[Q] GT-I9502 I9502ZNUAMDI ROOT help

Hello, I'm in China, Beijing with my girlfriend and her mother bought her this lovely Samungs 4 chinaunicom phone. It doesn't come with any google services, and my girlfriend really wishes to use these google services. She wants to root it, but I don't know much about this topic. I was wondering if someone can write a detailed guide or point me in the right direction. I see so many guides for different androids. I was just hoping to know what to do for this model.

Sadly I can't read. My girlfriend is Chinese, but she isn't around for awhile. If you can help me I would gladly appreciate it. I'm going to take a look at the link above as well, maybe that will have answers for me

Hi,I have uploaded some files that wil be used to root the I9502 and flash the recovery.
First, put zip file UPADTE-SuperSU-V1.30.zip and the google apps in your sd card. Reboot your phone to the Download mode.
Extract the two zip files: i9502-csc-root.tar.zip and i9502-cwm-recovery.tar.zip
Then connect your S4 to pc,and open odin. You should choose CSC for i9502-csc-root.tar.md5 ,pda for i9502-cwm-recovery.tar.md5. Start to flash them.
After that,reboot your S4 to CWM. WIPE the data and cache before install UPADTE-SuperSU-V1.30.zip .
At last install your google apps. OK, that's all. Enjoy it.

Hello Everyone
could someone tell me what ROM i can use on my Note 3 clone from China?
i have a SM-N900 with mediatek MT6572 processor.
i am hoping LIDROID could work? it seems as a good rom
but i am open to all ROMs that are compatible with this unit.
And please...i am as new as soneone could be...so take it easy on me
would love a step by step instruction on the compatible ROM as well

Original Note 3 ROMs and Custom Note 3 ROMs won't work on it. Have a search of the forum, you'll find numerous threads regarding it.

Don't Flash anything mate .... Unless you want to brick it. Just use it as is while it lasts. ... But everything on these forums are for original devices. ... Try Google and see if there are forums for fake phones. I wouldn't chance it personally. ...

Ok. I will try to see if i can find anything on google.
If i cant, i still have a rooted phone.
Do you have any tips on what i can do to improve both phone and battery on this one?
And if you have time, maybe you could help me find a working rom?

Your phone is a fake Note 3 and is not acceptable in samsung note 3 forums - see some more details on the entire subject of fakes here:

i tried a search on MT6572 and could not find much.
as i said...i am a beginner and this is my first buy from China as well.
i am sorry i did post on this forum.
i have tried Google With not so much Luck, and was hoping someone With kindness could help me out here.

Hi!
Can someone port tamirda rom (PHOENIX ROM) for I9505 kitkat to I9500?
he said that he wouldn't continoue his I9500 rom and if someone to port it - he will permit that with cerdit to him.
so, can anyone do that??

At first I did not understand What's the link you gave.

if that isnt good enough, im not sure how anyone can help you
we cant hand everything to you on a plate or spoon feed you, you have to do SOME legwork yourself
But, its obvious you dont want to learn or to know how android works or feel any satisfaction that you have done something yourself
if that link doesnt help you, nothing will
And considering you use an operating system made by google, you sure seem to have a hard time using their most famous product...

If you really want to learn, they you have to get used to searching. XDA isn't very organized.

problem rooting S5369

HI guys, I was looking at this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2085390 about rooting the S5360 (I have a s5369) but when I try to flash the update included in the thread I get an error, screenshot attached (the error says E:Error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip (status 7) Installation aborted)
Any idea?

Try this one instead, otherwise I will edit the updater-script of your package to make it compatible with your model. I think that you will able to install GT-S5360 ROMs on it, but can you give me technical details about your phone ?

Here's an another link ! I want some informations about the processor ect .. Just to check if the specs are the same with the GT-S5360 model. You're welcome !

Thanks mate, unfortunately even that link doesn't work, the page times out (tried yesterday and today with same result in different browsers). As for more details, I downloaded CPU-z and took some screenshots, attached, hopefully that will help you, let me know if you need more:

You will able to install normally GT-S5360 roms, they have the same specs. I joined the root access enable ZIP package. If I helped you, don't hesitate to use the little button below or if you need something else tell me !

Oops sorry ! Here's the fixed one.

Brilliant, thanks. The installation of the new file was successful, no errors and now I have superuser, so presumably the phone is now rooted.
Thanks for your help. In terms of android version, do you know where I can find a list of stable versions I can install? I checked cyanogen mod but I couldn't find my model

Yes, you're now rooted ! Check the GT-S5360 development subforum and you will find a lot of ROMs, but for CyanogenMod, every ported version (7,9,11) has its specific bugs and you will need to choose the one which suits you. If you need any help, just mention me on your post ! Regards.
