yeah that gallery on note 2 is pretty awesome maybe when the official jelly bean comes it will have that new gallery
else some dev here will surely port it

Lol. When note 2 firmware is available simply extract the apk. It should work since s3 is using the same framework

It is not the Note 2, N700 is the first note, I think it's an update.

i hope samsung will add this gallery to the jelly bean update

Checked over at the Note forums. Somebody requested it there as well. The firmware update was released today so surely someone can post the .apk soon.

I hope that one day we will have the same management of pictures/gallery than CM10 on Sammy build... It is so nice to pass from cam to gallery app without any transitions...

no worries you can try using the aosp camera mod side by side with sammy camera.. goodness of both the world in one place even if the aosp camera 1.53 dosent work , it surely will work in the future

Or you can try Camera JB+ app from market if you are on any JB leak.

Kitkat Dialer

Anyone actually been able to install the Google Dialer (Kitkat) on their note 3?
I've tried the apk in system/priv-app and set permissions to 644 but it only forcecloses on me..
If I install the app it works but understandably I cannot make calls.

Me too, so tired of the Samsung one and all the other 3rd party dialers. Android police do have an article describing that it should work on most phones by pushing to priv-app and setting permissions, but no luck here. I'm getting it to work by installing normally but no calls then.. And no point..

Nope I am using it on Temasek V36 (CM11 based rom) and it is working like charm. You just need to be carefull that you don't flash it on a clean install because than it gives you fcs...

Ah, ok. Probably works better there yes due to aosp framework. Hope someone has a solution for a tw rom. I can't use cm until it's completely stable, but using most of the stock gapps besides the dialer.. (for now ?)

Oh, I use temasek's builds on my i9300 and nexus 7, but cannot use it on my note 3, because there is no support SM-N900 by CyanogenMod. It's so sad.

Well, actually it is already almost perfect. The only bug I could find is that sound sometimes gets distorted if you have touch sound enabled. And through Temaseks great work on his rom and kernel, battery life is not anymore a problem...

Request for a htc sense based rom for s4 i9500

Hey guys......i was wondering if anyone could port an htc rom...not by just replacing cm apps with htc ones but a complete sense based rom for our i9500....sense based roms are really good both in visuals and in performance.......if its possible then please can anyone take up the initiative..?

I dnt knw if u have noticed or not but those roms are for i9505 not i9500. They are for the snapdragon variant and not the exynos which is i9500. If there is actually any sense based rom den please feel free to share or provide the link please....

The only possible thing is to port Xperia UI using CM as base, thanks to nilac and Sony Community.
However, who will build unofficial one for our device? :silly:

You can ask other devs for help.....i mean our i9500 has so many roms but most of them are touchwiz based....so it would be nice to have a rom with a complete new ui like the sense roms or xperia roms...
