[N910F] Some questions regarding the modem/bootloader update and recovery problem - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
First off I tried to install the nameless rom, with out updating the boot loader aaaaaaaaand now I can't load up the recovery and yes I do know how to: Volume up + power or volume up + home + power.
Is the modem/boot loader update safe? Well ofcourse for the corresponding device.
If so then I can install the corresponding bootloader and proberly the rom will start on it's own.
If not then I wonder how to reinstall the stock rom. I mean it's through odin, but that's to easy.

[Q] Can't Boot/ NO STOCK RECOVERY option for LG-D802? (D80220b-HKG-XX) Any ideas??

Recently i have updated the phone from 4.2.2 to 4.4.2 by LG PC suite and OTA upgrade. During 4.2.2 i am able to boot into stock recovery by pressing power + vol down button, but after upgrade my phone was unable to boot into custom recovery nor hard reset. The LG logo just appear and disappears (Like how you force shutdown a phone).
My phone is unrooted and no custom recovery has been flashed. (I was a little worried for flashing custom recovery and start rooting since i cant boot into stock recovery in D80220b-HKG-XX
Does anyone experiencing this or is recovery accessible only after custom recovery has flashed?
Thanks.

Hi, There's many, MANY threads talking about NOT upgrading with OTA, instead install custom recovery and flash thru recovery stock KK with SuperSU.
I (and many) don't trust OTA for the same reason, sometimes something goes wrong and you have no custom recovery and no Rom. If you don't have experience rooting, unlocking, so on ,,, your best bet is go to your cell company and tell them you took OTA and your phone broke, they should be able to give you a new one since you don't have ROOT or Custom Recovery.
Hope this helps

NP, yes just go back to JB ->root -> TWRP -> flash stock KK -> flash SuperSU 2.x ->profit
If you want TWRP in KK just intall AutoREC.
The reset process is changed since 20b (i think I'm not wrong!?)
1. hold power + volume down until you see the lg logo --- release shortly (just release and after releasing 2.)
2. hold volume up + volume down instead of volume down + power

once you flash TWRP via autorec it will take you back to twrp (the old combination)
For now you can't boot to recovery(you might try "adb reboot recovery" - it might factory reset if this is your fresh installed kdz

Absolutely correct and these type of answers are incredibly HARD to come by since most of the youtube vids + google search results are methods prior to the 20b update.
For the users out there with the latest update, they will have a hard time searching for the right combination. With the latest update, pushing down button + power key again and holding it will only result in the phone powering off.
For the ultimate method, use ADB reboot recovery via PC to access stock recovery.
(If you have rooted your G2 before via IOROOT method, you would have noticed the existence of the G2's stock recovery menu when this command was executed by IOROOT during the root process.)
*Be Aware* Holding the Vol Up + Vol Down key will bring up the Factory Hard Reset. You only enter YES if you're confident you have TWRP custom recovery installed, it will not perform a hard reset but instead load up TWRP immediately. This is the only way to enter TWRP through the phone. But if you had stock recovery it will erase everything in your phone! (incl. camera photos and vids)
I've heard something about bricking the phone if custom recovery was installed and OTA update was performed. With the imminent Lollipop official release, most users need to be aware of this or refresh their minds readily to avoid themselves another round of headache...
Boy these LG phones are complicated to mod as compared to the Nexi or the Galaxies....

Phone with No OS

So the problem starts like this. I rooted my lenovo A6000, flashed it with TWRP (latest version). To flash it with custom Rom i used to go to recovery mode with an app called flashify. the custom Rom was unstable so i wiped it and tried to flash it with other custom ROM. This Rom was corrupted and now i can't boot my phone neither i can go to recovery mode to flash back to stock rom. Please I need Help!!!!
@Samridh Srivastava
Man just pull out the battery.
Put it back in.
Press VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER KEY and release the POWER KEY once you see the boot logo.
Your phone will boot into TWRP.
Then you can flash any ROM you want.
Thank you very much, you saved me buddy. Worked for me

How to root Android 7.1.2 Lineage OS GT-I9506 to flash another ROM

Hi Guys,
Just a newbie here, I recently flashed my phone with Lineage OS and it was not rooted.
Now, I want to try other ROMs, I can't seem to install TWRP since phone is not rooted.
Hope to get your thoughts on this. Thank you.
Installing twrp does not require root if using the Odin version of twrp.

Key Combo to boot to TWRP for S4
Do you happen to know what is the key combo for TWRP?
Hold volume down, home, and press the power button. Once the phone powers up, release the power button. Hold the other buttons until the twrp logo appears.
S4 stuck in Odin Mode
Hi Guys,
How to solve phone booting to Odin mode directly, it doesn't boot anymore to OS.
Try flashing the latest stock ROM from sammobile.com or updato with Odin.

Question regarding Stock recovery:

How to install stock recovery on moto g4 plus if there is no recovery currently installed on the device?
Hmm, there should be a recovery on the device. If you boot to the bootloader, then boot to recovery, what screen do you see? If it's a screen with 'no command' written on it, then press and hold the power button, then press the volume up key - that should let you access the stock recovery.
If you don't have that screen or a TWRP screen, you can re-flash the stock ROM via fastboot. Depending on your device, you can flash the NPJS25.93-14-18 stock ROM: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138

G4 Plus stuck on twrp recorvery unless booted through recovery mode (power+volume dn)

I recently installed twrp instructions and installed a custom ROM. Even since then the device boots normally into twrp recovery only. to boot into the rom, I have to boot through recovery, press power + volume dn and then it boots to the regular ROM. Should I start over on this or is there a way to change that preference so the device boots normally into the OS instead of twrp.
Sorry if this has been answered somewhere else already. I looked.

I am facing same issue. I don't have twrp or custom rom but stock recovery and stock rom. Everytime I boot or restart my phone it goes to recovery mode!! I couldn't find solution yet and its very annoying.
Try following the steps in this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4/help/troubleshooting-twrp-boot-loop-ota-t3714325 Of course, ensure you have backups before erasing anything.
