hi guys , i do as this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1800042
everything i done according to that thread , but when i turn on my nexus 7 , nothing happen ,
so i wonder ,if there some differents between our pads
and i already got rooted .
can you tell me why and what to do for the launcher rotation ?
thz!
Pull down the notification slide from the top of the screen.
Next to the time and date there should be a little icon. If it is a padlock, then press the icon to unlock rotation.
If not that then I can only assume you missed a step or maybe mis-typed something from the guide?
Why can't u use Nova or Apex for rotations???
I don't own a N7 but can't that be a easy solve???

If I have helped you.... hit that sexy thanks button. ^_^

Watched the video, thanks for the link. Tricks, tips and short cuts are always great.
Does someone know how to remove a 1 icon place that Power Toggles takes up in the notification bar, I don't want it, I could only set it to "transparent" but there's still an icon, just transparent, I'd like to remove it completely?

AFAIK we have to live with it.
As you can read in the PowerToggles' FAQ:
"4) Can the notification widget icon be removed?
No. Current android API does not support a notification without an icon. You can instead use a transparent icon or a battery icon."
If you hate that little thing, take the notification icon to the bottom...
And how do I do that? Sorry, don't know :/
In "online help" in Power Toggles, it says "However on Jelly Beans (4.1+) you can also set the notification priority to "1" to truly remove the icon" - and how/where do I do this?
Good video. BTW is that pic of your 09-10 WRX? I have a 08.

On original quicksettings, dunno.
With 3rd app, possible.
Google for an app that can put shortcuts in notification panel.
Add a shorcut/activity/"your home launcher"=>home activity.
That's one way to succeed.
One app I use is Power toggles from here https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.painless.pc&hl=fr
Another solution is to install all in one gestures from here
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phoenixstudios.aiogestures&hl=fr_FR
Here you can set what you want in screen edges that you choose yourself.
I use it from ages, really great application.
Reply me if what I say is not clear enough.
Good luck
Franky
Thanks for the information.
Thanks for the useful information Sir.I installed it but i get another quick toggle window below the original one.

Use reply if you want a quick response
Yep, that's why it's for.
Here you choose shorcuts of:
- app you want
- activity you want (here, your launcher's home activity)
- and more options...
If you don't like this solution, choose the second one
My pleasure

hallo,is there a way to alert appears regularly on the lock screen, we can click and get to the home screen? I saw this APK file but forgot where?
This seems to be on stock Nougat firmware. I can double tap the notification area of Always On screen to wake the phone
Yes I know, but there is APK file All he does is send "notification" as soon as you tap it opens the Home screen. Quite simply, just that I do not remember who brought it here somewhere.
I had a tasker profile running to show empty notify icon through alert setting. So that I can double click the icon to wake pattern lock screen and then fingerprint to unlock works.

Try this...without pressing any button (for Edge users) .... just swiping edge screen (it should be activated) and then lightly touch the Home button to recognize fingerprints... [emoji6]

I hate that and lot slower than other methods. Double tap notification to unlock is lot faster and easier than pressing home button.

I suppose everyone has their own preference as I find it simpler to just press the home button. Wakes up screen and unlocks at the same time. Faster and easier for me.
