Samsung Touchwiz Boosters? - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys in the default video and gallery app of a S4, S5 or any samsung phone the colour and details goes damn sharp when watching a video or movie. It's clearly noticeable on full brightness. I recently installed cm12 and saw that those boosters are not in those roms. Is there anyway I can get those boosters back cause I do a lot of movie watching on my phone?

[Q] Video killed the radio star

Hi everyone! I've had my streak for about two weeks now. Everything is great except video recording. I've only tried it in 720p...but honestly, why would you go lower if you didn't have to? I digress... The video quality is really bad. The color is off and there is a lot of ghosting. I'm coming from a captivate where video recording was one of it's strong spots (the strong spot?).
Are the any tweaks or mods that can be performed to better the quality of video footage? Anyone?

Samsung Galaxy Note GT N7000 new 4.0.4 Firmware Review

Hey Guys! I have made a full in depth review on the new Official 4.0.4 Firmware on the Galaxy Note GT N7000. This review will hopefully cover the performance, Interface, benchmarks and some other little things about the new firmware.
In this second video i will cover the new PoP up Player which has been included in the new firmware. This feature was first seen on the Galaxy S III and now is seen to be present on the new firmware as well. Check it out!
I think Super (Floating) Video might be better than the pop-play. It has resizable, slide to adjust volume and brightness, etc.
Thanks for the videos though.

S5 Camera Vs S6 camera Video Comparison

Hey guys,
This is a real quick video comparison between the Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S6.
The settings used in this video were AUTO mode with Flash off and AUTO HDR turned on. Everything else was the same.
Enjoy.

I am frankly astounded by how alike these photos are. Viewing on the N7, and maybe the differences will be more obvious on the PC

I know what you mean, but i'd say in all instances, I'd give the edge to the s6. In a couple of photos the difference is huge though - the one of the leaves for example.
Watched it on my TV, and really could tell the differences. Not subtle at all in most of the shots! I've been watching as many of these as possible to justify jumping from the S5!
With good light, the differences are subtle to non-existent. I've been taking absolutely great pictures with my S5 all year long -- with good light. Start taking the light away and the difference between the two phones is substantial. If you look at my S5 album, probably 80% are taken outdoors. I'm sure that number will go down when I get the S6.
Videos? Fuggedaboutit. I only really take slowmo on my S5.

Video Play Bug?

Hello all, recently, since the T-mobile Samsung galaxy s6 edge update, my phone is not able to play video correctly. To the best of my knowledge it did not occur before the update, but i cannot assure you that. So what happens is every time i play a video, whether its Instagram, Snapchat, Vine, or my personal videos, it starts to bug out. Whenever i play a video, 4-5 seconds after the start of the video, there is, what i can best describe as iPhone slow motion effect. The start of the video there is no defect, but once a few seconds pass, the video lags heavily. Although the video slows down, the audio never seems to falter. This has happened constantly since i noticed it.

Go to developer options then click use awesome player instead of nuplayer

I noticed the very obvious stutter as well on my new S8 + playing it back on the phone as well as my quad core i7 PC. It was reduced about 90% by turning OFF the video stabilization in the settings tab located top right of camera setting.
For some strange reason, it works best on the 3840x2160 and 1080P 60 fps settings.
The stutter was quite jarring and disappointing when I first saw it. Cars would literally stop for a moment and then resume again a few feet back. Much better now. It looks like even with stabilization off the optical (as opposed to switchable digital) appears to be still working so the results look very good.
The auto-focus is also amazing - the best I've encountered (including some pretty expensive 4K camcorders).
The still camera, particularly in low light is amazing! Hard to believe the detail, color, and lack of noise in dim light photos with no flash - WOW!
i am experiencing the same exast thing where all google videos keep stuttering constantly
