7.19.401.2 Data / Preload files

Heres a flashable zip built from the new Lollipop OTA containing the required Data / Preload files which get deleted when you unlock the bootloader, these work if you are on 6.09.401.11 and possibly 6.09.401.12 and are required to update successfully.
Copy zip to your internal storage and boot into TWRP recovery, flash like you would with anything else, reboot the phone, then boot to fastbootUSB and flash your stock recovery, you should now beable to update.
The zip can be edited and the files in the preload folder can be replaced with your own if you are not on the 401 international RUU, you can find your own files inside your OTA.zip/data/preload, just copy it to your PC, extract the contents of that preload folder found in the ota and replace the files in my flashable zip, save, copy to insternal storage, and then flash as per above instructions.

Deodexing files for s3v3n's ROM v5.0

I deodexed system files for s3v3n's v5.0 ROM - as I know, not all customizations through xPosed are working with odexed, or partialy deodexed ROMs. Hopefully s3v3n won't have objetions. One more thing - there isn't Gravitybox - You have to install it again - I deodexed it after upgrading Gravitybox to newer version.
Instructions:
unzip files to your SD-card
boot to TWRP
go to mount and select to mount system partition
go to advanced/filemanager
delete /system/app, /system/priv-app & system/framework - you have to go to particular folder, then tap&hold select then delete
copy app, priv-app, framework from your sdcard to
/system/
fixing permissions is not necessary
PS: You are doing it on your own risk.
Download here: deodex-s3v3n-v5.0
Can you please deodex 5.1?
working on that, maybe @ evening, I have to deodex several 32bit apps...64bit are done already but because of some 32b there are some conflicts

Deleted InputDevices mistakenly

My friend who is using a rooted ZE551KL, has deleted his InputDevices system app while deleting bloatware. The app was located in /system/priv-app. Now he is facing FCs. Please someone (ZE551KL MSM8939 user) send me the "InputDevices" folder that from /system/priv-app . You can use any file manager and copy the InputDevices folder to your external/internal storage. This doesn't require root. Please help.
Why not just reflash the stock rom from the stock recovery

I need a little help with some system apps! Thanx!

Hello everybody
I've recently upgraded my L03 to L01 and all the way up to B598 following your guides, thank you for your job.
I installed Link2SD and tried to convert some user apps to system apps, and Link2SD messed up system partition. It deleted system/app folder, so some important apps (such as the native explorer, clock, calc, even the hidden menu to force upgrade!) don't work.
Please!, if someone could zip system/app folder and send it to me i would be so thankful. :good::good::good::good:
I've tried several things, like extracting them from the update.app, but ex4extractor got stuck when trying to read system.img contents.
Thanx again!
EDIT:
I managed to extract system\app contents from system.img thanxs to Beta_P8_Lite_Alice_tool_pack-
Beware of link2sd. Don't try to convert user apps to system apps with this app, or chances are that it will mess up your system partition

[LGH870][Oreo] How to integrate apps update in rom.

After update from nougat to oreo, I've have problem with integration updated apps in to /system.
I do it like this:
1. copy apk file from data/apk to sd card
2. rename copied apk file to name of /system apk
3. extract lib folder from apk
4. copy newer file to proper folder in /system/app or /system/priv-app and replace file in it
5. Copy lib files extracted form apk to right folder /system/lib or /system/lib64
6. Uninstall update from /data/app
7. reboot + dalvik-cache wipe
In nougat it was working, but in oreo, app after integration, breaks. It cannot be open, and app name changes to random words (ex. google docs name changes to "write com.android").
To repair integrated apps I have to perform a full /data/ wipe.
Is it a some kind of protection? How to do it properly?
TitaniumBackup and Link2SD cannot integrate updates to rom properly without errors since Lolipop.
So no one knows?
or just nobody wants to write?
