[Q] [REQ] PS3/Wii Controller app / Is it possible?

i know there are some apps to use the wii controller, but none of them work on the SGS2...
i would love to get an app to use the wii controler or the PS3 controller to play on my SGS2

Use an AOSP rom. I'm using my myTouch 4G with blueputdroid to control my PS3. It even has a PS3 controller layout.

I know, but there isnt an aosp rom for the SGS2 yet, im waiting for cm7

Hello
I have made a tutorial on how to play games on any android device using a PS3 controller via bluetooth... I have demonstrated this on my Galaxy Note.
I have shown how to configure it with various emulators (PS one and SNES)

Do the analog sticks work? Specifically, are the analog sticks emulated as analog, or just digital (full on/full off) key presses, with no gradient?

Emulated as digital... analog emulation is being worked on as per my knowledge but as of now its digital

How do you get the ps3 controller to work on your galaxa Note ?
I tried it ever and ever again with different Versions of Firmware , Different versions of the Sixaxis Controller App and also with different ps3 Bluetooth
Controller,but i don´t get a Connection between my Galaxy Note and the

At the Moment my phone comes with stock firmware kl7 and i use Sixaxis
Controller App Version 0.3.9
The Ps3 Sixaxis Controller is Original from Sony.
The Galaxy Note is of course rooted.
I didn´t get this to work.
It makes me crazy
I paired the controller with the pairing tool.
then starting the sixaxis app,but the 4 lights on the controller were still blinking
and then they turns off. No Connection
Which firmware and wich version of sixaxis Controller app do you use ?

Turn off bluetooth on your phone first.
Then open sixaxis controller
Then connect controller to pc
Download sixaxis pc software
Change the code to whats found on the sixaxis app on the note
Now hit start on the app
The first player light should come on
Change input to sixaxis.
You should be good to go.
If anything is unclear please watch my tutorial video once more...
If the issue still persists contact manufacturer... (lol Ive always wanted to say that... juz kidding if you still cant connect it come back and leave a post explaining where exactly do things go wrong)

Good news and bad news...
Good News... it can be done and its simple
Bad News... You need a receiver from microsoft, the one you get to connect the controller to pc... then you can connect it to the usb port (in case the galaxy note theres no USB port so connect a usb host adapter to the micro usb post and then the receiver to that)
Android should handle the rest.
This should work in theory and I have seen it work on honeycomb... not a 100% sure on gingerbread
COST:
USB Receiver $20 (approx.) (Amazon)
USB Host adapter $1-3(approx.) (Ebay)

No you can juz connect to the laptop with a usb cable.. the one you use to charge your ps3.

otg and phonejoy do work if u are rooted. There is a conversation on this already in themes with a topic on game controllers. Ps3 and wired 360 controllers work and phonejoy but check the topic to be sure

Allshare cast hub

Hi,
I am curious about this allshare cast function. Does it mirror ur phone screen to the tv exactly ? Besides using the hub, can I mirror directly to the tv or onto galaxy s2 without getting the hub ? Thanks

Hi pool,
yea it will mirror exactly whats on your phone to the tv. including games videos internet and all. As for the s2, im not sure. Maybe a microusb to usb thingy? Someone else can elaborate.

On the you tube video, there are times when you use a controller instead of the S4. Can you tell me what that controller is and how it connects to the phone? Where do I get it?

To mirror phone to tv you have to purchase 'allshare' tv adapter.

even for last year 'highest' model of tv,es8000,screen mirror does not work,but streaming video is okay(from player you select output device tv and in a few seconds its there)
but this still sucks,better to use some stupid computer or android stick,or just your computer(tv as monitor,heh),smart tv my a**
i call this proof of concept,not working technology
or maybe purchase evolution kit...yeah,sure
(note that i don't have any adapter,i don't see any hardware problem there,and i'm not gonna buy hardware patch for software problem)
