In the Xposed thread you can find tutorials how to do it. I would just flash a custom rom. Way easier.
Yup i did that now lol

[q] [q&a] aroma & gapps are prerequisite during installation of any custom roms?
Hi guys,
I just recently rooted my GN3 N9005 4.4.2 NB5. Ive been searching my concern here in xda and on the web, however, I wasnt able to find it the answer.
Question, once rooted. is it NECESSARY to install AROMA INSTALLER first and GAPPS before installing the custom ROM via CWM recovery?
If yes, can you guys direct me to a COMPLETE guide?
PLEASE help me out... thank you in advance.

Aroma installer is just a installer inside a rom which lets you choose between different stuff like kernels which apps to keep or delete.
Gapps are only needed for AOSP/CM ROMS , Touchwiz roms dont need gapps. Whichever rom needs gapps has a link included in its thread. Check out the android development and see the procedures posted per rom.

No need them as long as you have cwm or other custom recoveries such as twrp and philz. Aroma is included in the rom itself if the rom developer decides to put it in while gappps is normally is needed with google base rom such as cyanogenmod.
Edit:Fahadali beats me
Thanks a lot guys for a quick response.
THANK YOU:good:

Don't know about the custom recovery, but I can confirm that xposed framework works fine. I am using gravitybox and youtube adblocks and some other minor fixes. I am running KitKat 4.4.3, so the firmware is 1.0.3.61a. Not sure about the Lollipop version (which is already out in Russia)

Yotaphone 1 or 2? if it's Yota 1, there is no way to reinstall the firmware. They provide a rar file which cannot even be used to sideload via adb. I had to swap a newly bought phone citing all the wrong reasons since I f*cked up the stock firmware. Still due in receiving the replaced phone.
Temp. rooting with gandalf exploit is possible using framaroot.

Achyut.
Guys is there any way to install xposed on lollipop s5 ?
From what I've read, the only way (at the moment) is to install the framework through (custom) recovery......
With KitKat, it was possible to install as an app.
Also bear in mind that not all the modules are ready for use with lollipop......

No there is no way to "install" it. You will have to modify core system files and then make a flashable zip and then maybe it will work after installing the app, but it's in extreme alpha mode and i would advice you to not try and make it work based on the "help plz" title even though bootloop is the worst thing that can happen while trying to make xposed work.
Ya there is a way to install for sure via custom recovery
Luckily i have xposed frmawork pre installed on the current custom rom um using
Thx for your frank answer : D

Yup thanks mate.i guess am going to wait for rovo to find a solution for this issue.
Yeah....that's the main reason I'm sticking with KitKat for now.....xposed compatibility......

Hi I really want to install xposed on my galaxy s4 but it requires deodexed firmware .
There aren't very many options for lollipop custom rooms for my android model : jfltecan
I was wondering if someone wouldn't mind deodexing the stock firmware for me or provide some wlkthrough instructions.
I'd appreciate it a Lot.

I don't think you need to deodex anymore.

Unfortunately that xposed link is only for 5.1/6.0. The latest stock ROM for the S4 is Android 5.0.1

I've used townsenk's method on my S4 i9505 ROM before, back when I was on stock. Doesn't require a factory reset.
Here's the link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/sprint-galaxy-s5/general/how-to-deodex-lollipop-rom-t3065596
If you run into any troubles or want to undo the deodexing process, simply use Odin to flash back the stock firmware (to download stock firmware, use either the sammobile website or the SamFirm tool).
For 5.0.x odexed use this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65373013&postcount=3960
works without deodexed.

Here you go

Im on stock 5.0.1 too but deodexed.
Just flash the zip and install xposed app.
I recommend for a device backup before flashing.
