Stuck on LG logo with LED blinking - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I tried to flashh Cloudy G2 2.2. I forgot to save the kitkat bootloader on my device after wiping. I decided to boot to system and copy the kitkat bootloader from my PC. Now I'm stuck at LG logo. How to fix this please? :crying::crying:

Its okay, do you have a USB otg. If so, put the KitKat boot loader on there and flash it via twrp. Also you could adb sideload the KitKat boot loader. Get your phone into recovery mode by: hold power button for 20 sent until phone turns off completely, press volume down and the power button simultaneously until the lg logo pops up, let go of both buttons and quickly press the same 2 buttons again and hold until it goes to a white factory reset screen. Just go through that screen and then twrp will boot up

[Q] Bricked after dirty flash?

Can someone help me out? I just installed Clean Rom with a dirty flash over OSE Rom. ( I know I should have done it clean). After trying to reboot I got stuck on black screen with this: [810] Fastbootboot mode started
[860] udc_start()
I have TWRP 2.6.3.2 installed as my recovery. I tried pressing power/volume down at same time; takes me back to same screen. Any thing you guys suggest trying?
That happened to me once. I also could not get back into recovery mode. The only option I could think of is to put the phone in download mode and restore the phone to stock. There are threads posted on how to do this

Let us know what happens. Good luck!
I found an easier way. When powered off hold volume down and power. When you see LG logo release buttons and press them again. when you are in the factory reset screen just press the power button 2 times and it should take you to recovery. This works for me in the T-mobile variant running TWRP.

HELP! Bricked?! Stuck on LG boot screen!

PLEASE help, I'm panicking right now. I have had my LG G2 phone rooted for a while but recently I decided to flash http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2481196 as my custom rom. I've never done this before and I thought I got through the adb stuff and loki...etc. I was in TWRP and told it to install Buckeye V3.zip and when it finished, it said successful (I did note that it said "unable to mount /system") but I clicked reboot and now it just shows the LG screen and it stays there! I get a blue & green flashing notification light at the same time. I am trying to hold power and up buttons... power and down buttons...etc and nothing is happening other than restarting and going back to the LG screen!
Please help!
Press and hold power button for sometime. Ur phone will turn off and will restart automatically. While restarting press volume down button and power key so that it will boot to recovery.

OMG ok I just got back into TWRP and now I'm afraid to reboot again. What can I do now that i'm in??? Should I try installing Buckeye again or choose wipe? No idea what to do next to get out of this situation.
If u have any other custom rom in ur phone, u Can flash it. Or u can side load a custom rom via adb or u can boot to download mode and flash stock rom if u have the necessary files

Just make sure the Rom you're flashing matches the model of your G2.

LG G2 stuck at "Fastboot Mode started udc_started()"

Hi everyone. A friend of mine has got a problem with his G2:
I have an LG G2 D802 with rayglob flex 3.5 custom rom. Yesterday I tried to install a custom kernel (dorminax 2.1):
1) I downloaded the kernel for lg g2 802
2) entered in twrp recovery
3) Instal - Flash of kernel 2.1
4) after a few seconds a "Succesfull" message appeared
5) I rebooted
6) phone got stuck with: Fastboot Mode started
udc_started()
at the top left corner

He said that he can't enter the recovery anymore by pressing volume down + power, it doesn't work.
Have you guys any tips? He'd like to recover his data as well...
I guess u installed the wrong version of Dorimanx, download the correct version

How to flash it if the device doesn't boot even in recovery?
It'll boot into recovery, just hold and press power and vol down key and reboot.
Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
I'll tell him to keep trying, maybe i'ts just a timing issue. Thanks.
So, the suggestion is... boot into recovery, then...? Wipe everything and restore the backup (if there's one)?
Well he can push the correct kernel via adb and flash it
Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
He's not too used to this kinda things (me neither). How can this be done?
It's easy, well Google it, u will find videos explaining the same
Sent from my LG-D802 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
there is a thread to make your phone "back to stock", then you will be fine.
Sent from my LG-D800 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Thanks everyone! He successfully entered into recovery (just wrong timing I guess) and flashed the right kernel (located on an usb pen drive attached with otg cable).
He thank you very much.

My phone has done the same thing an when I hit the buttons to go to recovery mode, recovery mode just flashes up an it goes back to the fastboot screen again
I was having the same issue... Until I noticed that it was the power cable that was messing with my attempts to enter recovery!
So here I leave my tip! Do the power button combination without any connection! :good:

Were you able to successfully get in recovery mode? I try to combo multiple times and it still goes straight to fastboot mode

Can you enter download mode? If not you should also use fastboot to flash your partitions.

is your problem solved yet?
I have just flashed the wrong kernel due to my carelessness and complacency and managed to fix this issue thanks to this thread!
Make sure no power cables are plugged in as it will interfere the process to boot into recovery mode.
Hold power button down until the phone is completely off, keep holding it there for another 10 seconds.
Hold volume down and power button together now until LG screen comes out. let go of power button only
If all goes well you should see TWRP recovery and thank TWRP team for their great work!
There's a Dorimanx app in the store so this doesn't happen.
flashed the right kernel (located on an usb pen drive attached with otg cable) sorry how to do it ? any link ? thanks

Issue after installing camera mod

I installed AOSB recently and decided to try out xdebbebs camera mod (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2548974) and now it gets stuck at the boot screen. I can't get recovery to come up via power+vol down and if I try to access it via ADB it says unauthorized.
i can get into the hardware button control menu where it shows my imei and allows me to select answering calls by pressing both volume buttons and that.
i also am able to get into download mode. but i cant find the drivers and they wont auto install
LG g2 VS980
Hold power+volume down
Let go of power button for a second when lg logo pops up then press again you should see something that says factory reset hit power a few times it should go into twrp or cwm hope it works

PLEASE HELP! Lg g2 d801 no download mode no recovery mode!

My Lgg2 has no recovery mode and no download mode. It's stuck in a bootloop with the lg logo popping up and after that the lg security logo. I was flashing cloudy g2 3.3 before this mess happened. I was on cloudy g2 2.2 before I was flashing. this whole thing has been a mess. First my phone had been recognized as QHSUSB_BULK but then I used SRK tool to try to unbrick and now it is not recognized as a device. It's like it is unconnected. Please someone help.

When you fixed your phone with srk
tools it should have flashed "laf" which is your download mode. Terry holding your power button for 30 sec to fully power it off, them hold volume up and plug in your USB into the computer.

Yes, but it requires you to open the phone and short pins to force your phone into qhsusb_bulk mode again. If you do not feel comfortable doing that then there are services on eBay that cost $20 for repairs. I can post a link if you need.
