Just wonder if those speakers in z5c are louder than z3c ?
Without having heard them I can tell you that they won't / can't be much louder then they are.
When you use the speakers they create vibrations, if the vibrations are too heavy the glass my crack. So there are limitations.

i have now Moto G 3rd gen and this phone have only one mono speaker but is very loud, louder than 2 speakers on Z3C,
Z5c speakers are longer but narrower, just I'm curious how many sound can get through that speaker gap ? We have to just wait for some reviews..

check the positioning of the speaker, youve probably got it in wrong. The notch on it should point towards the touchscreen
bro, I didnt see other than speaker phone,
there are 2 speakers there ? I saw only one on the back side.
fyi, I can call, but I must use speakerphone mode, just like conference ...

If you didnt transfer it over to your new facia that would be a very good reason for it not to be working
thx bro I`ll check it again
Is it possible to change microphone sensitivity via some Android API?
I want to do this to be able to set sensitivity of the microphone when recording. When you record now the microphone tries to compensate for the sound that are silent, that makes (sudden) loud noises go over what the phone can record.
Look at this image:

If you set the microphone to be less sensitive the pink bars would go up, making low sounds unrecordable but higher sounds won't loose it peaks.
I don't care if the phone has to be rooted to do this but I want to be able to set microphone sensitivity via an apk.
I sometimes use my One to record our band rehearsing, and overall the 'HDR' microphones cope surprisingly well with the high sound levels (we're a metal band with a loud drum kit).
However, I've started to notice that the right channel of the stereo recording seems to be consistently louder and, hence, closer to clipping than the left one. You can kind of see it in the screenshot below. I'm fairly certain it's not due to the acoustic conditions in our rehearsal space.

Has anyone else noticed this or is there something wrong with my device?

The Histen 3D sound technology first showed up in the Honor 9. This powerful set of audio settings work great when using a good pair of headphones. Now we are going to see this feature be implemented into the Honor 7x!
These screenshots are from the Honor 9, but you can expect to see the same thing in the Honor 7x.

Can anyone confirm that Snapdragon Audio+ has been removed or replaced with the normal aosp audio drivers in Pie update?
I think this has affected the audio quality quite significantly], especially with the speakers.

Yes, removed in all 9.0 Snapdragon devices (also Nokia)
Well that's sad news
Snapdragon Audio+ in Mi A1 Pie
Well, I am ok if they bring Reverb(Environment Effect/ audio virtualization) back.
In the New version everything is same except the Above option, Snapdragon Branding (Audio+) and look.
The Reverb option change the sound such a way that the sound feal nicer.
The same Sound can be(some what...) Achieve by software, like vlc media player's Audio Equaliser (Option:Large Hall), but it is nothing compared to hardware level manipulation.
