AICP is a custom rom like cyanogenmod with a lot of features than cyanogenmod.

Bro not trying to be rude here but... Why don't you try porting? Its actually not that hard to pick up. I would do it but my phones boot loader is locked

Are you sure that is gps, not a-gps? If gps without internet connection works for you, it is awesome
