Hi.
I have a SM-N900 16GB (TGY Hong Kong).
I've tried to flash stock android 5.0 ROM, via odin and flashed successfull.
But, imei was 00.... A random IMEI, so I couldn't register on network.
After reading some stuff, I was tying to find a .pit file to reflash with the re-partition option and a .pit file.
But i've done a mistake. I've downloaded the 32GB .pit file, and my phone is a 16GB model.
I don't know if that's the problem, but on reflashing with that pit file, odin failed, on cache.img (no error description, just appears cache.img and then Writing and Fail).
Tried then, just reflash the rom withou pit file and re-partition option, but the problem continues, and my phone is like briked.
My question is, the 32gb instead of 16gb pit file was the problem?
And if so, i've seached a lot, but i can't find a N900 16gb pit file, only for N9005, there's here anyone who can help me or give me a pit file for n900 16gb?
Note: The phone when i power on, says firmware fail. So it's not totally dead. Odin still can detect him
Update:
I've downloaded the 32G pit because on Storage, on phone info, says 32GB.
But the labelin battery zone, says 16G.
Now I have a 16G sdcard. that 32G on phone information under settings is 16+16 or just internal and my label is wrong?
I'm asking because the pit file of 32Gb never gave an error, the problem is when odin is writing cache.img.
(And yes, it's a used Note 3, so i0m thinking now that something is wrong.. Label 16GB... Storage info 32GB...
Appreciate.
Flash the latest 16gb rom for your device (TGY from sammobile.com), with this 16gb pit file.

Hi. It gives an error on odin... (mine is N900 and no n9005)
So probably my phone is a 32g model or it's because of the version?

Sorry i read your model number wrong, ignore what it says in software.. what it says on the phone printed on the back is what you should pay attention to.
I'll look for another pit file for the n9000, maybe you could ask in an active n9000 rom thread for someone to quickly backup their 16gb pit?

Hi, Tried to install root through odin for the first time but the install didn't complete.
Now my sgs won't boot anymore.
It gives, the firmware upgrade error.
I can boot into download mode.
When i try to flash the original firmware for the i9505 it gives an error (something about a pit file missing)...
What can i do to get my sgs4 working again?

seems partitions are corrupt so try getting the 16GB pit file and set it in odin with the repartition option enabled..... and try flashing the new firmware
Under normal circumstances, DO NOT tick "re-partition" during Odin flash of firmware.
Only tick "re-partition" if you have the PIT file as described in previous post
Ensure any firmware (double check !) is that for your specific model.

There's a .pit file in the DOWNLOADER folder at this link: moulnisky DOT com/index.php?dir=Samsung/Firmwares/GT-I9505/
I haven't tested it so don't know if it works, but there you go.
P.S. I had the same issue and restored my phone using Kies firmware recovery mode: samsung DOT com/us/support/SupportOwnersFAQPopup.do?faq_id=FAQ00048586&fm_seq=52928
Hi
I need 32 gb pit file for Gt- I9506. as i messed with odin .
thanks for help.
When you are flashing with Odin, what is the error message? Posting the full log will help determine possible issues.
Hi
i was getting odin fail ext4 errer while flashing orignal 5.0.1 software .
So i tried to flash with pit file but unfortunatly used 16gb pit file and now i can boot in download mode or twrp but internal memory is messed up or wrongly mapped so cant flash any coustom rom.
i think i can still flash orignal with right pit file!
thanks
Please post a link or upload where i can find 32gb pit file !
thanks
Hi Pl. Help! still Cant finde suitable pit file ! Thanks
Hi,
When flashing, did you select repartition? What message did you get from Odin while trying to upload the 16gb pit file, was it successful?
Try to flash a stock firmware, then a custom recovery, and then a custom rom. Sometimes you just need to start over.
Have not found the 32gb pit file yet, but will continue to search.

When Odin gives an error when repartition is selected and no pit file is selected, i think you are fine.
I did not manage to find a file, searched through google and lxquick, browsed a few pages, with no results, sorry.
Since download and recovery still works i do not think any repartition did happen. If Odin failed this time while flashing the stock firmware, please save the log and post it here, makes it easier for us to understand what is happening. Thank you.
Hi there.
my phone is S4 i9500 ja3gxx
I downloaded the 11GB support RR nougat rom.
now im running tw 5.0.1 and 8GB. I wana flash RR nouat 11GB to increase my internal storage.
But i faced the following problem:
First flashed it with twrp3.1.1 that ended up with error7 !
then again flashed it with twrp2.8.7.0 successfully
But unfortunatelly now my phone runs 8GB not 11GB.
I need to do anything else to have 11GB free space??? please help.
Yep. You need to apply a PIT file through Odin to increase the space. Search the forum; the 11GB PIT file should be easily found.

I found one and flashed it with twrp. But when I launched twrp It was not able to mount system, data and others. I think its because the pit file.
After that I flashed the original pit file with twrp and everything was again aive!
So what is the problem? How should I use the pit file?
Clearly you didn't read my post, or else you'd not be asking how to use a PIT file.
In any event, you might want to read up on how to use a PIT file, before you hard brick your device. You can start by reading the thread where the PIT file was found.
So I'm lucky that my phone is not dead yet!
I found how to use pit file here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=45237267&postcount=38

Hello guys,
My note 4 was having some reboot problems and when I try to boot in recovery mode I was getting error that it couldn't boot in normal mode.
I read somewhere that I should be doing a clean flash for the PIT file and the stock Rom, I started with the PIT file and it went perfectly with Odin.
But later when I tried flashing the ROM, it fails with the following errors:
- ODIN: flash read failure
- ERROR: There is no pit binary
I'm sure I have used the exact pit file for my model, I've tried flashing the Rom and the pit file at the same time but always the same error, now even retrying to flash the PIT file fails.
I'm wondering if there is any way I can fix this problem.
Thank you

I bet 100$ (which you'll pay) that nobody can find in your message the hidden sentence about the model of your note 4.
If, by the grace of the literate and smart people here, someone can 100% say that your phone is a 910F or similar model with a Snapdragon CPU, then...
Maybe your phone has a health problem plague called eMMC failure.
Or so it looks like.
You want my paypal account ? :silly:
Did you try newer versions of Odin?
And try also the PC app of Samsung - SmartSwitch - it can flash the original firmware based on the SN of your phone (located under the battery).
Read some more about these steps and try.
Tho, it looks like a dead emmc.

Sorry man, I forgot to mention my phone model, which is N910F.
The eMMC failure error only showed once on the recovery mode.
I've tried different versions of Odin, 3.13, 3.10 and 3.09, same error.
I also tried with SmartSwitch but for some reason they say that my model is not supported.

Interesting, I have an 910C (Exynos) and the SmartSwitch worked for me - I've had a soft brick too.
Oh, well... don't have too many hopes for the emmc issue. As far as it's known this means death.
Sorry for your loss.
try maybe

That has no OEM unlock option.
Hello everyone,
I have a phone beyond2qlte and I accidentally checked the "Re-partition" button in Odin without PIT, the storage only recognize 32GB now (The original size is 512GB). i am so stupid and would be so grateful for your kind help.
My phone is Snapdragon and tried every method to flash TWRP but still bootloop. I just want to have a phone for normal use now, but it seems so hard....
I flashed BL,AP,CP, CSC but still failed...
Please help me. Thanks a lot

Have you attempted a factory reset?
I think you have to flash PIT file from your S10+ firmware.
here the articles you can follow :
