Constant restart on charge screen without charging - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey all
My note 4 910F went out of battery, didnt show any attention cause i would charge it when i went home.
Now it doesnt do anything, when i plug the charger it shows the battery icon and restart all the time non stop.
I tried to boot it, shows the Note 4 logo and restarts back to battery and keeps looping.
I removed the battery and inserted it again, still the same.
Cant do anything.
Any ideas???
The charger is the official by the way

Can you get into recovery?

Only on samsungs, loops in everything else.
I have TWRP but cant get there, only the (vol down / power / home) combo works
I dont think is rom related or something like that.... dead battery ? Shouldn't it open at least on charger ?
It boots on the Note 4 logo and shuts down instant and then loops

Normal Defy Battery Behaviour?

I recently acquired a Defy and immediately installed CM11 on it. My main phone is a Nexus 4 and one of its best features is that even if the battery is completely drained, if plugged into the wall charger it will immediately boot up. The iPhone I had before would show a low battery screen until it reached around 10%, at which point it would finally boot.
It seems that when the Defy battery drops below 15-20%, it will not boot at all - pressing the power button does nothing. I plug it into the mains and the usual white light does not show. It still seems to charge and I can eventually boot into recovery to see that power has reached around 20%. At this point if I disconnect from the charger the phone usually boots up. I haven't had it long enough to troubleshoot extensively but I think that while plugged into the wall it is less likely to boot successfully. An unsuccessful boot starts with the Motorola logo, then the screen goes black and the buttons flash once, at which point the boot fails.
Is this at all similar to the experiences of anyone else, or could it be a battery / firmware problem?
Thanks
Have you tried to remove battery, insert it again and then try to boot?
I had the same problem once, I'm on cm10.2. Maybe we should replace the battery, I always charge it before reaches 30%

Samsung SM-T230NU : Won't boot, keeps flashing boot logo

So, I have a Samsung SM-T230NU. When I tried to power it on, it flashed for a split second the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 logo and then went blank. I figured it was out of juice, so I plugged it in and let it charge for an hour or so.
When I came back, it was flashing and going dark.
I tried a different cable. As soon as power was applied, it flashed and went dark again.
Now, the boot logo is showing for an even briefer amount of time.
I am suspecting the battery or USB port. I don't have parts readily available to swap, however.
It may be worth adding, when I plug in the device, without touching any buttons, the screen starts flashing the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 boot logo. I would guess a stuck power button, but the power button travels freely. When I unplug the tablet from the computer, the flashing stops.
Trying to boot it with power + volume up garners no response from the device.
Any ideas?
Having same issue here
Tried hard reset, no dice.
Tried opening the back to see if I can identify some loose connection, didn't see anything funny. I am not an electrician.
My sister's having the same issue with her T230NU. It still boots (it'll boot to the Samsung splash, but then it flashes off the screen in half a second; this repeats every 7 seconds), but only if it's plugged directly to the wall charger. She let it sit overnight to charge, and it's still got this issue. I'm pretty sure her battery was drained when the issue started occurring last night, but it doesn't look like the battery has charged much (if at all) since then.

G2 completely dead all of a sudden

So my phone ran out of juice 4 days ago, it was left uncharged till 2 days ago when i decided to charge it. I plugged it into the nexus 7 2012 charger (which i use to charge many other devices and none had problems including my nexus 5) and the LG logo showed up. After 3 hours i went to check on it and it was just dead and warm. It's completely unresponsive, won't boot into recovery or download, won't show LG logo no matter what button combinations i press. It's not recognized by my PC.
I opened the back case, pulled the battery cable and reinserted it and tried but still dead. When i connect the phone to any charger it warms up but is still completely dead. I tried booting it with the battery unplugged and still dead. What might have gone wrong?
Check voltage of battery (Should not be below 3.7v).
I had issue with mine when battery corrupted. Led was blinking red on charge/pc/power on
I don't think it's the battery, I've already tried booting without it and it won't boot or get recognized by the PC.
You saying about booting without battery, was it "test point" procedure?
I'm not really sure what you mean. I unplugged the battery connector and plugged it in the charger and attempted to boot it up. I was trying to test if the battery was the source of failure but I think it's not since it should have booted up if it was just the battery that failed.
Same with me. I bought a new battery and the same thing happens. Blinking red light. It shows some life for about 3 seconds with the logo coming up but then dies. anyone know whats going on?

My Galaxy S5 goes on a bootloop

Good day XDA,
My phone went on a real havoc starting yesterday when it kept on rebooting in the "Samsung Galaxy S5 powered by Android" logo. It doesn't go past it without having the phone plugged into into a power source, either USB, powerbank or wall charger. After charging it 'til it goes full, it only takes few minutes to few hours before it goes to the same cycle again - and I have to plug it in again in order to use it properly.
What could be the problem? Your immediate response is greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
hi , i find when i experience this issue is when play store updates theme that i have in use at time , soon as i reboot i get bootloops ...i fix mine by pressing and holding vol down menu and power for as long as it takes for bootloader then press them same keys again but release before bootloader so that your phone boots as normal hope this helps
I know this is the combination for force reboot but sadly, that doesn't help. Thanks for the idea, though.
Tried clearing caches from recovery?
Battery still good?
I think the battery might be the problem. When I tried charging it, I went back and it was on 92% then few seconds later, it jumped to 100%. I tried booting it but with no luck, so I pulled the battery and upon putting it back, it dropped to 50%. I pulled and put it back again and it went to 84%. I'm thinking it might be the battery. I cannot boot into system or TWRP, only on Odin mode but I need to save the files saved on my internal storage as it has photos I haven't backed up yet.

S7 EDGE Won't boot up

SOLVED
Apparently I had to let it charge for a whole hour, seems like it was completely drained somehow or something. Close the thread please.
Guys yesterday night my phone had 20% battery, in the morning it must have ran out of battery. But when I tried turning it on it wouldn't. I connected it to the charger it showed the chargin screen but without percentage. Tried turning it on but it still would not.
Tried booting in bootloader mode which it did. But after I restarted it, it stopped charging too.
So right now my phone wont boot up from power menu.
It wont boot to recovery using vol up + home + power
It wont boot to bootloader using vol down + home + power.
And when I plug it to the charger it wont show any signs of charging, no led no charge screen. nothing.
Help me android gurus.
(It's the international version with the exynos rooted)
Try With Different Charger (preferable 2 amp)
