So I'm thinking about getting one from gearbest EU warehouse and guessing it won't come with a UK charger, what's the best way to charge without having multiple converters?
Would the phone run alright on three network?
Has anyone had one from them?

yes you get all the oneplus charging contents usb c cable oneplus foreign charger block plus another socket to uk socket.
it only took 5 days to arrive via courier. i was able to check online the progress of where the parcel was. the company they used was called oneworld which i had to find on my own with a quick google search.
the only issue i have had today is setting it up LOL. the phone wont OTA update so i have spent the day trying to figure all that out and seeing as my last phone was the moto g 1st gen iv found it all a bit much for my first day but hopefully i will get into the swings of things. i have never rooted a phone before so any help would be appreciated. iv installed the updates manually by finding links on the web but my question is this, is the phone already rooted as it is the chinese A2001 MODEL. If its not will my updates have to be installed again if i root it?
also can someone give me a link to a easy guide for help please?

I can't help you with the phone specifically as I don't have it. Trying to work out if I'm getting this or the new nexus
Root is usually pretty simple, just a flash jver adb for recovery and then flash SuperSU or something
i want one two. So if you order from the EU warehouse, do you have to pay customs charges to UK and does it come with a UK plug. Thanks

No you shouldn't as it is coming from within the EU. I would be more worried about the lte support in the UK it might not support band 20 which is o2 / vodafone

My guess is that he is in Great Britain as the ebay listing is in GBP.....
Location
Correct UK, This is a UK English Shift.....
As it turns out I was already watching this in My Ebay before I saw the thread. Sadly as stated previously though, only shipping to UK.
Best of luck in selling.
really need one, just lost my x7500 today..
please let me know if u can ship it to Canada, thx
International
Buy it now and as long as your paypal address is certified i'll ship it to canada.
We may need to adjust the postage (I've stated £18 in UK, i think it'll be at least double that to canada)
maybe i just bid on it? thx
I am international attorney and have interest. Would you consider shipping to USA? (At my expense of course) Please advise on USD price if this is possibility. Also advise as to whether swaps or trades would be in order as feasible alternatives (e.g. I have 3 HTC TILT (Sprint-compatible) phones I would be willing to part with or augment within such a transaction.
SORRY!!!!
It's sold...... Thanks.....
If anyone is interested, I am selling a NEW HTC shift. I only bought it on the 21st Jan 2009.
I bought it for a friend (I do IT work privately) and he now says that he doesn't want it.
I am selling it for €600 (plus shipping) which is the price that I paid for it. I will include the invoice to prove this!!
The device has not been used other than to check that it works.
If anyone is interested, please contact me. nicholas at cross dot lu
Forgot to say... the shift is UK version, and I will ship worldwide so long as you are willing to pay for insured delivery (will be approx €30).

I'm looking to buy a WIFI Xoom in the US and want to know if the standard charger it comes with also will work with our 220 volt/50 hertz system? I understand the Xoom does not charge via USB and need assuranse I'll be able to charge it back home.
Has your charger got the 100-240V~50/60Hz electrical specification printed on it?
Just bought a Xoom in the satetes some days ago. You will be fine charging it in europe, checked it.
Someone posted a picture of the actual charger. Check here!
Works fine, I even have 2 of the chargers as i bought the dock station as well. They are multi voltage and work in the UK just fine all you need is a plug adapter.
Lordao
Thank you guys! Just what I needed to know. My Xoom is now ordered!

I ordered a WIFI only Xoom from B&H Photo and Video (www.bhphotovideo.com) on 27 March. Tracking shows i should get it today or tomorrow, can't wait!
Thanks Poisike, ordered a Xoom Wi-Fi there today too ... ;-)
If I hadn't already pre-ordered from Dixons I'd be placing my order too! Taking into account shipping and taxes though the price difference is negligable, even though I'd probably get it sooner if I ordered from the States.
No offense, but I don't think any electronic device manufactured in the past 15 years doesn't have a multi voltage charger. My laptops in 1997 were multi charger.
Besides, if you really want the device and you weren't 100% sure, you could always get a converter.
Hi Guys!
I am pretty new on this forum, although i have been on xda years ago when i used windows mobile. Now i am proudly owner of a Nexus 7 16gb. I got this pre-ordered on the day Google announced it, and got my sister to bring it to me in the Netherlands. I own a C60, with pretty much no flaws except a very tiny screen lift which doesnt bother me.
Well, I started this topic because of the following:
Since I got the US version, it also came with the US wall charger wich doesnt work in the Netherlands.
Therefore i recently ordered a original EU wall charger to charge my Nexus 7. Charging with my laptop takes forever, wich seems to be a common problem with this nexus. Also other wall chargers don't work (dont show charge, or trickle charge. anyways, it takes forever).
Now i got this US > EU converter thing, so i can also use the US wall charger that came with my Nexus.
Since im now i cant post a picture of this converter, but its the first thing that shows up when u google: us eu converter
Only thing i am concerned about is the voltage. I got this simple converter wich only converts the plug type.
I have been told since im going from US (110v) to EU (220v), there shouldnt be any problems charging it using this converter.
But just to be sure, i would like to hear your opinions Is the original US wall charger compatible with 220v?
Thanks a lot!
You will be alright using the adapter. A friend of mine bought the nexus in the US and he uses one of those adapters to convert it to a EU adapter. The flat adapters will work in all of EU the round adapters will sometimes not fit in South European countries like Spain

Alright thanks!
So it will not be risky to charge with? I know it will charge with the converter, but is it safe for my Nexus?
Im asking this because i have already ordered a original EU Asus wall charger, it is not like i need it desperately to work.
But if i can use both EU and US charger with converter, it would be very convenient for when im not at home.

No risk at all. The charger will use the amount of power the nexus 7 needs to safely charge itself.

I'm sorry guys, just checked the stock again and almost all the stores in the country are empty now I suspect that some Dutch people who read this thread quickly got one themselves or something. A store which had 4 yesterday, now has 0 and normally these chargers never sell fast. I still have two reserved which I will offer to the people that first responded (will contact you soon).
Sorry again! I really hate that this happened but I couldn't go and bought some yesterday without knowing if people are interested and being stuck with them.

Hi all,
The Philip Qi charger just got discounted here in The Netherlands to €20, this one: http://www.philips.co.uk/c/-/-dlp7210b_10/prd/en/consumer
However, shipping to the US is normally very expensive (0 to 2kg = €19,95). But if I strip the chargers from their packaging and only send the charger/powersupply I can fit about 7 in the box which results in $32 (€23) total costs. I know another XDA user (dralways) who arranged the N4 and N10 for me I could ship the chargers to him so you could pick it up (stillwater, oklahoma) at his house or he could ship it from within the US.
This topic is to see if there is any interest as I know quality Qi chargers are very expensive in the US and I like to help you guys out.
You can have it for $32 (€23) but I always appreciate a small tip for my troubles ? I will test them all before shipping. Payment is through PayPal if we can gather enough people to proceed.
About the charger: it has a very good build quality and charges as quick as the normal USB charger. Output of the Qi charger is 1 A or 1000 ma compared to the 1.2 A or 1200 ma of the stock USB charger, so very close. Furthermore, one of the stronger Qi chargers I've seen. I don't have any troubles to get my phone to 100% (some chargers are reported to charge only to somewhere in the 90s). I will try to post some pictures tonight!
Let me know, if you are interested!
Rob
UPDATE:
I can probably fit one charger in a large padded envelope, shipping to the US would be €9,50 so if you prefer to have it send straight to your home we are talking about $40 (€29,50). For other countries, just contact me for a shipping price. The stock at the stores is very limited (I know someone who works at one of the stores and can check the stock of others) so I've to look, depending on demand, how much I'm able to get. If I can get interest in 7 devices total for bulk then that one has priority,
Users interested (need to have interest for 7 units total):
- Jrob2k (1)
- nateysmith (2 or 3)
- incognito2 (1)
I'm interested

@nateysmith it works wonderful here, haven't had any problems with it. Note that the charging output is 1 A (or 1000 ma) which is very close to the 1.2 A (1200 ma) of the USB charger. Most Qi chargers have a lower output.

Nope, I can fit one in a large envelope. 2 is always possible but then the shipping costs are €19.95. That is why I'm trying to get a bulk of 7 shipped to dralways in the US so let me know what you want.
I will try to buy as many chargers as I can get this week, so far I have 2 reserved in one store and 2 in another. There is a possibility that I can get 3 - 4 more available in another store, so stay tuned!
Would love to get 3 to germany. I send you a PM

Hey proud Yotaphone 2 owners,
Can you confirm that all Yotaphone 2 models available have Qi? I want to get a new one and struggle between S6edge and Yotaphone 2. Qi is a deciding factor for me, since I have Qi stuff everywhere and don't want to miss it. What confuses me is that on some websites Qi is shown as feature and on some not. Also in the two reviews I read, there was no mention about wireless charging...
Thanks,
Daniel.
Yes all have qi charging. Just taken mine off wireless charge this moment.
Only just bought the charger too but decided to sell the phone as even though its nice I have no use for the back screen whatsoever even though I have tried to find a use lol.

:good: Thanks for the quick reply mate, sounds good. I think I would use the back screen mainly for checking the time and for Kindle. Just a phone without Qi turned into a no-go for me. Well, I will give it a try then. Is much cheaper than the S6 edge and as long as the regular Android updates work it should be fine.
Well mine had 2 updates out of the box but still on 5.0. Mine is the Yd201 international version. You can buy mine if in the UK lol

I use the back screen mainly for ebook reading and I find the always on screen a big bonus when at work. Checking for messages / time / weather etc. doesn't require me to do anything but look at the phone that is lying on my desk. No phone to grab or buttons to push.
The latest RU firmware update is Lollipop and I doubt if we will ever see Marshmallow. But on the plus site, the latest Android security update is from september 2016. That is something you don't see much on Lollipop phones.
If you buy a chinese yd206 yotaphone there will be no firmware updates and it uses different but overlapping LTE bands. Unless you try to flash it to Yd201 which can be tricky. But it's cheaper!
But I ordered a cheap qi charger too, there's a quick charging LG wireless charger coming out out soon.
One thing that amazed me was you can buy a wireless qi powerbank too for the yotaphone (and other qi phones).

Thanks, that would have been my next questions and you anticipated it I saw that some shops sell the YD206 version for a few € less than the YD201. I will just make sure to get the YD201 then. Better be supported than having to tweak around all the time with a model made for the Chinese market...
The worst thing about the Chinese yd206 model is the lack of Google apps because Google is banned in China, but many stores do patch the software to add Google . I guess that the HK ROM already has Google apps but I don't know.
Most, if not all Asian countries use the same 4G bands as China. In some countries, notably USA, 4G does not work at all on Yotaphone, but best to have a second opinion on that, maybe only yd206.
Most people here have attempted to flash their yd206s to international ROMs. But there can be problems, you don't want to brick a brand new phone.
I expected mine to arrive at my house today, package tracking has gone eerily quiet. On Friday it was at the airport post office a few miles away. It's driving me a bit mad waiting for it.

You can upgrade nearby all smartphones with QI charging. Just need to add an QI receiver
