here is a benchmark of the redmi note 2 at 50% brightness on airplane mode using geekbench 3.

depending on your own usage, having 3g or 4g data on and if you are outdoors most of the time which will ramp up your brightness to max. you will normally get somewhere in the 4 hours of SOT with the device. @ern88 SOT is what an average user will probably get.

and the screen running time is 5:35 .. and the screen brightness was auto and minimum ..
another thing is the instagram it consumed 26% with just 1 hour running !?

Not too bad with the screen-on time 5:35
if you root the phone and remove some bloatware it will even better
So I'm curious about other people's battery life on the Note 3. Can you guys post screenshots of your battery life + screen on time. Additionally, could you guys also add what carrier you are on and rom? Thank yous

I am currently on the Tmobile variant on the latest version of Hyperdrive Rom~
Everyone uses their phone differently, so how much do Batteries last, is totally irrelevant for you to compare.
I can have 2 days on battery and sometimes I have to recharge at 10pm same day.

I have the Exynos variant, I'm in the stock ROM with halaskz kernel and well, it's not so good, I'm having 4 hours screen on time, and some months ago I had 5 or 6 hours of screen on time, I cannot post screenshots right now.

Nothing in the battery stats is abnormal and the phone didn't wake up a lot yet I lost a ton of battery overnight. How do I find what caused it? Also is their anyway to tell if I have a defective battery? A lot of people here and at /r/motox seem to be getting better battery life. I can barely get 3 hours of sot over 10 or so hours. I really want to keep this phone but if this is going to be normal then I might as well go back to the Note 4.

Install System Panel and let it log the data for some time. I have the paid version, but I think the free version is similar.

data only -> 4 hours sot
with 13-15 hours standby
i think your battery is not correct calibrated. @3,690V you should have almost ~38% not 3% !!
fully charged: 4,200v = 100%
empty battery: 3,400v = 0%

Guys, plse help me to solve battery draining of xiaomi service framework. My phone is 4gb/64gb global version and I am on official 10.3.5. No root. My phones is 1 week old and i m getting SOT 6-7 hours. While i am getting SOT 9-10 hours on my redmi note 5 pro
