For me, I did a search. And didn't find any. I hoped someone know how. No need to be rude.

A simple response is all he was asking for. People like YOU Brava actually make forums shi++y by snapping at people instead of simply answering their questions and moving on. Or you could have simply ignored it all together....

I searched and I am able to realize that there isn't root for this device without asking and looking lazy.

Look AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint and Verizon!
All together for once and development is going to be huge!
This is going to be an awesome journey ladies and gentleman.
I am very much looking forward to call T-Mobile tomorrow and upgrade.

Yeah I was a bit like "wtf" when I first tried to go the the T-Mo GS3 forum this morning.. but then when I saw this I was very happy.
This is going to be as good as the GNex forum!
In theory all roms should work with all the models unless the dev says otherwise I kinda liks the integration we just gotta stay organized lol

has anyone tried rooting it through the s6 or s6 edge method?
Not until an exploit in 5.1.1 is found.
Locked bootloaders are the devil I tell you!
My VZW Edge is still on 5.02, rooted with ping pong and flashed with flashfire. Easiest with locked bootloader.
5.1.1, I'm afraid, is locked pretty damn tight.
May be a while.

My bad, I'm stuck in AT&T land and forgot this was a general forum. My bad lol.
Not sure about the chainfire method but it might be worth a shot.
Sucks for us At&t and Verizon users.

none
Samsung has put up a challenge to our sharpest Developer's. I'm guessing that Samsung's actions can be defeated eventually, someone will do it just to upset Samsung, and to prove that XDA's Devs are just as good, if not better that their's so when will they get root? who knows, but you can almost guarantee that it's being worked on as this is being written.

If anything this will get more onboard to find an exploit.
This is a brand new device, it will be exploited!
As it matures and these exploits are patched it gets harder as in next to impossible.
The same thing happens in iOS land.
Game of cat and mouse.
Just need to be a smarter cat.
And have patience.
Lots of patience.
One thing I can say is this (S6Edge+) has to be the smoothest out of the box Android experience ever! And on Verizon, that's saying a lot!
So (can't believe I'm actually saying, well technically posting, this!) using it stock isn't hateful at all!
Compared to the VZW Note4, I feel like I've gone from a dinghy to a sportfish!
Not sure if having the extra GB of RAM has anything to do with it or not...
But yes this with AOSP would be pure candy.
Hi guys!
Recently, My Samsung`s Galaxy S7 Edge screen had bad lines on it. I sent it on warranty.
They couldn`t repair it so they gave me some papers to go to the shop and get a new one. There were no black ones so I decided to get a refund.
Here`s a question.
Should I go again for S7 Edge, try iPhone 7 which I heard is faster or maybe wait for S8?

iPhone just NO
If you have another phone you can use then I would wait on the S8

Im also thinking they will build a great s8. After the note 7 fiasco, Samsung sure won't to present a phone that shows all of Samsung's know-how.
Iphone is for someone who only want a phone, if you like a pocket comuter you should go for anything with android.
iPhone is definitely a no-no for me. I'm not the typical Apple hater (I have a good old Retina MacBook Pro 2012 and I love that thing) but well... iOS is what it is, with all its "artificial" limitations Apple enforces to control it, control the user experience, control what you can do with it.
For me the iPhone + iOS platform = wasted potential
Yo, guys.
I just bought today s7 edge black onyx, and i cant believe how awesome this phone is. Also, i got Level On Pro Wireless headphones, which are great too!
I have used iPhone for 4 years, and i can say i'm pretty new about this whole stuff. Can you commend me some tips, tricks, some android forums, and all related to s7 edge.
Thanks!
Welcome to Android and xda?
99.999999% of everything you'll need, want to know, and that you need but don't know you need yet is posted here. My advice is to spend a while (a week maybe) getting to know your phone. Don't try any tweaks or similar yet. And read read read read! Everything is here. It may be buried deep in the fora, but seek and you will find.
XDA is the right place for you buddy @vukashinp
