When I flash Precy_g2 cyanogenmod#2 I always get stuck on the bootlogo...
I dont know why..but i followed all the instruction
Can anyone help me please?

wish rom you use? stock or cm7 based rom
if you are using cm7 based rom that should by working if not tham it's getting a bootloop

CyanogenMod #2 kernel will never boot.The kernel is used while flashing CM7.2.

he means that the kernel works only with cm7 rc2. aosp by spacecaker works as well
btw, did you format system, data and cache after installing the kernel? it is required since the kernel recognizes only ext4 partitions

Yes, I did First mount the system, data and cache next I install the kernel after that i formatted system, data and cache then mount all of them again for the ROM i choose to flash..then the Result is get Stuck on Bootlogo

Support for Galaxy S4 Mini GT-I9195
Hi, I tried this on a GT-I9195 using the "Galaxy S4" preset... Both ROMs seem to be installed, but once I install the second ROM, there doesn't seem to be any way to boot back into the first ROM.
I'd love for this to work on my device (serranoltexx). Could I help add support for this device in some way?

There were no errors and both ROMs are physically taking up the space; just it boots into the second ROM no matter what I do. It sounds like it's pretty close, can I help make this work?

Dual Boot with MIUI 4.9.26
Hello,
i tried to install the MIUI v5 4.9.26 Multilang but I got the error in the picture attached to this post.
Could you help me to install It? I have Omega ROM for first space and for the second I would install MIUI. I've already patched the ROM with the app for Android on the Omega and the tool create a dual.zip of the original MIUI ROM. I tried to flash it from recovery (TWRP 2.8.0.1 with Aroma MOD)

Alucard 1.4oc kernel issues
Hey, i am trying to flash Alucard 1.4oc over SlimKat on my Dual partition.. The patched script seems to install fine, but my boot just stops at the Samsung logo, vibrates twice and restarts... I can see that they made some changes to their updater_script, but I have not figured out if this is the source of my problems,or if it is not related to my multi-boot at all..
So, i just wanted to know if anyone has patched 1.4oc on anything other than Primary with success.

Well, I was trying to reply to the question on app sharing. I have used both the full share and the individual. I stopped the full share because of the differences between Gapps with the different ROMS. However, the full share seems like a better bet because it is a straight swap of partitions. The individual app sharing has been working, but as it has been noted, data is not part of that... Also, i find the use of hard links challenging when i am trying to look at my filesystem and figure out what is where. Not to mention that it doesn't really let you manage all the apps you care about for all the ROMS in one place. I have needed to go to every ROM if i want to uninstall a shared app and really have it go away.
that said, i don't really want to go down the path of partitioning my external sd card and using something like Link2SD. I am going to wait and see what our patch master produces for his latest updates that try to handle sharing of data, as well.

Response to Primary Rom update question
1) From recovery, flash the DualBootUtilities
2) Select Primary
3) Do a full wipe
4) Exit to recovery
5) From recovery, install your new primary ROM as usual
The big point noted by the OP is to avoid using recovery wipe utilities because they may wipe parts/all of secondary ROMS (those in Dual and MultiSlots)

Ok, got my kernel patched and working. As it stands right now, it looks like the current releases of the Alucard AOSP kernel (1.4oc) do not patch correctly. I confirmed this for 1.4h and 1.4oc. It took a lot of painful sleuthing, but i finally determined that the Alucard kernel for AOSP gets a patch for the init binary. I could not tell from the commits why this was needed originally, but it appears that Alucard changed something on his end, or the ROMS have changed something else on their end or whatever.. Regardless, the init_kk binary is now incompatible with 1.4 AOSP kernel.. I didn't have a dev environment handy to just change the config and rebuild the DualPatcher app, so i did the following to confirm:
1) Ran the DualPatcher app for the 1.4oc kernel
2) Started recovery, and flashed the patched kernel
3) went to the shell, unpacked the ramdisk and replaced the patched init with the original from the Alucard kernel ramdisk
4) repacked the boot.img, copied it to MultiKernels
5) rebooted
At this point, my ROM booted fine.

9.0 Apk crashing
I also have the same problem. Tried to patch several different ROM for S5 but the app crashes at 0%. Using the 9.0 app

Dualboot TW Update
Hi guys,
I'm using the Dualbootoption developed inhere. As primary I'm using TW, as secondary DirtyUnicorns. Now the thing: I could make a Update of Touchwiz by Kies. I now, Root Rights will be removed and the Bootloader will be closed. So after the update I have to unlock the Boodloader and to root the Phone again to use the Dualboot Option or only to unlock the bootloader.
Just a few Information please

I think you must be rooted to set the kernel for your primary rom, and also have an unlocked bootloader to have custom recovery so you can flash dualboot patched roms

Yeah that's clear. But I have the dualboot option yet. To change after the update its enough only to root the smartphone or also to unlock the Bootloader?

First of all you need to reboot in fastboot mode (turn off, after that press volume up + volume down + power).
When you are in that mode, you can flash your recovery with the command fastboot flash recovery <recovery image>
For root you should download the last SuperSU from chainfire (you cand find it here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/supersu/2014-09-02-supersu-v2-05-t2868133) and flash it via recovery.

That because this new AOSP automaticaly install the stock recovery.
You should reinstall it manualy !
I think next rom build will fix that or install B21 from @sykopompos (http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-4/development/lpv-79-mako-port-beta-t2807446)

When i flash from TWRP i receive the No OS Installed message, it's normal?

I used a modified gapps from the lpv thread and it seemed to work ok, the whole thing, its really beautiful.
However, unusable.
I did a dirty upgrade from CM11, and now play services won't work, and process.android.media keeps crashing. I mean i get error messages every few seconds. Can't even install logcat. Any ideas, besides formatting the whole thing and starting over?

I've install TWRP 2.8.1.0 and, after wipe/factory reset, i've install the rom B21 with chainfire 2.19 supersu and fix for calendar sync.

That rom (B21), should be install from clean status only.
Mostly that rom contain alredy the minimal gapps, the other can be install by Play Store.
Personally this rom work perfectly

Does the Battery-Bug from 5.0 concerns Nexus 4 devices?

I installed CM4.4.3 Gapps didn't modify anything and its working just fine. The play store took some time to come up on the first try. I'm using all the google apps with now problems so far.

No, there is no recovery in the update.zip. I have flashed about 10 times today and I still have my good old TWRP 2.7.0.0.

If you already have TWRP or CWM installed (or your phone is rooted): yes. It might even work with stock recovery, but I haven't tested.

There's a new version with root support. Unfortunately, none of my root apps is compatible with Lollipop so far

You can always boot to recovery. Just press and hold power and vol down (when powered off).

You could try fouldermount but SuperSu is required afaik

So I have again this bug. How Can I fix it?

Recharge your phone and watch the overall battery life from 100 to 5%.
When it is good forget about it. If not install better battery stats.
In my experience the Battery Information is not like it was in KitKat.
I think the misc is some kind of calibration and will go away after a few recharges.
After the first install the information displayed depends on 2600mah which no battery except new ones has.
Hard to describe in english would sound more logically in my native language

Stuck in Bootloop
I'm using TWRP, I wipe data/restore factory and when I install the ROM.zip it says this:
E: unable to locate partition by back-up name: 'and-sec'
no MD5 file found
failed to mount /dev/block/platform/msm_sdcc1/by-name/system at /system: INVALID ARGUMENT
unmount of /system failed; no such volume script succeeded result was [0.200000]
After that I install gapps and I'm stuck in bootloop.
What does this mean? How can I fix it? I'm currently running CM12 by antares and alucard

You need to convert your partitions to ext4. Official CM12 doesn't support f2fs yet

Wipe->advanced wipe
Select cache->change or repair file system->ext4
Select system->change or repair file system->ext4
Select data->change or repair file system->ext4 (Warning: internal storage is formatted, make a backup of your personal data before doing this!)

Some people say it works, but you should always make a nandroid backup to be sure.

AntaresOne could you please fix the virtual buttons in BSPlayer? They stay on while playing video. Thank you.

Flashed this rom and its like butter! So smooth. Havent notice any bug yet. I came from Optimized build by Antares! BTW i intalled it clean Thank you so much again @AntaresOne

i've tried 3 different gapps packages and none of them worked with the nightly build from 1/20.
the apps are always crashing

Why does AndroidOS have such a big battery use?

I lost root when I installed this. Did this happen to anyone else?

It seems 1/22 build has battery drain issue. I reverted back to 1/21 build. I read someone posted about changing lockscreen. I have the same issue, i accidentally change my theme and now i have different wallpapers. Sounds cool but it wasnt.
NOTE: Download theme with nice wallpaper then choose it in themer. Just the LOCKSCREEN WALLPAPER and you are ready to go. (cyanogenmod lockscreen wallpaper is cool but ehemmm i dont like it.)

Step:4=> then Turn off your phone and hold 3keys at same time( HOME key volume up key and power key) after samsung logo leave the keys after some seconds you will get recovery mode(Note: home key is for select and volume keys are for up and down
Step:5=> now choose update zip from SDcard and select cwm recovery.zip after that you will see new recovery mode its fully yellow:laugh: now go to mount and storage option and format system,format data and format cache...after format mount all and make all like this "unmount system,Unmount data and Unmount cache (note: now your back touch working for go back
Step:6=> now go back and choose zip from SDcard option then select from sdcard and select DKmixed.zip and wait for flashing complete :good::good:
Step:7=> Step 7 is so simple hahaha just choose reboot now and wait for 5-10minutes because 1st boot takes a long time :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

May be you are using HF #50 kernel so wifi hotspot error just flash wifi driver and problem solved

Wifi isn't workinG..
Hey buddy.. Your Rom is awesome .. but the only thing i am facing is with wifi .. When i turn on my wifi it starts scanning networks and when i try to connect any wifi network its not connecting.. it keeps on scanning and connecting and scanning and connecting.. The data connection works well and everything works awesome.. "except WIFI" .. I tried to reinstall the rom but still same problem .. Please fix this bug its annoying

brother please flash wifi driver and use your wifi.....download dhd1.zip and flash it thanks for using it
