Hi im looking to root my S4, and it's a Korean version Samsung Galaxy S4 lte 8 Octa Core Exynos 5 E300 32GB... right do i use any root or is there specific root for this model ? please let me know.. Thanks in Advance People...

Samsung S5 SM-G900H Unlocking help

I have Samsung S5 SM-G900H for unlock is there any root file exist and RegionLock away will work ?

Currently there are some untested releases for recovery but unfortunately no root has been released yet.

Oh boy what have u done ? your fone probably hardbricked. F is Snapdragon and H is Exynos. Those two cant be the same. U need to bring it to service center.

there is no G900F on Octoplus Box there is only G900H.

I have a galaxy s5 g900m, I want to know if is possible to use custom rom galaxy s5 g900f, both have the same hardware, well that's what i found on the internet, the international G900F is LTE and LTE-G900M is A, but may also use custom rom on galaxy s4 almost i9505 and model i337m

I think: The customs ROMs (firmwares) without bootloader is possible. But if you use ODIN, and try to flash a Stock ROM G900F at G900M the result is FAIL...
Is this correct?? Anyone?

That exact same thought, if I use a stock rom on my g900m g900f using odin, I will obtain what is error (fail) but in case of a custom rom? and read the G900i and g900t are using and what algunso report minor errors or lag (I think I could make do with a wipe) but for g900m what anyone said anything, but I assume that it may ... and not about the kernel? and the modem? if the modem could understand because they use the same hardware .... any answers?

I just flashed shohat rom v3 and ael kernel v1 on my g900m. So seems to be fine. ymmv though.

You reckon it will apply to all Snapdragon LTE models of the GS5?
In Australia it appears that they only have the SM-G900i model, so I am wondering if it is worth the hassle to specifically get the F model.

You should be fine. Only thing is if your carrier locks boot loader. I've seen ROMs that say they are for the I variant, but if it's Snapdragon it should be fine.

On other dévices i had, all phones were on same xda Group forum but on s5 it doesnt seem the case.

It only has the different carrier variants, so att, sprint, tmo, and Verizon. The g900m and the g900f are international so this forum would apply to them, as well as any other non-carrier specific s5 model.

Rom, recovery, kernel (im not sure about this one but with a before hand backup i can try)
Im interesed in oficial cm13 from cyanongemod web page but there Isnt for g900m but yes for g900f,
Should i be good flashing g900f cm13 build right?

No idea about cm, you should be good with the other roms if it lists your model as compatible, even if it doesn't it still may be, I'd wait for someone else to answer on the cm dealio.

Problem with downlaod mode SM-G900F

Hello everyone today i bought a brand new samsung galaxy s5 model number G900F, i wanted to install custom recovery but when i put the phone into the download mode i found it in the korean language and it says the model number is G900L i got confused. So my question is it ok to install the g900f stuff to it ? or do i need a g900l stuff for it ?

Phone is G900L if that's what it says in download mode, only install G900L ROMs to it

Thats weird , everything else says its g900f even the box it self and all the benchmarking tools etc. How is that possible?

Because stickers, boxes etc can be changed, and model number in the ROM can be faked, but download mode can not be changed, which is why you always check download mode if you are not sure
G900F is the most popular model S5, we see many people with your exact problem here where people have faked the phone to show as G900F to sell more of them / easier / quicker
Nothing on the phone is G900F, not even the ROM, just the info has been faked, you need to flash G900L

Is the G900L supported like the g900f ? Is it common and easy to find roms , kernals , etc like the g900f? Should i return it to the retailer? Sorry im asking alot of questions

You'll find all your answers by reading the ROM, Kernel etc threads for supported devices
If you paid for a G900F, I would return it and demand a G900F
