Okay guys here we go. This is the second installment of OmegaROM. Its a major overhaul from the previous version. Lot of changes are done.

How to install :
Flash CWM5 if you dont already have it
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe cache
Wipe dalvik cache
Choose 'Install zip from sd card'
Choose the file 'OmegaROM-v2.zip'
Reboot after the flashing completes
How to install patch :
Save file to sd card
Go to CWM recovery
Select install zip from sd card
Select the file 'OmegaROM Patch'
Reboot after flash
PS : This Rom gets speedier as you go on using it.
Be warned this ROM is made for pure performance.

I noticed many people wanted CRT-off animation enabled. So i made this patch to add it to the ROM.
The patch also contains hacked hosts file which will give you an ad-free UI.

Best stock rom, if CM weren´t so addictive I would use this, 100% recommended, great job, it really is fast and smooth.
EDIT: I had to give this rom a try, I had only used beta version from teamcooper's site, and now with V2, I can only say WOW! what an amazing rom, I may actually move away from CM with this, I love how smooth it is, how everything works, no lag, quick gps, no scripts needed whatsoever.
Incredible rom...no complaints at all.

We are not showing any partiality here DXKT5 is one of the most stable firmwares out there...which is why we have used it

THIS ROM SUCKS TO THE CORE!!!!
Now that I got your attention, THIS IS THE BEST STOCK ROM EVER!! Nothing can beat this amazing piece of art. I'm really amazed by the time it requires to connect to wifi. The moment I turned on my Wifi *Bam* connected to my wireless hotspot! What sorcery is this?!? Fast. Smooth. To put things simple, this is amazing however there is 1 downfall : the Xperia launcher is not a system app. When I open up task manager via the home button, I could end the launcher easily. Hope that developers would do something about this. But that doesn't pull the rom down . Gogogo TeamCooper FTW!!!!

I know that the launcher is not a system app. So i have made some build.prop tweaks to keep the launcher locked into memory...!!

Does this rom have crt-off animation? Or do i have to manually add it?

finally a stock rom that can pe compared to the greatness od delsking's TheMythICS can't wait for next release of both

As Always:
-100% Charged battery & Recalibrated
-ESSENTIAL: Always, Lets repeat that, ALWAYS have a backup of your EFS Folder! (Possible in the AROMA installer)
Guide when you are already on an ICS ROM (Any 4.0 ROM):
1) Place the ROM on your Internal-SD Card
2) Go into recovery mode
3) Wipe data | Wipe Cache | Wipe Dalvik Cache | Format /System
4) Flash the ROM and follow the AROMA Installer instructions.
5)choose default installation or personalized. you can add and remove goodies. if you choose personalized PLEASE CHOOSE SLIM KERNEL DEFAULT, THE OTHER ONES ARE I9000 KERNELS THAT WONT WORK ON CAPTIVATE
6) Reboot

yes, no more updates sinse codename is discontinued, no more development on cna, so djsound based his rom on slim ics, who wants an old and not updated ics rom.

CNA isn't done... They are having problems with members, are they done. NO! Don't spread lies please...

the link is working for me, im not going to update to 1.9.6 not much changed and it was the lastest update , so stay tunned with this one, in some minutes i have the link up

No stock browser And I know it's still in beta, but this ROM comes with a lot of bloatware, IMO. I like all the customization, but don't care for many of the apps preloaded on here. Others may feel different, sure, but that's just my two cents. I look forward to watching this ROM grow.

I totally agree with u....they started with a base rom under 120mb and tripled its size. The options are nice, but I think most rom flashers already have there go to kernel and modem on the phone to flash to.

about that, i specified in the OP that you must choose custom installation and there you can choose the apps that you want installed in the rom, like the stock browser but you must choose the first kernel that says slim default if you dont select the kernel you will have the otherone you have previously

I havent really delved too much in to this ROM, but when choosing apps I noticed the Google Chrome browser, but not the stock android browser. I may have missed it

it is fast, it is stable and customizable indeed, but nothing works for me i mean only thing i can do is sending/receiving an sms
whatever ringtone or default notification i choose does not matter it does have no sound, everything i correct in stteings, it just does not make any sound. I try to play some music with player no sound again
i can call and receive a call but i can't hear anything and they can't hear me on other side either
i tried flashing few times, default, cutomized, with advised kernel, without advised kernel, but glitch and having always same results.
every other rom works just fine, this is sad as i really liked it

Same prob with sound. Also my camera won't work. I get an error unable to connect to camera!

- updated ril class path, more stable network signal, 2G mode now stay after reboot (thanks to Macław)

- fixed Real Dark Slim
- faster "long press back to kill"
- hope all audio problems now gone
- auto brightness now working more correctly
- no more reboots after uninstalling apps
- removed at this moment Active Display and Network Speed indicator (I have problem with this, maybe be added in future)

Installation method:
• download ROM and save on your external/internal SD
• go to Recovery and make Backup of current ROM in Backup and Restore option
• if you move up from:
a) previous version of this ROM do Wipe cache and Dalvik-cache
b) others 4.3 do the same, but if you see any bugs after boot, do Wipe data
c) any others android version do Wipe data
• choose install zip from and select ROM, wait for completed installation
• you can flash now Gapps package
• now set reboot system now option and wait to system boot up

Wait for a stable CM11 first then only we can get any other stable 4.4 ROM based on it..

This rom is so good but why so few posts in my opinion this is the best of all the roms posted by PolishVodka i love it because it has really good and useful feaures i recommend to use this gapps http://d-h.st/oqz
im currently using it with abbysplug + sio and it feels smooth with great battery life :good:

My review of the slimbean 4.3.1 by Polish Vodka:
1. Smoothest of the lot. Feels marginally smoother than the hybrid CM11 and omni 4.3
2. Visible lags nearly absent.
3. Comes with cool features like slimpie, navigation bar, slim file manager and other interface options. Apex launcher is the default.
4. What's working fine: GPS, Video recording, Wi-fi tethering, youtube, Wi-fi, bluetooth etc.
5. even network mode toggle seems to be working fine for me.
6. No In-call volume bug.
7. MTP working
8. No sound issues and other bugs found in Polish Vodka ROMs
9. Camera is great as compared to some other ROMs but panorama is still laggy.
10. Youtube is still somewhat pixellated.
Not tested: Wi-fi direct.
Battery life: simply great or as good as omni. Idle battery drain is very very slow.
PS- THE ROM IS A KEEPER.

Wasn't DSB released in BETA 1? I can't find it in Settings > Display..
It supposedly had a bunch of improvements in BETA 2..

You cannot flash custom ROMs on the i537, you can only use SafeStrap.

Catch a bug. Com.android.phone.process is fc each time when I try to dial somebody. Did a clean install. Tried to clear cash of contacts storage, didn't help.

problems
I have some problems. At first when I flashed the rom, everything worked perfect. Battery time is just outstanding(and still is, have been awake for about 11 hours without charging it and still have 75% left), apps worked perfectly without any FC. The problem is that now, a couple of days later, i get "Unfortunately, Google Play Services has stopped". Facebook Messenger and Sleepbot also stops unexpectedly, without me even using the apps when they FC. Also, the clock has stopped working. Any clues as to what causes this?

@Chainsmoker I have no clue as to why that is happening. Try removing your gapps (you can use the gapps remover script if youre using pa gapps) and try reinstalling with the latest version?
@6783 That's pretty weird... Maybe try reinstalling but this time clear system and data and cache from mounts and storage and see how it goes? Doing that will remove everything in your phone so be warned.
I'm using this as my daily driver and pretty solid for me so far. L Style Recents can still use a little polishing but other than that the rom has been solid for me.

I had the same experience. Aside from the android.phone FC when someone calls me, the phone also elicits a sound that can be likened to a white noise from an amplifier when a device with an incoming notification is nearby. I also encounter frequent FC with Youtube.

I did clean install again and problem is gone after it. So try just to reinstall it

Informations, please read:
• Novathor Settings (isn't in Rom because may causing reboots, is not fully compatible with Miui kernel):

• MIUI doesn't support ART (maybe V6 yes)
• MIUI doesn't support SELinux, is disabled
• Gapps are inside, please do not flash any others because we don't have more space on /system
• Rom is rooted but you must manually enabled it in Security/Permissions/ROOT Permission
• On default, you cannot download biggest files from mobile data, you can disable it in Tools/Downloads/Settings/set to Unlimited
• This floating button is Mi-POP, disable it in Settings/Stock Settings/Mi-POP
• You can control performance in Settings/Stock Settings/Performance. You should set here lowest min free killer: Medium and set up on boot.
Stock Conservative and Row values are good for daily use.
• Material design of keyboard is in keyboard settings.
• DSP Manager not working with stock Miui Player
• You can't use any kernel for KitKat (because of some changes in ramdisk and selinux)

• go to Recovery and make BACKUP of current
ROM in Backup and Restore option
• if you move up from:
A) previous version of this ROM do WIPE CACHE
B) any other ROM do WIPE DATA/FACTORY
RESET + MOUNTS & STORAGE/FORMAT SYSTEM
• choose install zip from and select ROM, wait for
completed installation
• now set reboot system now option and wait to
system boot up

Thank you so much! I'm asking it because you know, the screenshot is showing us another model^^

The ROM Boots fine, everything works! Some Lags as expected and overall the phone is a bit slow..may be Miui is a bit heavy on NovaThor. Setting up the phone for the first time is a pain. Did not notice any battery drain so far but still testing.
Edit: MIUI is stylish...but using Nova launcher for an App drawer

Just like past versions of MIUI for our device...

it is nice to see that even after so long time, our phone is not dead...yet.Almost developer and teams stopped development and support updates because they have set priority for Android 5.Is appreciated what makes @PolishVodka.

after serveral over of using so far so good... but there are only a problems I facing is screen shuttering(I don't know it called shuttering or something)the screen will sudden flash for 1 sec,if I dint remember wrong this is cause by the kernel cause of minimum CPU frequency keep revert to 400MHz and made the screen blink or flash. Most obvious screen blinking or flashing is when I open the music player apps..... non stop blinking(I thought my phone' screen are dying LOL...BTW nice ROM
And oh yea...I have enable high accuracy mode in GPS but Facebook apps still wan me to setting the GPS ...any solution?

I have precisely the same. The ROM is beautiful. A few amendments and will stay with me permanently.

It is verry laggy and high ram consumption.
One of i.e: i open browser ( only one tab), go to xda, put it in background, open it again and is re-opening because was closed lol.
@PolishVodka: Does miui lags on galaxy ace? There is nothing we can do to make it faster on janice? ... Even debloated miui based on jb lags.

Im using this ROM two weeks and laggs missing. Beauty full ROM.

This ROM will be updated?

No fix. Ondemand + sioplus, im not kidding. Installed on clean JB with temporary CWM. Procesor min 200Mhz max 1000Mhz. Working very good. Installed only needed aplication. Everything like in first post.

I installed it and didn't install any app and it lag too much. I don't understand how you don't have lag . Also it has worst multitasking. It's impossible to not have lag,other people said that is laggy too and i tested it too...
What firmware are you using? Although i don't think it matter so much.

I have base XXLQE. I installed this ROM two times. First time i have lag, too much. Second time clean instal and im very happy.
