[Q] Screen on while charging

I was just wondering if the screen on the LG G2 is supposed to remain on if you plug it in for charging?
I'm running stock UI and after plugging it in, when I wait for the screen to time out it goes to a live wallpaper and other themes I've tried seems to do this as well. I can't find any way to have it time-out normally to an off LCD screen. I'm just afraid that with the screen on that it will affect the charge time.
It seems that I can only get the screen to turn off by pressing the power button. If I try to knock off, it just throws the phone back to my lock screen.
Is this normal? If so, is there anyway to set it so the screen turns off automatically while charging?

Sometimes snowy screen

I buyed a second hand lg g2 d802
The screen got replace on this on,
Everything works but sometimes wen wake up the phone the screen is static / snowy, but power off with power buttom reboot the phone and screen works again... Got no clue what is wrong

Unstable connection between flex cable and LCD, it may need to be changed or just taped to hold the connection better. PM me if you want to know more

Every time I lock my phone and my screen shuts off, it immediately turns back on

Hi guys.! i have a G2 D802 using XENON HD rom and 3.4.0-cm+ kernel. Every time I lock my phone and my screen shuts off, it immediately turns back on locked. The problem is that it turns back on with the slightest sense. In my car, in my pocket, on desk, everywhere. I Have xposed firmware with sensor disabler module installed. Can I disable a sensor or change his sensitivity in order to fix it.?

hi, i have an lg g2 (d800 -att)
i recently started experiencing a problem that when i wake my device the screen will remain black (it does turn on, as in a dark room i cant see the that the backlight is on)
when in this state, i can play with the hw buttons (power,volume), and after a few tries i can get the screen to turn back on again.
this usually happens after some use, and not after the phone was idle.
i am not sure if this is a hardware or a software issue, the screen is obviously still connected because of the backlight,
i actually replaced my stock lollipop rom into cm13, and this problem persists.
did anyone experience something like that before,?
any ideas on what can i do to identify the cause of the issue?

Why does the screen always dim after a few seconds during a call? I have to keep tapping the screen to wake it back up and there doesn't seem to be any way to disable it.
