If you're in the US, only Motorola's website sells the 16GB/2GB variant, but since it's on motomaker, you can customize all you want. The 1GB variant seems to be all that Amazon and Best Buy have for now.

Last generation Moto G got laggy as hell in real use. Also, 1gb of ram wasn't enough. I'm curious about the 16gb/2gb model.

I have the xt1540 running CM 12.1 and there is no single lag heat issue plus 8h SOT and 2 days standby battery
Not laggy and second cycle got 6hr 20min sot

One thing to mention is that there is a weird thing going on for the upgrade process. If you've been eligible for a couple of months, you can purchase with the discount. Otherwise if you've just recently become eligible you might not see the full discount. I had this problem with my line, but I got it by using my wife's upgrade.

Yes it did, though it doesn't say anything about being a refurbished product on the box. All the normal items that came with the phone were there too. It's practically a new phone for all concerns and purposes.
Plus there is a 90 day return policy if there's a problem with the phone. I love mine BTW.

Well that is before the subsidy. I would think the 16gb would be $199 and maybe $249 for the 32gb? In all likelihood, it will be $249 and $299 respectively.

Yea, a locked /unlockable bootloader is a deal breaker
guaranteed, any of the USA carrier phones, except if the come out with a Dev edition, will have locked boot loaders..
Thats no fun, carriers always restricting freedom.

Knox does sound like a hassle from what I've read. I also want to try a LG device since I've never had one. The size of the device sounds nice to 5.5 inch screen and it's only slightly bigger than the other flagships

It's possible (I wouldn't be shocked if we see some sort of "special edition" before the end of the year), but at this point I wouldn't count on a 32GB model being released through any of the U.S. carriers.
