Buy one from Verizon or on Ebay.
It's a totally different device. You can't turn a normal G900V into a Dev Edition one.

Thank you!!! I was told by someone that it works on Verizon GS5
Are there any custom kernels for TW 4.4.4 for the G900V? Only one I've seen was the ktoonsez but it's only for the dev version?
You won't because we have a locked bootloader.
Got ya! Wasn't sure if that was the reason or not. Thanks.

Not the same thing as the OP was asking about a kernel not a ROM.
Hello guys. I'm new with android, but I figured out many things. Recently I found some Russian guide which says that I can install any G900F custom ROM wits SS support at my G900V. So I am wondering if it's true?

I am on OptimalRom 15-5 (it's OG5 based). But I have some issues, so I was thinkibg about some international rom if it possible.
Normally you can't use custom rom with SS, only TW rom. If they said you could, maybe it's not a custom rom, but tweak TW rom. It's not possible to run custom rom with locked bootloader device.

No, G900F and G900V are not the same, you need to find a G900F TW rom that the dev said it's working for your your G900V, which I don't see any.

Since the bootloader is locked, you can only install custom ROMs based on stock Samsung ROMs using safestrap. Cwm, twrp, cm ROMs, and aosp ROMs cannot be installed.
thanks

Can anyone build or port this to the s7
Jrkruse just posted an Oreo ROM in the Verizon development section and it has safestrap built in. It is not as simple to use as normal safestrap but it is definitely better than nothing.
He is also using a different binary than current stock Sprint phones. If\when it happens, it may only work on older firmwares
