New App in beta phase for flashing - Sprint Galaxy Note 4 General

There is a new app from Chainfire developer to help in flashing ROMs,modems or any flashable files without need to flash any custom recovery.
The app boots up to a new mode in order to flash different files.
And this app is called Flashfire and it supposed to alternate the mobile odin.
This is the link to its page
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3075433
I didn't find anybody here in this subforum tried this app.

Flashfire, not Flashify.
This is from Chainfire, so that alone carries some weight.

Update guessing is the ota? You can use flashify app from play store to flash either TWRP recovery 2.6.3.2 that is a IMG. Or 2.6.3.3. That's a zip file .....
Okay will try

I just read in another thread that custom recoveries cannot yet be flashed on the latest OTA. You have to revert back in order to have a custom recovery. According to this thread.

I got the phone this past Friday. Took the ota update before even attempting to root the device. I used the newest ioroot12 and achieved root yesterday. I have tried to use the Loki method to flash recovery also tried using flashify neither one has worked. What method did you use. Also thanks for your help...??

Just flashed recovery img with flashify again. It says complete and gives option to flash more stuff or reboot. I choose reboot and it powers off. So I tried power button and vol down and that way also just powers off...

TWRP installer app

Has anyone with a Canadian variant S4 used this app and had success. Also.. Is it worth upgrading to 2.6.3.1 if a previous version is working well for me already?.

+1
If GooManager (from the Play Store) doesn't work, you can always use Odin to flash TWRP.
Odin used properly is arguably safer than Goo. But careless use or just really bad luck can result in problems with any flash method. For my money, stick to Odin to install TWRP. Then once that is in place try to do most flashes with flashable zip files via TWRP.

[Q] Flashify to flash recovery

Hello Everyone just want to ask before I go to root and install recovery Im still stock and not rooted so heres my idea to root and install custom recovery
1. Root using towelroot
2. Install recovery using Flashify
3. Install custom rom
can this method work? anyone have tried this? since I dont want to use odin because Im still noob
TIA
Towel root may not work, you may have to use Odin because Samsung patched their kernels.

What firmware/bootloader version are you on? I337? Most likely you're on a version where twrp or cwm will not work. Only mdb and mdl bootloaders allow a custom recovery other than safestrap.

You're on nj4 firmware. Safestrap is the only recovery that'll work for you. See the general forum for help.

How Can I Install A Custom Recovery On OC3 5.0.1?

Now that Xposed is compatible with Samsung TW ROMS, I'd like to install Xposed on my S4 with 5.0.1 Lollipop and OC3. I need a custom recovery to install Xposed, so how can I do it?
I've searched and can't find anything. Right now I have just the stock android recovery.
You can't. The only custom recovery you can use is safestrap and afaik xposed won't flash in it.
