I tried uploading Froyo to my mytouch 3g. I rooted the phone using the one click method and backed up and flashed the new rom. Upon reboot, the rom wouldn't start up so I recovered and restored all previous settings. I found a new rom and went into recovery but i see the dreaded white triangle, but if I turn it on normal it starts up into the original rom fine and is still rooted. How do I get my recovery back? I am also running ROM manager.
Just reflash the recovery from ROM Manager.

Slowness is not problem of recovery. What do you want exactly?

Seems to me like his phone keeps reinstalling the stock recovery upon reboot or rom manager isn't flashing properly, and probably needs to do it manually with "flash_image". . .
( I posted a way to fix the flashing recovery issue before: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1428838 )
First of all, u didnt described ur problem clearly. then, i think your recovery mode is ok, the thing is you couldn't go through that. did you tried to go to the recovery by holding home+power down key together? then the picture of a phone and a triangle with (!) mark comes up, release the keys and then press them together, hope you will solve ur problem through that.and for making ur phone faster, try bananabread 3.1 , right now i am using that. good luck
Well here
First
I leave the PowerVR settings on
And some how my phone can't boot
Then it stuck on boot loop
Everything work fine if i turn all of option to none
Before i turn off my device or use anything non 3d related
Well now it stuck in bootloop
Let me guess
Flash a rom again?

Reflash STOCK
Then Install CF3D
Change Plugin
Congrats U Have CF3D Installed:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
That's right. Flash STOCK ROM first. Then root your phone. After that, install CF3D and try again. That should work. Btw, what ROM are you using?

Just download and flash latest firmware you are good to go. If you got stuck on boot, you still have to factory reset on recovery.

Has anyone tried it on the T-Mobile version?
cool got that installed, but I dont understand something, my phone REFUSES to manually boot into recovery, either stock or otherwise, I really dont get it.
Goes into odin download mode no problem, but it will not boot into recovery with volume up + power + home being pressed for over a minute. Anyone have any ideas?

i tried that just now, had to patch sd card to make it writeable which seemed to go fine, then tried to reboot into recovery (after the phone auto-rebooted after patching) and its basically stuck at the "samsung gaalxy s6 edge" splash screen, nothing happens beyond that, same as always ><
in order to reboot the phone i have eto hold down power + vol down + home, then release as soon as it turns off and it will boot up normally.
and infact now its not booting up at all, I wll prolly have to re-flash the 925t root file via odin to get it booting again.

Good morning all,
I am throwing this out here hoping someone can please help.
Woke up yesterday to the Essential phone logo screen powered by Android... Unresponsive. Restarted with no luck. Went into recovery mode and factory reset. Went to start up animation for an hour but nothing. Device is locked (bootloader locked) and running on the latest build from Essential (7.1.1/NMJ88C/464). I have never unlocked nor flashed anything on the phone, only OTA updates directly from Essential. Just started it up again today and says your device is corrupt. Factory reset again and now cycling between logo screen and erasing circle.
Any ideas to fix the phone? Reached out to Essential but haven't heard back yet.
Thanks all!

You don't need to be unlocked to adb sideload the Oreo beta builds from essentials website.
Just follow their instructions

I'm searching for answers too! My essential is doing the dotted box to the dotted circle spin back & forth over & over ! I saw the dead robot with exclamation mark . The only thing on the essential website is to wipe phone ! Help. If the person that made this phone do this to people dies please let me know, so I can smile during this stressful time . If they r still alive I hope they are in agony over something thx!
