I'm an ALE-21 owner. There is an anoying problem with the keyboard: double typing during writting sms, whatsapp, etc. I've tried different keyboards and the problem presists.
The problem have been reported in several places, even official forums, but there isn't any official response from Huawei.
My firmware version is : ALE-L32C432B136. It is known that this problem exists in other firmware versions.
Is a known issue, no solution for now (you can reduce with swiftkey)

I have bypassed this problem with changing to google original keyboard rather than Huawei... You can do it from input settings.
I have this problem too. It's sooo irritating, and i also have a badpixel so if huawei won't come with a solution in the near future i have the reason to send it back where i bought it and maybe they'll fix it by replacing the screen or whole phone
I don't suffer this bug. I have b132 and everything is fine. Neither youtube bug, present in earlier releases.
Installed Swiftkey and using autocomplete.
I have this bug on all keyboards: Google Keyboard, Huawei keyboard, and AI keyboard
Swiftkey with autocomplete reduces the problem but doesn't solve it.
hello, please is possible by default apply a space after a "." or "," sign? i have stock keyboard... thanks

HI all,
Ive tried several builds and have a reaccuring problem that happens with them all. I text pretty heavy and sometimes my keyboard will disappear. You can still text normally there's just no letters present. quick reboot and its back... Im just wondering if this is a hardware or software issue. It didnt do it with Win MO. The lastest rom is a nand HyperDroid GBX which is really great but i still get the keyboard problem. I had the same problem with sd installs also.
Has anyone else ran into this? Any fixes?
Hi,
Did you try with a third party app?
No sir no apps. Assuming you mean keyboard apps?
It's a software/build problem. HD2 don't have a physical keyboard buttons, anything related to that is a software problem. You can install a different build. If you like pure android you can try tytung's build. Just follow my sig.
Hi,
I am having a problem with predictive text in the stock email app.
It works fine using the Samsung keyboard with X9 on, but with any 3rd party app (Gingerbread keyboard in my case) it doesn't work. Well, it works on the subject header but not the body text. Very annoying (I have attached some images)
I have tried using Swiftkey (including X beta) and neither work. All other apps are fine - messaging, What's App, & Gmail.
I have re-booted but still nothing.
BTW - Not rooted, running Go Launcher EX on KE7 kernel.
Anyone else having this problem?
Yes, this problem is very annoying.

Ah, ok. Must have missed that forum. Cheers.
I've been using CyanogenMod for a while on my M2. BTW, works like a charm and installation was painless - thanks a lot for all the tips and your hard work.
One thing I am missing quite a lot from the stock ROM (probably the only thing, really) is having dictionary suggestions displayed at the bottom of the screen when using the physical keyboard (as when using any onscreen keyboard). I have searched the settings menus and simply can't find it anywhere. I have even installed MIUI for a while to see if it was there but no luck either.
Am I missing something or is this feature only available on stock ROM? If so, do you think it would be possible to have it ported to CM7 or any other non-stock ROM in that matter? That would be quite useful especially considering that the M2 keyboard is a little bit on a rubbish side - improved a lot with the Debounce fix though.
Thanks a lot for any suggestions!
Smart Keyboard Pro is quiet good!

But this is on-screen keyboard, isn't it?
yes, but got also auto-correct for HW keyboard with many languages
Oh, didn't know that. I'll have a look. Cheers.
This is quite odd though. Doesn't it mean that installing a stock keyboard patch would bring this feature back? I installed it and the stock on-screen keyboard was fine but I am fairly certain it didn't work. Unless there were some settings I missed.
Works fine actually. Thanks a lot for the tip wadimka.
Wonder if there is a free app with the same functionality.
I ended up using GO Keyboard. I like the interface more, the dictionary seems to be a bit better for some reason (not sure if that's even possible ) and on top of that it's free.
I am fairly certain I have tried it before as I use other GO apps including GO Launcher and the dictionary wasn't working with the built-in keyboard. Looks like I must have messed up some settings.
ok I know my problem is kinda weird since I've searched everywhere for a solution but couldn't find any thus far. (though my everywhere is limited to Xda and some other forums)
so my problem is that my note 3 kitkat 4.4.2 is able to display almost all emojis used and show their own Samsung made emoji..
however, every once in a while some of these are replaced by a Chinese character, this issue is visible in BBM broadcasts, Twitter and Path.
I've tried using snapchat, when I add a "story" I can view whatever I wrote in caption in the title, so when I use the emojis as a caption they always appear as Chinese Characters in the title
how do I get rid of this annoying problem?
hopefully someone has the same issue and solved it
I forgot to add that I bought the phone from Malaysia and it's N-9005
Has anyone ran across the issue on Oreo where the keyboard photo stay up after you've done your search? Like in the photo.

I just got my device back from warranty and noticed the my keyboard is ghosting bad. Other items as well. Download root browser. And open a file that's empty. And I can see it real good. Like any image I leave on device fore 5 sec or so ghosts. And it's anoyying. I'm on 7.0 still partcyborg rom. I know it's nothing on his rom doing this
Not as bad as yours. Yours looks lime a software issue as it's caught in a screen shot. Mine can't be photographed in ss
yes I thought so also that it might've been a bad flash or bad software but reinstalled Oreo and does the same thing on stock keyboard also.
I have the same issue. I've noticed it happens while using search, then opening the requested app. It's as if the launcher doesn't know how to disengage the app when no longer needed. Also, I'm using Microsoft's Launcher, so I think that my be ano th her part of the issue (3rd party launchers). Anyone else notice the same behavior?
I've found that using the dolphin browser is what did it to mine. Uninstalled it and I haven't had the issue since.
