Hi guys! just want to share with you some info about the Z4 Compact, surely there are some of you who are interested
I work for a phone case company, and we have here an actual z4 compact case, it is about the same size as the z3 compact, and same camera and flash location, the only difference is the back edges are more rounded.
Want some pics? It's really almost identical to the z3c case.
Sure. Why not. But aren't they just calling it the Z5 compact?

I'm really looking forward this Z5 Compact. I think a fingerprint sensor is a great addiction to the already very good z3 compact I've got
How will the fingerprint reader work with a case since it's embedded in the power button ?
There will likely be a hole just as there is in many z3/z3c's cases

In the picture above, on the Z5, the power button seems to be flat, unlike the camera and volume buttons.
might be soft touch

seems like they've moved or entirely ditched the lanyard on the compact
I'm severely disappointed at how low the volume rocker is. I dont like that at all

I was thinking - since JAM is identical to Treo 600/650 all cases for Treo should work more or less with JAM. I've found this case in local Future Shop store. I thinks that it works wih JAM better than with Treo!
There is no hole for a camera buttom at the left side, but it can be pushed through the case no problem. Volume slider is acessable 75%. At the bottom Mini USB ann headphone jack are acessble through the Treo connector hole!
It's very easy to take unit of the case and use it naked, if you are in safe enviorment. But if you're on the go, I think this case is perfect, it protects front plate and the screen from grease and dirt and sctrathes. Of course, it's not a bulletproof but gives me better, more secure feeling.
Just want it to share
Hi!
Yeah! Thats true. I tried my "old" Covertec Case for Treo 600... works!

Je je... It's beautifull... Try with one iPod case... It fit so good too ;-)
Hi,
I'd like to share with you that I am using a Crumpler case for my HTC TyTN II. The case I am using is called The p.p. 55. It fits the phone perfectly and is great for taking in and out of pockets. The only disadvantage is that it zips all the way round so is not particularly wired headphones friendly as you have to leave it unzipped at the bottom but overall I am very happy with it as a phone case.
Cheers,
andrew-in-woking
Got a link ?
I dont want my loose in my pocket, but the standard case that came in the box is way too bulky for when wearing jeans.
the att tilt (us version) doesn't come with a case. andrew, do u mind taking pics and posting them? i used to have the seido case which is awesome! i have the invsishield but haven't installed it yet.
With a quick google search I found it on amazon here.
Doesn't look too bad, with a variety of colours.
This was the original one that came with the phone:

The massive problem was the un-removable clip on the back. I say un-removable, but it can be removed, though it would have to be permanently by clipping it off.

I prefer mva z1 full hd screen, ips is not symbol of quality, lg g2 id very bad color acurracy, worst than amoled.
Sent from my GT-I9500 using xda app-developers app
Does not say anywhere that it is IPS screen though... not even the japanese spec sheet... just the normal Trilluminus +x-reality...
and I don't like how it looks... looks a lot like IPhone 5C TBH... still prefer the bigger one Z1
I will definitely buy this phone if it will be available on the international market! Unfortunately there is no official statement about this
docomo z1 will probably have this screen aswell lol. but in full hd.
I really wish that this would come out in Europe as well, whilst I do admire the Z1, it is far to big (personal feeling)
I'm not going to cry about 720p instead of 1080p, but finally a 'smaller' device that isn't cut down internally as well!

Thanks for the share! :good:
It's AWESOME details to see what's inside the Z2.. Awaiting for the video release!
Question, which one is the SoC ? I assume thats the BIG die with the Samsung RAM stacked on it ?
It looks like bezel is plastic. Not aluminium as was advertised.
Label says "Prototype build", so it could be a pre-production unit.

This seems like a great fit for our Z4 tablet, perfect for use with the keyboard dock or even without it, the multi-window capability should've been baked in by Sony in the first place IMHO.
http://www.xda-developers.com/jide-announce-multi-window-android-for-pc-and-mac/
Aargh, I thought this was an announcement!
I do agree it would be great.
Guys what are you talking about. There is no even a cyanogenmod for our device. The method of rooting is defective, loss of drm keys and problems with xposed . What's more horibble is that there is almost no development at all. First and last achievement is adroplus kernel and nothing more.
Arrrggg curse you sony why you make this tablet so damn hard to root why couldnt it be like the z2 tablet lol I wouldnt give my z2 tab away over z4 if it had the exact same keyboard
It would be nice if I could download the above file. It downloads a portion then stops.:crying:
Agreed, I love this tablet but dev support is horrible compared to other devices... Honestly, I'll be happy with root on marshmallow once we get it... My only knock so far is not being able to move all app files to SD, looks like marshmallow should take care of that tho
