[Q] Root or OTA 4.1.1 update first?

I just got my N7 and will be rooting it. Should I do the OTA update first, then root? Or should I root, then install the update via CWM?
If I do OTA now, then root, will I be on 4.1.1 after the unlock and root?
just update then root, updating doesn't change how root works, and it is a lot easier to update via the OTA than than to flash via CWM

Droid Ultra OTA Update 12.15.15

This is a link to the OTA Update for 12.15.15.
Download and install through stock recovery. Keep in mind if your missing any system apps or have them frozen this will not work.

After installation refer to this thread to root if you so choose.

May I install OTA updates?

I own a rooted Note 3. (Take a look to the attached screenshot)
An OTA upgrade has been notified and downloaded. But I haven't installed yet because I think I'll lost my root if I do that thing.
Is that right?
Is there a "safe" way to upgrade my Note's firmware without loosing root?

You cannot OTA update if the phone has been rooted. If you do that, the error message will be shown.
Follow this instruction to OTA update and keep root:
1. Open SuperSU settings
2. Scroll down to the bottom, Enable Pro
3. Check Survival mode
4. Uncheck Enable Superuser
5. Install OTA update
6. After reboot, Enable Superuser
7. Disable Survival mode
Note: You have to purchase Superuser Pro for this to work, and you have to reboot after upgrading to Pro.

@cinciopillo you will loss root access. You have to root it again, if any way available to root it again. "Kindly ignore this"

Possible to be stock + root + Xposed & still be able to get OTA updates?

Possible to be stock + root + Xposed & still be able to get OTA updates?
I have seen thread that describes updating to OTA updates but it is not clear to me if after that process OTA updates will continue to work? Or do you have to do that complicated process all over again?
Is there another way or any way to continue to get OTA updates and have root + Xposed?
Possible to modify OTA updates to be applied via recovery and work with root and Xposed? etc.
I have not seen this answered in all of the root forums.
