I have gotten a custom ROM on my galazlxy s5 (sm-g900i kltedv with cyanogenmod 12.1) and that means I no longer have the defauld camera app. The problem is that now I can't record videos at more than 30 fps even though the s5 can do 120 simply because there are no apps that can change it. Is there any way to change the camera fps?
Yes. Snap Camera:

and here the XDA thread with beta versions from Snap Camera:

You can try OPEN CAMERA
Make a look to Google Play store!
You also can try cameranext with galerynext. I am sorry, but I have no downloadlink in the moment.

I think that the kernel can't go over around 30 fps. I'm now using blisspop and I still have the problem none of the apps help.

Goodmorning,
i'm trying do doing a custom rom from the kitkat firmware.
I have deodexed it, deleted some stupid issues from mtklog (stored all time folders in sdcard), apps and replaced launcher with Lenovo VibeX2 launcher and Camera app with Meizu Camera app.
The only problems are with xposed modules, crash with multiple installations, and video . Aren't recorded at 4k, only 640x480 60fps. Who want help me to fix issues?? :fingers-crossed:

Hello guys
Since one Snapchat update, auto focus and manual focus in my Galaxy S5 Neo totally broke down.
For example I can't focus more than here:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Am I only one who got this issue
I got one more question, about Snapchat video recording framerate.
In SM-G900F Snapchat videos are smooth and they got stable framerate. The same situation performs in iPhones, or in Sony Xperia Z5.
What it depends on, and why it not works in our S5 Neo?
Framerate in recorded Snapchat videos looks terrible in bad lighting.
I would like it to be stable as in primary S5
If you've root then I've a solution for you regarding the low fps during night . You can thank me later

Check this link for the workaround

i'm sorry if i have to post a new thread cause i can't post a reply at the dev page just yet, i wonder if anyone has the same problem with mine. Aida 64 reports that video stabilization is not supported regardless of turning it off in camera settings. Is the reading just wrong and video stabilization works as it is or is it not working at the moment on note 7 ports? I also noticed a little loss of quality at lowlight. Thanks guys

My bad, I thought it was just on the n7 port side. Thanks bro. Any suggestions when using Jesse note 7 tom?
Hi guys, i'm having an issues here with video recording.
I use the latest Google Camera from Arnova G with EIS enabled.
the sound quality is turned down after the first seconds. it having a distortion and sound volume went down.
I'll give you the example here:
https://photos.app.goo.gl/HTfNs9essC72wyjm9
And take a look at this.

"lightbox_next": "Next",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
as you can see the waveform drastically went down in the first second of the video.
Let me know if you the same issues and know how to fix it
First of all, i'm in Resurrection Remix ROM with Magisk rooted.
bump
After installation of custom camera, I've got some artifacts on my photos. This happens in all ROMs that i had and only stock cam works perfectly. Currently I'm using havoc os running on pie.

So your camera is taking ancient pictures, with artifacts in it!? Time travel?
Creepy!!!
You're probably running some version of Google Camera (an old Arnova version or a non Arnova version)
This happens when you click without HDR or take too many HDR shots.
The solution is to remove this version of Google Camera (if it is actually Google Camera) and install this version here :
