushed or attacked verbally through the calls then I have a solution. It helped me. It must help others too. I don't know how about other mobiles but it works for me.

EVERY smart mobile has the option to record calls but due to laws and EU there are some restrictions that do not allow this, but has is that possible that some mobiles HAVE the option to record ?
It is because of the ****ing firmware and countries. That is my answer.

- you have to find your precise model - mine is SM-A405FN
So I had to came here - https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-A405FN
Look which counties allow call recording and the only option I had on this website was SEK - UKRAINE

Then, you can use either ODIN or SamFW (samfw is better from what i heard)
from one of the links I posted here - look how to get into bootloader - use the downloaded SEK firmware into either SamFW or ODIN. And then make sure u use AP, BL, CP, CSC_ODM
do NOT use ( HOME_CSC_ODM )
if you fu .ck it up by doing something different you risk your mobile therefore you brick it forever.
