Help Needed - Putting the atrix back to stock

Hey guys, i've modded my atrix a fair bit, and its a tad lagy, nothing like it was when i first got it...
i've got a few roms installed (eg gingerblur rom)
How do i put the phone back to stock how it was when i got it (motoblur ect)
(keeping the unlocked and rooted..)
if you can help could you share a link ect n some tips...

it did but i had modified my phone before ginger blur...

Just flash SBF 1.2.6. That's the version it was shipped with.

no launcher need help

hi guys. my milestone 2 started to give me a problem with process android.acore or something like that. i tried to uninstall launcher pro and forgot to defreeze the default launcher.
now i dont have launcher and cant use phone how can i do? help plx urgent

I think the only way out of that is to flash stock firmware with rsd lite. You can find a guide in the development forums, a sticky has a round up of all the faqs guides roms etc, you can find it there .
I am also assuming you do not have a nandroid backup, but if you do, restoring that would fix it.

hey dude thx for your fast reply! lucky i`ve solved , i reached root uninstaller pro and defrized the home launcher, dont know how !
ill do a backup now !

Well that's pretty nifty then, do you know how you got the program open? Certainly much better than starting again with fresh firmware!

Moto Defy Hangs

Hi,
I am using Motorola defy android version 2.2.2.
Currently m facing one problem, my phone hangs everytime when i open Data Manger option from Settings. It hangs in a way that the only options remain for me is to remove the battery and start again.
Please help me with this.. Due to this issue i can switch ON or Off my internet option.

Stock sucks hard. A lot of problems.

Backup Data and factory reset.
I think, the settings were corrupt. so every time you try to change, the settings crashes.

Backup and flash with your factory ROM
Hi,
The best option for you to do is to Backup all the SMS, Contacts and Application data and then flash your phone with the factory build ROM that came in with your DEFY.
Here is the list of ROMS for Defy variants---http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=966537
Go through this link and get your ROM do a MD5 check to double check if the downloaded version is correct. Then flash your phone with that ROM. By doing this you would have the warranty of ur device intact (If your defy is still within the warranty period).:good:
Then finally restore all your backups. :angel:
You may be tempted to upgrade your ROM to the newest SBF like ICS or JellyBeans. while doing so please make sure that that particular SBF is fixed SBF and not full SBF. the difference btwn the 2 is. Fixed SBF allows you to downgrade your DEFY but full SBF only lets you upgrade the version but never downgrade.
If you can understand this then go ahead and search for that perfect match for your DEFY.

I need help big time. I had CM 10 running on my defy no probs at all. I tried a stupid thing to back to a stock rom and now I cant get back to install CM 7 or CM10.
I even had my battery die during the process and had to do the Mcgyver trick and it worked. I live in the UK and tried the british retail and vodafone roms and both caused the defy to die and not respond / power up, anything..
The only rom I have found so far to work is JORDN_U3_97.21.51.sbf. it works,. Then I can install 2nd init and root with Super one click. Though after I do that and try to install CM7, 10 I just get black screen and white LED.
Help.
Can someone walk me through the process again and provide links to files

Make sure that when you flash cm7, you flash the one for you kernel(froyo or gb). Also wipe data after flashing.

You can try THIS. Another user had the same problem as you and he got his defy running after following that guide.

stefa_vr6 you sir are a genius. This was exactly what I wanted. I flashed the rom in your post, rooted and installed 2nd init and fom there flashed CM10. So now up and running again.
Have a case of virtual beer on me sir.
My only other problem is now that I probably need a new battery as I had to do the battery hack as my phone died during an earlier update and is displaying " ?" in the battery display.

[Q] unable to install MIUI

Hello friends,
I have installed custom ROMs many times before... I have tried MIUI, cyanogenmod 9, etc...
But, before few days my phone had stuck at the boot logo, so I flashed it using the SBF- JRDNEM_U3_3.4.3-36-1.7
my phone is Motorola Defy (green lense) MB525...
Now, when I am trying to install MIUI or WIUI , it is showing installation complete,
but, after rebooting the system it is booting in my Normal FROYO only...
How can I install MIUI on my phone again now????

What the.. unbelievable.. Ok then try a newer 2ndinit apk and check the installation zip files. Is the problem limited to miui or does it happen with ANY ROM?

change the sbf version... try to flash other sbf
I also have defy green, I am on fixed GB sbf and its is working perfectly...... you also can try this

Actually, this time I was using "tenfar recovery" on my friends suggestion... I think there was some problem with that...
Now, after flashing my defy I installed the newer version of "2nd init recovery"...
And MIUI is running well on my defy now...
