I have a spare note3 , which I had rooted in past to remove some of the Samsung bloatwares . I'd decided today to give this phone a chance again and done a factory reset but after resetting the phone boots in TWRP , instead of system . I tried to restore from backup but still it is failed to boot .I am getting an error when trying to do an advance wipe in TWRP ,which goes like this " E:/ unable to mount cache ". I had taken a nandroid backup in past and trying to restore from it , but its not working . please help.
Edit :- As of now I'd successfully reinstalled the TWRP with the help of Odin and able to do a restore from backup , But I am getting an error when trying to flash it with CM 12.01 nightly . Can someone please point out which is the right CM nightly for N9000 version .
Thank you

I did a twrp 2.6.3.2 backup before flashing via odin and getting the bootloop, but after restoring that backup still got the device in bootloop and no networks.

Hi guys,
I got a N910C, CSC XXV , Softbricked it because I was overconfident and skip Nandroid back up ( I know ) when install Bliss rom
The installation went fine, but after my battery dead a few time , it stuck into bootloops. still able to get in recovery and download
So tried the Stock From Sammobile with Odin with no results , Wipe cache and dalvik cache with no result, I even wipe EFS and Erase Nand, and using Pit file (Im sure I used the correct one) with no lucks at all
Right now i can access to adb thru CWM recovery, and Odin thru download mode, and that's all it going to. It does say Kernel/Recovery is not SEAndroid enforcing whenever I tried to flash TWRP or a custom kernel tho ( I still able to get in TWRP)
So if anyone have a similar phone I can have a nandroid back up it'd be great, or anyone have any insight of this bootloop.
TL;DR: Softbricked, Tried everything i could think of except Nandroid restore, so if you have a N910C CSC XXV( Does it matter?) and able to share it then it's brilliant
Thank you very much
Hi Devellopers,
I have a big problem with my nand backup performed with TWRP, so it can't be restored via TWRP
I stack in :
Restoring System...
Extracttarfolk() .. Process ended with error 255
I have tried all of the following solutions but no one of them give a nice result :
- Errase All and Wipe All
- Errase the internal storage (backup is on the sdcard)
- install a stock firmware and do a full wipe and tried again
- Install cm13 with success but the same problem with restore also after wiping from CM13
- Flash pit File without success (Failed)
- Test another version of TWRP same result
This problem appear after trying to flash miui 7 rom from the official site but also without success
So please can you help me to restore my only backup all my data is there and i am unable to restore it.
Thanks
Help Please ...
Here the Log File from twrp
Hey,
i have TWRP installed and had the samsung galaxy s8 port running for about 1 year without problems. Since a couple of days it doesnt boot into the ROM anymore. So i went into TWRP and tried a restore of a backup. The backup process just freezes somewhere and i have to restart the phone. I also tried clean flashing a couple of ROMs but every installation is crashing.
TWRP has never crashed before so i'm guessing Hardware is broken?
Or is it possible that it ****ed up my partition table? it always crashes when trying to install or restore system partition. Also repairing the file system fails with error 4.
Any help is welcome, thx!
flash newest twrp again, partition, full wipe and install rom. of that doesnt help thsn flash stock with odin and go all the way to custom
